Title: m·a·z·e
Description: Shawn Mason!!

Faye Tatsuro - July 20, 2008 02:12 AM (GMT)
Wandering around on a Saturday is something that Faye had become accustom to, especially considering she hated to be at home most of the time with the arguments that came from Setsuna and Eliza. Usually their arguments weren't even very important, not that Faye could really say anything about that. The majority of her own arguments with other people didn't really matter either. Still, she hated that they had to fight all the time. It was pretty much non-stop. And that was something she could complain about, because even Faye didn't argue constantly.

Anyway, she was just wandering around, not planning on doing anything in particular when she noticed she was walking by the tattoo place. Well, one of her besties, Shawn, worked there. Faye figured she may as well stop in to see if he was there. After all, she was in the neighborhood. She'd always wanted to use that phrase, so maybe she could in this situation.

Opening the door, she heard the little buzzer thing going off to alert the workers that she had entered the building. Faye didn't see Shawn anywhere, or anyone for that matter. "They must all be busy," she thought before she sat down in one of the chairs so she could wait. Even if Shawn wasn't there that day, it gave her someplace to be that had air conditioning. It was way too hot outside for her to want to walk around for much longer without a break somewhere cool.

Shawn Was hard at work that Saturday. He'd been scheduled to finish a guy's back piece, and to do a half sleeve also, tribal style. It was about 2:30 when he finally put the last bit of color in the tribal Sleeve, and was done for the day. Cleaning up, he walked the guy out front, and saw his friend Faye sitting in the lobby. Grinning he finished telling the man how to take care of his work, and when he was finally gone, Shawn outstretched his arms to the sides. " come give me a hug beautiful." he said with a grin.

Faye was one of his best friends, and probably one of the prettiest too. He liked hanging out with her, seeing as how they were so much a like. "I need a cigarette, wanna walk out back with me?" he asked sweetly.

A smile pretty much immediatly appeared on her face when Shawn walked out from the back. Faye waited until he was done telling the guy how to take care of the tattoo before she pretty much lunged at Shawn, hugging him tightly. "So you are here!" she exclaimed with a slight laugh. "How have you been? You never call me anymore!" she said with a slight pouting expression.

As soon as Shawn even mentioned the word cigarette Faye was totally all for getting one. She nodded and headed out towards the back of the building, pulling the red pack of her imported cigarettes from her pocket and placing one into her mouth. As she dug through her pocket for a lighter, she held the box out towards Shawn. "Want one?" she asked him with an innocent smile. Shawn was one of the only people she would share her cherry cigarettes with. To her, those things were precious, and she was very selective as to who she gave them out to.

Shawn laughed and caught her, keeping them both from falling. Laughing, he kissed her forehead. "Yup, I'm here...physically, but not mentally." He joked. Issuing a soft "aww" at her pouty face, he poked her nose playfully. " I do call, and besides phones work two ways babe." he teased, as he took her hand and led her out the back door.

When she offered him a cig he grinned, and shook his head. "nah that's ok hun, I've got my smooths" he replied as he pulled one out and placed it between his lips. Pulling out his zippo, he flipped it open, and lit her cigarette then lit his own. "So what's up?"

Faye Tatsuro - July 20, 2008 06:58 AM (GMT)
"Oh, they so do not!" Faye protested. "Phones only work one way," she said with a slight laugh. Okay, so maybe they did work both ways, and maybe she could have called Shawn. Still, she liked giving him a hard time. It was fun, he was for sure one of the coolest people that lived in Oakie-town, and Faye would argue that opinion any day.

She took a drag off of her cigarette after he had lit it, then exhaled the smoke, and shook her head slightly. "Not much. I just needed to get out of the house. Setsuna and Eliza were arguing again, as usual. Probably either hopped up on coke or alcohol," she stated as she rolled her eyes slightly. The reason she refused to do drugs or drink was because of the two of them. She hated to see her parents act like they did, and she had nothing else to blame it on other than the drugs and alcohol. It seemed like the most logical thing to place blame in. She was used to it though, and she wasn't looking for sympathy at all. She figured Shawn would know that though. He knew Faye well enough to know when she wanted sympathy and when she didn't.

Taking another drag from her cigarette she smiled slightly and sat down on the steps that lead to the back door. "What about you?" she asked looking up at him.
