The pet store was one of Sam's favourite places in Oakland. He'd come once and a while, and just stare at the kitties, or pet the hamsters, play with the ferrets. Sometimes he'd stay all day since he just loved the animals, and they loved him. He wondered why he'd never applied for a job there? So that's what he was doing, he stood at the counter nervously as the manager found an application form, and Sam took a spot in a chair beside where the dogs were held. There were just a few tiny poodles in one cage, and tiny Saint-Bernard puppies in the other.
Sam stuck his finger between the bars of the cage so he puppies could lick at his hands, and he smiled huge, but soon went back to writing on his application form. He was actually feeling pretty confident, since the workers basically knew him by name. Anything was better than working at Delias all day? He prayed to get this job.

Storm was really wanting to get a rabbitt lately, for whatever reason, she had just wanted one so badly. And now the urge was finally up. Here she was, walking down the street, popping her bubblegum, and walking to the pet store. She was wearing just normal torn skinnyjeans, with a brown Aerosmith tanktop, that had the logo, and name. She wore brownflipflops, her hair in two braids one on each shoulder, and then completed her outfit with jewlery. Storm wasn't expecting to meet anyone, just get a rabbitt, and then walk off happily with it. She opened the door, the bell dinging indicating that someone had entered, and maybe a possible buyer. Her eyes didn't catch the hint of Sam at first, she walked over to where the birds were, sticking her hand down in the little hutch, and picking up a parakeet. They were so cute.
After putting it down, she looked around for the rabbitts, and spotted Sam. "Hey, didn't expect to see a face here." She hummed, and smiled, then walked over to him, and raised an eyebrow, as she saw the form. "Well, trying to get a job here?" She questioned, blinking a few times, then blew a bubble, before sucking it back in. Storm continued chewing on it, trying to think of a way, that Sam could get his job quickyl, and successfully. She'd help anyone, well, any of her friends that is.

"Sex? Yes please!" Sam mumbled, with a giggle at the form, the cheap and old joke always got to him, even when he told it to himself. He was almost done the paperwork, but got bored of it for the time being, and set it down on the chair he was sitting on as he slid to the ground, slowly looking around, he unlocked the Saint-Bernard puppy cage and the tiny ball of fur jumped forward onto his lap, he hugged it close and let it lick his neck and face, it was so cute, and he wanted it so bad. But this dog would soon turn into a big, scary dog, and Sam didn't like those. Eeek.
Hearing the voice of none other than Storm, Sam looked up, holding the dog close to his chest, with the one arm that wasn't in a cast, he smiled his crooked and toothy smile. "Hi!" he called out, enthusiastically. He glanced toward the paperwork, and looked back up at the blonde girl with a nod. "Yeah, anywhere's better than the mall. I like it here alot." he told her with a nod. "I hope I get it." he said as he looked down at the tiny dog in his lap. He nuzzled his nose against it's head, his hair falling to either side, looking it it would swallow the dog any second.

Storm laughed a bit, as Sam played with the little puppy. He was so childish sometimes, but of course, he was sixteen, and well, Storm herself was twenty years old, and she was basically a child herself at heart. Sometimes. She nodded, as he responded to her, and she shoved her hands in her pockets, looking back to all the other animals, trying to figure out what color rabbitt she wanted. Storm chewed on her gum so more, and sighed a bit. She was still deciding on what kind of rabbitt and such, she knew she wnted a baby,s o that she could watch it grow up, she always found that cute. "Well..im here basically looking for a cute baby rabbitt, either black, or black and white." She stated, and nodded a bit smiling. Storm turned on her heel, and headed back over to all the hutches, and little small animals, running around in them.
As she walked back over to everything, Storm nodded her head in the direction of where she was heading to Sam, basically trying to tell him to get his ass over here. Circling the small little things, she finally found the rabbitts, the adults, and the babies, Storm instantly, gave an 'awww', and looked into the baby rabbitts hutch, and saw a black one. No black&white one, that kind of made her sad. But oh well, she'd take what she could get. "Can you help me find a cage and everything else I need?" She questioned to Sam, hopefully he'd get the fact that she was trying to help him out here, and mkae a good impression on the people.

Sam could be childish, but he could also be extremely mature. But right now, he just wanted to give his love to anyone who would take it, and at this second it was the puppy in his lap. He'd always loved animals, mostly, he missed riding horses with his mother so many summers ago. He made a mental note to ask her about that someday, but anyways, back to his. Everyone was childish sometimes, even the eldest and most wise of all of us. He tilted his head to the side as she talked and he nodded, putting the puppy away reluctantly, but he'd be sure to come back soon enough. He got to his feet and followed her towards the rabbit cages, more at the front of the store. "There's more up here." he told her, when she seemed dissapointed that there were none in the colours she wanted.
"That's Charlotte, and that's Magenta." he told her as he pointed to some rabbits. They were both black and white spotted, but one had a whole black head, that was clearly Magenta. "Charlotte's a little bit older. She's kinda mean, but Magenta is really calm, she doesn't bite." he told Storm with a giggle, "I don't know. That's my input." he told her before following her over to the cages, holding his cast with his unbroken arm. He glanced at the manager, who was watching the situation, and coyly followed Storm towards the cage area. "Do you want like, an outdoor cage, or inside?" he asked her silently.

"Hmm...i was thinking maybe something along the lines of a black Dwarf Rabbit?" She questioned, and then looked around, seeing a little box of them. She smiled, they were so cute, like baby rabbits that would never grow up, and never stop being cute. "Hmm.." After he asked the question, Storm instantly knew she wanted an inside cage, no way she'd leave the rabbit outside her apartment to possbily get eaten or some shit. That'd just make her sad, and also, she wanted to watch her bunny hop around the apartment and such. "Inside." She declared, and smiled at Sam, he was one of her good friends, and she was there for him, as he wasthere for her. So of course, she'd help him try and get a job here, she popped her gum again, and a bird sqwaked, she wasn't sure if it was in response to her gum smacking or not, so she just chewed it, trying not to pop it. "I want a nice big one, that is kinda deep, so that none of the bedding and such goes everywhere..also im going to need some chewies, bedding, duh, food, dishes, a waterbottle, and....a little house thing. and i think that might be it?" She questioned, and then walked back over to the Dwarf Rabbits.
Storm looked through them, and then saw a small black one with some brown undertone, she aww'd, and grabbed it. Putting it in Sam's face, and smiling. "Look at how cute..he or she...is!!" She exclaimed, and hugged the bunny, it didn't move, or freak out, that was a good thing. Storm would be hugging that rabbit all the time, and she didn't want it to be trying to run away. She smiled, and scratched behind its ears, instantly knowing, that that was the rabbit she would want. "Okay, I sooooo want this one. now i just need...all the other stuff." She exclaimed, and hugged the rabbit more. Giving it a small kiss on the head, and then smiled at Sam. "Oh yea, i have to sign your cast, dont let me forget."

Sam laughed, "Okay, okay. Then you should get this." he told her as they strolled over to the rodent department. "It's like a rabbit starter kit?" he said as he stared at the price, it was pretty cheapish. "It's got all the stuff you need, and it comes with a free rabbit." he laugh, and pointed to the bunny she held in her hands, before she shoved it in his face. "That's Manuella!" she exclaimed. Of course, he knew all the names of the rabbits. He had helped name alot of them. "You can rename her, of course." he nodded.
"If you train them right, you can let them lose around the house?" he told her. "Like, if it's just an apartment. Stairs are bad." he told her and crossed his arms with what he could. "So I guess you're set?" he told her and looked towards the counter. The manager was gone, but Sam jumped as the girl came up behind him with his very own name tag. He squealed. "Yes!" He mouthed a 'thank you' to Storm before picking up the small cage set and bringing it towards the counter.
