Had it been that long since Calvin actually ventured into a music store? He had been around music so much recently, but he hadn't himself bought anything for leisure. The music store had been calling his name for the very longest, and he had been reluctantly ignoring the tempting calls of ghostly store, all for work. Ignoring his inner desire just for money! How dare he ignore his soul's necessities like that, that's like a crime. Poor CJ, he had been so different now, but he couldn't bear ignoring the calls any longer.
Let's backtrack to where this emotional engulfing had begun. Calvin had gone off for the summer, venturing the nation in skateboarding tournaments, and opening up for small acts nationwide. His mixtapes had gained respect from him amongst the underground world of hip hop, everyone enjoying his alternative approach to hiphop, his focus on real life topics, and use of strong literature techniques has gained props from major artists. Having been invited to several venues and events as V.I.P has swallowed much of his time, and he had been missing his simple life in Oakland, and his sister Audrina, and this would be his first time in the music store.
Calvin currently creeped slowly into the store, pulling the hood on his sable black hoodie's hood over his eyes. He had not done this to truly cover his eyes, but instead out of mere forced habit. The store was dim, apparently someone had forgotten to turn the lights on bright, but CJ didn't mind much truly. His brown eyes scanned the aisles not too sure of what exactly he wanted, finally deciding to browse the Jazz artists. Soft hands brushed against the smooth plastic of the several cd's that sat on the shelves of the store, not finding anything of interest in the current jazz aisle. Placing his soft brown hands into the black denim jean pockets, a sigh managed to escape his lips, as he traversed to the alternative rock a bit displeased with the selection
