Title: game of give and take.

Jennah Hamilton - September 13, 2008 04:11 AM (GMT)
Shopping was something Jennah had been doing less and less of lately. She had no idea why this was since she still adored shopping with a passion, but since she had a spare moment to herself today, she decided to ditch her alternative plans of rewatching her collected works of Humphrey Bogart, her favorite actor, and instead go to the mall to catch up on one of her favorite activities. That entire morning had gone by in a whirl of reading, watching TV (as always), sketching a portrait or two and trying to memorize a few lines for an upcoming audition. It sounds a lot more exciting than it actually is. Now, however, she was being un-lazy to a certain extent and decided to hit her closet, locating a suitable outfit of skinny jeans and an equally skinny red camisole, all designer, before stepping into enormous heels and heading out of the door.

Once she got there, however, she began to feel just a little bit lonely. Okay, fine, "just a little bit" is a pretty huge understatement. She felt incredibly lonely and needed to find someone to shop with. And who might that be? Why, Reece, of course! She hadn't seen him in what felt like an eternity and figured now would be a great time to call him up and invite him to tag along in the mall. Sending him a quick text message, she seated herself on a bench right outside the food court while she waited, iPod serenading her ears with a cheery Diana Ross song. What was with her love for all things retro lately? She had no idea.

Reece Morgan - September 27, 2008 11:50 PM (GMT)
Reece was sooo bored lately, not being allowed to dance or like...do too much at once, again, for him was torture, yet most people would describe what he did on a daily basis as torture. He worked, ran, danced, ate enough for about four fully grown men to eat in a week in about a day, and even went to teh gym sometimes all in one day, it was hectic. But it really was hsi own fault, people had threatened him, made him promise, etc not to dance, but of course he was stubborn and did, now he was paying for that.

He was in his room trying to aim Angel and do weights at the same time, which would have been quite funny to watch, had he not been texted at the same time and near dropping the weight, just about managing to catch himself, but somehow falling onto the floor? Well no one ever said the boy couldn't manage the impossible. Sighing he stood up, threw on a random black tank top, and threw a black shirt open on top with white drainpipes, and black and white vans, he really didn't care what he looked like right niow, sometimes it was amazing he could manage to dress himself. Sighing he texted her saying he was at the mall and waiting at the entrance cause he was too lazy to go looking.

Patience is a virtue. They teach you these kinds things in church. Now, while Jennah can be considered a fairly devoted Catholic (or, at least, she was one of those at one point in her life), she must have been asleep the day the Sunday School kids were lectured about the importance of waiting patiently or something since: 1) she was getting incredibly annoyed at having to wait for Reece, almost considering walking off and doing something else instead - but she would never do that, impatient as she may be! - and 2) all of this commotion happened even though she had only been waiting five minutes at the most. Dramatic, much? Yeah, yeah, it was to be expected, since this is Jennah we're talking about and being generic, like being patient, had never been her strong suit.

Then came a text from Reece and the corners of her mouth turned up in a warm smile, appreciative that her five-minute-long wait had come to an end. She made her way over to the entrance of the mall where he was apparently waiting and within a few minutes was right in front of him, her smile now even wider. "Hey, good looking," she said playfully. "Where have you been all my life?" She loved that she could say these things to friends, even though eavesdroppers would probably think she was insane.

Reece was not a patient person either, and was somehow always late, kind of funny how that happens? also slightly insane but you know that has no relavence right now. He had a habit of doing several things at once, then ending it all buy falling flat on his face...knee, same difference, sometimes funny to watch though. Awk well she was lucky he was even in the mood to attempt moving, but you know he needed knew clothes and let's face it, he didn't know what to buy for himself, he just let his girlfriends do it and fuilly trusted their opinions, not that he had the friends that when shopping you argued with.

Sighing already getting bored of standing waiting for her, he smirked as she came closer trying to keep a straight face at what she said, "Trying to get into your best friend pants prolly", he said bluntly, wow the eavesdroppers would have fun with that. Instead he grabbed her in a hug and kissed her cheek, "Ohhhh I missed you", he said letting her go before he like crushed her.

On the other hand, Jennah loved to shop. I mean, she practically lived for it. Any moment not spent wearing/buying/drooling-over nice clothes was a moment wasted, in her humble opinion, so a shopping trip wasn't something she was going to turn down, especially when it meant being able to shop for other people as well as herself. By the time she was done with him, Reece was going to be the best dressed male in all of Oakland. Hell, possibly in all of California!

It took a lot for Jennah to keep herself from laughing at what he said next, but somehow she managed. "Oh really? And did you succeed?" she asked, raising an eyebrow mock-curiously. Well, actually, she didn't really want to know, it was mostly for the benefit of those eavesdroppers that she asked. Let them be shocked! "I missed you too! You should start calling more often, you know," she recommended, pulling back from the hug with a huge smile and linking her arm in his as she tried to figure out where they would go first.

Reece Morgan - September 28, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Reece didn't mind shopping he just, wasn't good at the staying focused so when he shopped he forgot about what he came in for and bought stupid stuff like sparkly scarfs and shoes he didn't need, it was actually kind of funny, liek a small child attracted to sparkly things. Aw well, as long as Jennah remembered he wasn't a rich kid and he wouldn't be able to afford all teh stuff he guessed she would shove in his arms.

Reece was finding it nearly impossible to keep a straight face, but he actually blushed slightly at that, "Not yet...but I think he's doing it now just to annoy me", he pouted, seriuosuly he kept whining at Angel and no luck, "But s'okay cause I love him", he shrugged, yeah him and angel had talked about that...so weird. "I know, I'm sorry, I have a hectic schedule...had...I'll be ringing you everyother second until my knee is better", he laughed taking her arm and letting her decide, well there was no point him saying, he;d just drag them to the food court.

Jennah Hamilton - September 28, 2008 02:11 AM (GMT)
Right. Well, Jennah didn't often look at price tags. She grew up with more money than she knew what to do with, always spending spending spending and not caring about how much it added up to, hence why her wardrobe was so big and made up almost entirely of designer garments. Not that it mattered. Chances are, she'd end up paying for Reece anyway, simply because that's what she did and it's not like it would make a difference to her credit card account in the long run.

"Well, if he's not up for it, I'm here for you, babe," she said, adding in a wink to show that she was only joking. Got that, eavesdroppers? Only joking. For one thing, you have to look at sexualities here. For another, Jennah really wasn't a whore, unlike what Perez may or may not have written about her a while ago. Ahem. Moving on. "Aww, I love it when people are in love," she said with a small grin. They always got all smiley and happy, like Reece. It was adorable. "If it means I'll get more attention, maybe I should sabotage your knee and make sure in never gets better," she said conspiratorially - once again, only joking - before taking them into American Eagle. Not the best place but, hell, it would do for now.

Reece Morgan - September 28, 2008 02:21 AM (GMT)
See Reece did, he understood money, well he wasn't great with dollars still, and he bought other people way more than he should, but he grew up in a two bedroom flat in a council estate in London, where he bought everything from primark...and topman, but you know mostly primark. He did hate people buying him things, but a lot of the time he'd lose becauyse he wasn't great at arguing.

"Don't worry even when he is I'll still come to you", he smirked at her with a wink, he was obviously joking as well, may as well give those 'damn eavesdroppers' a show. Don't worry Reece only laughs at Perez and wonders what a sad life he must have to care so much about other peoples business, he didn't think Jennah was a whore, he believed she could do whatever the fuck she wanted and shouldn't be judged by people who had never met her. "Nooo, cause then you'll have to listen to me whine about boredom, how I can't dance or run, I'm barely allowed to use my moped in case of infection", he pouted, "How long could you put up with that?", he asked with a laugh.
