There was one thing that Kara loved more than Converses, that being live music. For her, it was just a thrill to be in an area cramped with people who wanted to appreciate what the performers were doing. Sounds weird, right? It was just the way that Kara was though. So yeah, she had bought her ticket and everything, and after waiting for a good amount of time, there was finally some entertainment. And the entertainment lasted for a good period of time, two or more hours. However, they were done, so naturally, people started to leave.
Grabbing her phone out of her pocket, she was sure that she had just heard it ring moments earlier, but she must have been daydreaming. Typical Kara. Shaking her head, the girl inserted the phone back into her pocket and then began to make her way towards the exit, people pushing and shoving behind her. "Idiots," she murmured, whilst moving out of the way so that everyone could get past, and then she would leave after them. It seemed fairly logical. Whipping her head around to check out the rest of the arena, Kara felt a small smile creep onto her face as she saw a particular person - Storm, just metres away. Now, considering it was loud inside the building, she figured that she would have to shout. "Hey, Storm!" Pushing herself onto her tiptoes, she waved a hand in the air, the crowd of people were trying to hide her almost too well.

A live concert in Oakland, only a few days after she just got back? Hell, Storm was there, being the singer she was. She loved music more than anything, so it was natural for her to be at the arena. And after the concert had ended, the blonde had moved from where she had been, but decided against leaving with all the crowd. They kept pushing and swearing and Storm couldn't keep her mouth shut anymore. But she tried.
Putting a frown on her face, she pulled back and stood a few feet away from the crazy people wanting to leave. "Stupid fanatics." She muttered under her breath as her attention got caught by someone waving their arm frantically. Turning her head and hearing her name, Storm was a bit surprised to see Kara, her teenage friend. Smiling widely, she started moving in her direction and when she got closer, gave the girl a hug. "Thank god I met someone sane around here."

And this was when things were starting to get tricky. The longer it took to get outside, the more impatient the crowd got. Infact, someone was so eager to be out in the open air that he stood on Kara's foot, and for the most part, it was rather painful. "Watch where you're going, asshole." Now, considering that there was so much noise, he didn't quite hear what she said, and that suited her just fine. Ducking under people, it took her a few minutes to actually get free from the crowd, but once she had done so, Kara could get to Storm easily.
Moving in her direction, she noticed that the older woman started to move as well, so clearly she had been noticed. Coming to a halt, she hugged the woman back and chuckled to herself. "Yeah, they were a bit ... insane." Stepping back, she grinned at the older woman. "I mean they could cause an injury or something. God." Shaking her head, she glanced up at Storm, she still looked the same, as great as ever. "But anyways, how are you? Besides the crazy fans pushing everyone out of the way."

Having reached the girl rather hard, Storm couldn't think of anything else except either get the hell out of there or wait until people left and stick around. She could easily do that, seeing as she too had performed here, so that wasn't a problem. The blonde looked at Kara and scrunched up her nose at her comments. "Insane is an understatement." She said, rolling her eyes as she remembered the ton of people that were there tonight.
"I've been well. Got back from Portland. But let's sit somewhere else." She suggested and took Kara's hand, pulling her away from the crowd. Reaching a place where the noise was lower and they could hear each other, Storm let go of her hand and smiled widely. "There, now I can talk and hear at the same time. How are you?" She asked, taking a deep breath and looking around.

These people were so vicious! However, she managed to get to Storm in one piece, so that was somewhat relieving. Chuckling at Storm's facial expression, Kara knew what she meant; they were like animals at a feeding ground. "More like psychotic? I mean, look at the pushing each other, you could get trampled on over there." Not a pretty thought. Shuddering slightly, she turned her attention away from the crowd, they weren't a concern of hers anymore.
"Oh, really?" Kara didn't actually know that Storm had been away, but either way it was always good to have her back. "Sitting somewhere else sounds like a brilliant idea." Following Storm's lead, she continued to walk until they came to a place in which the two could talk without a great amount of background noise. "Me? I'm good, you know ... sticking in at school, being a good little girl, as per usual." Of course, the good little girl thing was maybe a little sarcastic, or just plain sarcastic, and as for school, she tried to pay attention, but it sort of failed.
