Her Jacob is... at the hospital. But why? He's perfectly healthy, and he has no family and friends sick or anythign of that matter. So.. then why would Jacob be in such a.. HEALTHY place? Oh, no big reason.. he just came to read to the children. He usually does. It really brightens their moods. SOmetimes he reads, other times he does magic tricks, or makes them balloon animals. Today, he was scheduled down to help tutor some of the kids. Since they wouldn't be returning to school.. they needed to stay caught up.

Guy did have a lot of his father in him, and his sister May was just like there mother. Guy was a all around nice guy there for you when you need a hand, but he did have a temper on him. There was things about Guy that people did not think were like him. That he did like kids and being nice to them. The one thing his mother and father asked him to do, was if he was going to be on his own and doing his music thing that he had to sing to the kids at the hospital. So there he was in the kids room, he had a little portable mic and speakers, he was singing kids songs to them since they would have no idea what his music was. First was old mcdonald now was. Then a girl asked him to sing the sun will come tomorrow, and he did right now the best he could.

Jacob heard singing, and curiously peeked his head into the room that it was coming from. The children's room. He looked at his watch. "Shit." He muttered to himself. He was early, and the rpevious volunteer hadn't left yet. He sighed, but decided he would quietly slip inside and wait patiently along the back wall. After listening for a few minutes.. he noticed that the guy had a pretty good singign voice.. maybe he was in a band...

Guy was fine with kids for the most part he did like then. But he was not like superman they got on his nerves at times, when they ran around to much or would just not shut up and stuff. But the kids at the hospital were great, the were all very nice and well behaved. He looked up to all the kids on how could deal with being so sick and stuff. But here he was singing to them, just making them smile was making his day. He noticed another young man walk into the room, he smiled a moment. He was thinking that he was here for the kids too and that was nice of him. He was glad that others could spend their time helping the kids that need it out.

Jacob just stood near the back wall.. just as he planned to do. Watching the kids have a great time. How could he torture them with school-work after something like this? But.. sadly he had to. They needed their education, and because they couldn't go to school.. they had to get caught up SOMEEHOW. So, Jacob would have to play the bad-guy today. Or at least that's what the kid's would think of him. Everyone knew that homework is to kids, as kyryptonite is to Superman.

Last thing he wanted to do was leave, he was having a good time sing to the kids. They did seem to enjoy what he was doing and he was glad that he could make them smile. But going in and making them smile was not all they needed, they did need their education too and he knew that. So he finished up the song and smiled at the kids and said he had to go and he would be back. Then he grabbed his mic and portable speaker and walked to the backside f the room.

Jason was beginning to doze, and as his head snapped back up, he noticed the guy who was singing was walking toward him. Jacob smiled. Maybe this guy would like to help with the kids tutoring. Then the task would get done twice as fast.. although Jacob couldn't just ask him.. he did his share, he sang, and Jacob has to teach. Sighing, Jascob extended his hand. "The name is Jacob. Jacob Deane."

He was planning on leaving after this and just finding something else to do. He was thinking to go out to lunch and get something to eat. He looked up to see the other young man he smiled at him and shook his hand. "I am Guy Reeves" he said with a smile as he shook his hand and let it go. "you here for the kids too? he asked. He was sure he was since he was not with one of the kids like they were family, and if he was sick he was to old to be in the kids area.

Jacob smiled. "Yeah... I've come to tutor them. It's gonna break their hearts.. but it HAS to get done." Jacob looked around at the smiling faces of the youngsters, and laughed. "It does have to get done though... they don't want to fall TOO far behind. And there's no telling how long some of them will be here."
