Billy was enjoying his first few days in the highschool, graduating will be fun. Science class if going to be a hoot. Billy found out about a Bunsen Burner and it was lit infront of him. They had to do this experiment with melting ice and timing how long it took to melt...then it was going to boil? Billy didn't understand the project but he did it anyways. Billy was really smart, it always worked for his advantage.

Julie so happened to be partnered with Billy in this science experiment. She wasn't really paying attention as she could've cared less. Just as long as Billy knew what he was doing, she was fine. She spent most of the period just checking out her nails and filing them perfectly. Even when the bunsen burner was lit, she didn't take notice....she just carried on doing what she wished.

Billy looked at his lab partner...'Good for nothing' he thought to herself. Billy was blunt at home, but he wondered if he should still be as blunt here in school. Sure...why not! "You do know theres a project to be done. I'm pretty sure you would like to be paired with someone else, you can do some of the work too you know. Your nails will be there when you get home" He said to her bluntly.

Julie was taken aback. She wasn't usually told off like that. "Sorry.." she muttered as she put down her nail file. She was almost afraid to ask her next question, "Um, what exactly are we doing?"

He looked at her, and rose an eyebrow "Were you not paying attention" Billy sighed "Women.." He said under his breath. "Just keep track of the time, i'm getting tired of staring at this stop watch" He said to her as he wrote down another time.

Julie picked up the stopwatch, but she would not let him get away with his muttering under his breath. "I resent that...just ebcause I'm a woman doesn't mean I can't do stuff...I just wasn't paying attention when the teacher said it, thats all..." she quipped as she looked down at the stop watch.

Billy never used one before, but it seemed like it was going well for him. "All women are the same, worrying about what looks good. Looks aren't everything" He said to her bluntly.

Julie's eyes went from the bunsen burner to the stop watch and back again, repeatedly. Now that Billy had told her off, she really wanted to prove to him that she could work. Not for any reason other than her pride. "That's not true....Women care about other things...we just like to look good while we are worrying about all those other things." she said simply.
