Trey had found himself incredibly bored lately, and with his injured knee it’s not like he could just swim off all of that restless energy. A super long time ago, he’d joked with Isabella about going to the zoo. It seemed like a perfect thing to do at the moment, because... well, he loved animals and he was bored. He grabbed his crutches and set out on the long walk to the city zoo.

Once he’d arrived, he purchased himself and ticket and one for Isabella to leave at will call. Trey entered the zoo and immediately found himself wandering to the section where the wolves were. They were his favorite animal, so why not? He sat on a nearby bench and pulled the green phone from his pocket.

“Isabellaaaaaaa. I’m at the zoo, near the wolf exhibit! Come rescue me from boredom. :]
By the way, you've got a ticket waiting at the front. No need to pay.”

Isabella was in her Audi just pulling up to Starbucks. Her phone buzzed and she read a text from Trey.

“Isabellaaaaaaa. I’m at the zoo, near the wolf exhibit! Come rescue me from boredom. :]
By the way, you've got a ticket waiting at the front. No need to pay.”

She laughed as she read it. That was nice of Trey to buy a ticket for her, she thought. She texted back saying, "Treyyyyyyyyyyyy. haha i would love to rescue you from boredom. I just pulled up to Starbucks, though. do you want me to get you anything?" She pressed send and put her phone away in her purse. She drove into the drive-through line. It was unusually long today. She turned up the air. It was extremely hot, and she was getting hot chocolate. The people working there would probably think she was retarted. Oh well. Hazelnut hot chocolate sounded really good to Isabella right now.

It didn’t take very long for Isabella to respond and he smiled as his eyes scanned across the message. “I’m more of a smoothie kind of guy, but if you feel like getting me addicted to caffeine bring me whatever you think will do the job!” Trey returned his phone to his pocket and stumbled to his feet with his crutches. He walked over to the wolf exhibit to get a closer look at them. A light smile traced across his face, but he couldn’t help it. He was a really big kid at times, and he just loved animals.

He’d already told Isabella that he was by the wolf exhibit, so he decided to remain where he was until she joined him. Hopefully it wouldn’t be much longer, because he was totally down for a nerdy zoo excursion day with his buddy.

((OOC: Sorry it took so long! I’m on vacation.))
