Title: Not Seeing Eye To Eye

Aaliyah Mallory - September 3, 2006 05:41 AM (GMT)
It had been a whole five minutes since Aaliyah Mallory had been sorted into her house when the terrible thing hapenned. Well it wouldn't exactly seem terrible to anyone else but to Aaliyah it was earth shattering.

She had been boredly examining the hall when her eyes fell on the house table of her Fathers old house (and in her opinion the scum of the earth). It wasn't this alone that bothered her. She'd been so wrapped up in her own thoughts, wondering if Tane was ok (She'd lost him in the crowd) and thinking of how long it would be before she and Tane were called home for their Mothers funeral. She was pretty sure the stubborn old bat would hate them being away (she'd have no-one to beat them) she'd probably attempt suicide for the...12th time, that she never noticed who else was here.

She should have realised she'd be there. They were triplets afterall, it was simply expected. Aaliyah still turned red just at the thought of her. When she saw her for real she felt like running over and smashing her face in.

There she was. Sitting there and laughing along with the other Gryffindorks. Jasmine Hunter. Aaliyahs triplet (and yet younger) sister and her arch enemy. She looked over to her brother who seemed to be in a world of his own. She turned back to look for Jasmine and noticed she was gone.

Her fists were clenched with anger when she felt something (or someone) drift behind her. She turned to see...

(Closed for Tane and Jasmine)

Tane Mallory - September 9, 2006 07:24 PM (GMT)
Tane had sat down about a minute after Aaliyah as the old manky hat hadn't taken long in deciding which house he was going to be in. He was lazily leaning back in his seat and staring at the happy chattering people around them when he noticed Aaliyah's face.

He knew what that look meant. She wassn't at all happy. He didn't know why until he saw the figure walk behind Aaliyah. How on earth he hadn't noticed her before now he had no idea. She was so in their faces now he, like Aaliyah wanted to do something to get rid of her. He stopped himself though not wanting to cause trouble on his first night there. The last thing he needed was to be sent back home only a tiny bit into the first term of school.

Instead he just glared at her. His heart aching at the fact he felt like he'd lost a sister years ago and yet here she was walking right in front of him.
