Grace calmly walked into the pet store despite the fact that even at the age of seventeen she still got excited over walking in there to see the cute little animals. She never really owned any animals through out her childhood. Her parents had always denied the family a pet. The closest she got to a pet was her sister Julie's dog Sammy who Grace only saw when she went over to her sister and brother in laws. But despite the fact that she couldn't have a pet Grace walked into the pet store anyhow to just look around and hoping she could find something that maybe her parents would accept?

Mike decided that he was going to visit his local pet store to pick up a package of pig ears for his two dogs, as Mike walked into the pet store he couldn’t help to notice a beautiful looking girl who was looking around the of the pet store . Mike decided that he was going to play it cool and collective, so he decided to go pick up his dogs treats first and then he walked to this girl where he introduced himself too. So Mike walked up to the girl and said, " Hi, my name is Mike, do you own have animals yourself?"

Grace had walked further into the pet store just minding her own business looking around with nothing but her thoughts to keep her entertained as she stopped at a rabbit cage. Her parents wouldn't mind a rabbit...would they? Grace quickly shook her head to that thought not realizing that there was some guy getting ready to put the moves on her. So when she heard a voice she turned around and raised an eyebrow at the guy. Not a lot of guys just randomly came out of no where to ask a question like that. "Uh...no I don't."

As Mike tried to talk to this girl, Mike felt that she wasnt getting good vibes from him so he try to talk to her some more in a very respectfull way "So you dont own any pets? Are you looking into getting one? I have two dogs and a cat myself, im here to pick up some dog treats for my two dogs. So you like rabbits?"

Grace raised an eyebrow at Mike a moment before letting her eyes fall back down on the rabbits. "I'm just looking around really. My parents never let me have any pets when I was growing up. Maybe I'm just in here hoping they'll let me have one now. Lucky you though. All those pets and stuff. Your parents must not mind animals or anything huh?" Grace asked before she was tucking a piece of lose hair behind her ear.

As Mike was talking to this girl, he couldnt help to notice that one of the Pet Stores associates who was wearing a blue t-shirt with stores logo on it was having a hard time with one of the pugs in the one the dog cages, he stated to the girl "My parents have always been very open to animals but they have always told me that it was alot of hard work to really keeping good care of them. If you look behind you, thats a great example of what im talking about. But I can see where your parents are coming, but maybe if you get something small to start off with you can work your way up."

Grace turned around for a moment and saw what he was talking about and only shook her head. "I don't think I would have as much trouble as what he's having over there. He's probably just fed up with dogs since he works with them." She replied before sighing softly. "It doesn't matter I've tried everything and my parents don't want to hear it. Though there's a prospect of my brother in law just buying me one for Christmas. He told he would a little while ago but I wouldn't be surprised if he forgot."

Mike told the girl "Dont give up, everything takes time, trust me, and if all else fails bug the living hell out of your brother in law." As he talks to her Mike remembers that he never got the girls name "Im sorry I never really introduced myself to you, my name is Mike Shane. So whats your name by the way?" he continues "Hey, once that Store associate is done taking care of the dog, (as he says that the dog snaps at the store associate) would you want me to grab him to let you look at some of these rabbits?"

Grace took a deep breath while looking up towards Mike since he was a bit taller then her. "Well...I'm still young right? I've got plenty of time." She joked slightly but then stopped and debated on telling this Mike her name. What harm could it do? "Grace. I'm Grace Adams." She simply answered but then winced a moment since she had heard the snap from the puppy from where she was standing. "Uh...forget about it. Its a tease anyhow."
