Alex posted something on the character myspaces because she can't get on HSRP. I can so I'm posting what she posted for those who can still get on HSRP.

It's weird.
I'm on my parents computer and I got on here fine.
Maybe I need to restart my computer and see what happens.

It wasn't working for me for the longest time. Since last night. Then I deleted the cookies on my computer.. and it started to work! I have no idea if the deletion of the cookies had anything to do with it working or not though.

Yeah, I figured that's probably what I'm gonna have to do, too.
Because if I delete that then my IP will change, which I'm thinking is how it connected on my parents computer because it's a different IP than mine.
But, I restarted my computer and changed the number it dials so I'm hoping it'll change the IP and I can log on with my comp.
If not then I'll have to delete internet files, cookies, and clean up everything.

as of right now, clearing the cookies/ internet files didn't work. AOL just needs to switch me to a new IP, i think.

im thinking that its probably just the fact that the server is sucking majorly?
'cause like.... idfk but it works and then doesn't for me.
plus, don't you have dial-up?
or if you call AOL when a site doesn't work they usually tell you how to fix it?
i remember when i used to have that problem a lot. :]

I cleared my history, cookies, and internet files, & then did the disk cleanup thing on my comp and that worked.
So I'm going to send out e-mails explaining to everyone what's going on and how to fix it, and then I might post again on myspace.
Because if I'm having this problem then I'm sure others might, too.

Whitney aka Andy just told me she couldn't send PM's so I told her I'd try to send her one?
It's showing the 'Page Cannot Be displayed' when I click on Inbox.

Well when I go to inbox it loads extremely slow. And whenever I get pms from peopleI get two of the same pm

I got the PM thing last at about 1 AM today,
and the site was just being a bitch on AOL, so I switched to Safari and it's working pretty well.

I'm on AOL and it hasn't given me any probelms yet besides going really slow at first now its fine. Surprisingly, whenever theres a probelm my computer gets it first lmfao.
Invisionfree needs to fix the issue fast.

The PMS weren't working for me last night, either. I haven't tried them today though. And last night it wouldn't load for me for like a half hour.

And when I do, it jumps to board index and doesn't post.
And I can't send long PMs, either.

Thank god. I tried it with my Mac, didn't work.
I tried to get on 'invisionfree.com' and that didn't even work.
&then I got on my mom's pc and it worked.
I 'x'ed out the screen, tried to get back on.
And it didn't work. All night I was trying to figure it out x.x

Something just shut down and they had a backup going or something? Which is why it didn't effect everyone at the same time. Or so that's what I read early yesterday morning.

So far I haven't had any problems with HSRP. But, I still can't get to the main support page or the skinzone. Maybe it's effecting those on domains more? I have no idea.
Yesterday, it didn't work all morning. Then from 1 to 8pm it was just random, and wouldn't let me click on like the chat threads, this thread, and PM's wouldn't work, and then took forever to send replies.

But, I'm going to say this just so you guys can be on the safe side.
All your bios, plots, etc? Save them now. Save post counts if that matters to you, so that way if something happens? You guys don't lose anything. I figured everything would be 100% great this morning, but it's not. So just be on the safe side and save all your stuff, :]
I'll probably make a thread about it if it's still fucked up today.

Also, if something happens, make sure you have contact with someone on this board who will know what's going on, that way you don't lose HSRP.

The main site is still not working, neither is skinzone. They said one of their main generators caught fire and the fire department didn't allow them to use a back up? Because of the danger and stuff.

However, they said nobody lost any data, whatsoever. Everything that's on the servers, boards, they said it's all safe. And that nobody will lose anything. They were still trying to fix it this morning when I got up, but they couldn't say when it was going to work fine again.

I was reading something yesterday about the servers wherever they are catching on fire, I have no clue how true or reliable that would be though since I'm pretty sure I imagined it.

I haven't read anything about fire. Just that it shut down or whatever.
But since you both said that it might be true, and they just said shut down because it's easier.

I would still save all of your stuff. I'm sure it's possible that some boards will lose something. Lets hope not, but I really don't want to lose all my bios and stuff.

Well, it was what said in the announcement they made on another board. But not the servers caught fire, just uhm... -searches- their electrical gear shorted, causing an explosion. No one was injured and no servers were damaged or lost.

HSRP works fine for me now. Just the main site and skinzone aren't.
