Katie walked over to the table to make sure everything was in order. She looked at her students, then went back to the staff table.

Ginny sat down at the table and waited to see who would join her, she had friends at school but it still felt weird harry, ron and hermione not being there.

"Hey Ginny," Harry said, sitting beside her. "How's it goin'?" His stomach felt knotted up, she was still very pretty. :wub:

"Oh harry" Said ginny as she rushed over and hugged him tight. "I didnt expect to see you here! I've missed you soo much!" :wub:

He hugged her back and held her. "I've missed you too. How are you?"

"Well I'm much better now that you're here! I've been a bit lonley latley since you, ron and hermione arent here and well other then that none of my other friends came back this year either! But all better now that you're here!" Said Ginny :wub:

"wow, you must've beenso lonely," Harry told her sympathetically. "But I'm here...for now. How's Ron doing, by the way? I ahven't seen him for a bit... oh, and how's Percy? Is he still being a prat?"

Ginny smiled, knowing that at least for now things would be good! "Ron is doing well, though to be honest I havent heard much from him, and Percy, I dont even count him family anymore after what he did to us. . and you. I cant stand him!" Said Ginny

"Yeah, I understand," he replied. He still smelled that flower scent that he'd smelled during that one day in potions class back in 6th year. "Is Percy... is he a Death Eater?"

Ginny laughed "Not that I know of but who knows these days w/ him! I think at least half of the ministy of magic may be w/ how they are towards you!"

Harry laughed. "Yeah... and i wouldn't doubt it. I always had the sneaking susupicion about Percy being a Death Eater. I don't know why. I sure miss the good old days... back when I wasn't called the boy who lived. :rolleyes: Back when things were normal..." He sighed.

"You know Percy has always been a pain in the butt but NEVER to this extent. I hope for his sake hes not though, either that or maybe for voldemorts sake huh I think he'd annoy the heck outta him w/ how serving he is." She laughed thinking about how he'd been w/ Mr Crouch. "Yeah I understand what you mean about missing the days before the excitement, but hey Harry if it werent for all the extra excitment you'd have never noticed me." ;)

Harry snickered when Ginny made the comment about Percy annoying Voldemort. "Aw, what do you mean I wouldn't have noticed you! I noticed you but at the time you were taken. Honestly, you should've just asked me! It would've saved us both a lot of trouble." Suddenly he got goosebumps up his arm. What the...? he thought. He looked down and saw Arnold, Ginny's pygmy puff, crawling up his arm. He laughed. "Hey little guy," he said to Arnold. "That fluff tickles, you know that?" He stroked Arnold.

"Oh harry" Ginny laughed and looked at him so content w/ things for the moment. "I would have loved to say something to you, but if you remember I gave up thinking you would never like me! Im glad you changed your mind though." She saw arnold on Harrys arm "Oh thats where he went, I lost him and looked everywhere, go figure the last place I look up my sleeve" :lol: She leaned on harrys shoulder "You know harry when you're around I feel so safe, please dont leave me anytime too soon!"

"I'm not planning to," he told her, kissing the top of her head. He took Arnold off his sleeve then put his arm around her waist. Then he put Arnold on Ginny's head and snickered.

Ginny smiled, she was thinking things couldnt get more perfect then this. "Hey that tickles." She said and realized arnold was on her head

"Awww, isn't that precious". Just to prove the way of the universe, a snide voice came from the direction of the slytherin table "the boy who lived and his little bit of fluff..." Annabella was nearing the almost deserted table, and squinting at Arnold "...ha, litteraly!" she snorted derisively. She was bored and what better way was there for a slytherin to entertain themselves than picking-fun at golden boy potter

"Hi Annabella, I still think hermione and Harry look like they make a very great couple." Tracy said it loud enough for them to hear it. "Maybe they should get married, but I don't think it will last one bit." Tracy turned around at the Gryffindors and she rolled her eyes.

Annabella frowned, this was not what she had planned "Ah but what you fail to understand my dear Tracy is that whilst our..." she smirked "...beloved hero is wizened beyond his years, his piece of fluff however..." she turned to Lucy, pausing slightly for effect "...is not. And until our dear wonderboy tires of her childish antics and ends this charade his hearts true motions, shall remain the knowledge of just he and the mudblood"

Tracy looked over at Annabella. "Oops sorry Annabella, whats our plan again"?

Bella cursed and smacked her head, why had she brought along a younger student! She should know better than that by now, she lowered her voice to a menacing hiss "It is the demeanor of a Slytherin to be clever, calculated and cutting in our remarks, place leverage were there is strain. Until you are capable just keep quiet, watch and learn! Reply only when spoken to". She turned back to the Gryffindors and the scornfull look slid back in place masking the look of abject horror at the younger slytherins lack of tact. It was her own fault, she'd tried to rush things, she would have to train the girl from the begining

Tracy kept quiet and watched Annabella. Tracy kept very quiet.

Ginny could hear everything the slytherins were saying and just ignored them. She knew better then to believe anything they were saying. Plus she had harry right beside her and she knew he wouldnt lie to her. "Harry you want to leave, Im getting tired of the slytherins and they're childish antics." She whispered so noonelse could hear. She took harrys hand and they walked out of there together. As they were almost out of the room she waved at the slytherins and then left the room giggling.

Annabella cursed, grabbed a piece of toast of the Gryffindor and swept out of the room

Tracy also got really mad. "Why did they have to leave"? Tracy said as she started walking out of the room also. "Maybe you can get them next time."

"They don't matter anyway," harry told Ginny as they were leaving. "They'd like to think they're so wonderful but little do they know..." he snickered. "I can't believe they'd stoop as low as that though! Pretty immature if you ask me and that one girl was a sixth year... sad." He rolled his eyes and sighed. "Slytherins...they never learn."
