The cafeteria was always kind of crowded around this hour, but naturally, because it was lunch time. Andie didn't go off campus for lunch. She was always too busy with things school related. The ironic thing was that she brought her own lunch, so some would ask why she put up with the calamity of the cafeteria. Andie would say it's because she loved the social aspects of it. You couldn't see a bunch of freshmen start a tater-tot fight in the library, now could you? Maybe, but perhaps not.
"Oh my god!" exclaimed Andie quietly to herself. She was reading one of those teen gossip magazines, not that she was really into that kind of thing but it'd been a while since she'd read one. She looked really into it today and no one had stopped to talk to her yet, although occasionally she'd look up and smile at people. None of her friends were in sight and the people sitting at the end of this table were playing with decks of YuGiOh cards. Not really her thing.

Kami decided to just stay at the school that day instead of going out to eat with one of her friends. Cassie and Liz both called her to see if she wanted to but she decided to stay in. She had alot of homework and then would have swim practice right afterwards, soooo she decided to get a lunch at school and then hit the books.
She grinned at a girl by the was reading a tean magazine. "Hi, mind if I sit by you? You look like you're reading something pretty interesting!" She grinned.

Andie looked up from her magazine and smiled broadly at the girl standing before her. She always liked meeting new people and seeing as how the gamer-nerds on the other side of the table weren’t going to offer her any company this lunch, she’d take the next person, not that Andie wouldn’t have wanted to speak with this girl in a normal situation.
“Hey! Sure, take a seat. I don’t mind at all.” Andie moved her stuff around on the table to give the other girl some space. “And yes!” She gestured to her magazine. “I’m reading those most embarrassing stories, and gosh, the things some people do just astounds me.” Andie was the type of person to laugh those kinds of situations off when they happened to her, mostly... She was forever clumsy; a little too much spunk perhaps. “I’m Andie, by the way. I think I’ve seen you around?” She outstretched her hand to give the girl to shake. Not many people still greeted by handshake, but Andie liked to do things her own way.

Kami smiled back at Andie and took her hand in a shake. "Yea, I think you're friends with another friend of mine to...Cassie?" She asked Andie.
She laughed a bit when she heard what she was reading in the magaizine. "yea, I think thats my favorite part in there to read. Some people like that are so retarded I can't really believe most of it that they do." She read on the outside of the cover, and yes, it had brittany spears on it. "She's has t be the stupidest person I swear...Brittany Spears needs a life." Kami said rolling her eyes a bit.

“You’re friends with Cassie? She’s like…my twin, kind of,” laughed Andie. She and Cassie went waaaay back. If Kami was a friend of Cassie’s then that gave Andie even more prerogative to talk to this girl.
Andie dug into her bag and pulled out a homemade ham and cheese sandwich. First grade? Well, Andie didn’t care what people thought of her. If she wanted a sandwich then she’d bring her own damn sandwich.
Kami made a comment about the ‘retarded’ people in the magazines. Andie grinned. “Yeah, but it’s happens you know. But if some of that stuff happened to me I wouldn’t want to tell everyone about it.” She took a bite and chewed slowly, letting Kami have a look at the magazine.
“I used to love Britney. I knew the whole dance routine for Hit Me Baby One More Time.” Andie laughed. “Those were the days. I made Cassie learn too. But I guess everyone changes in time, you know? But I don't think shaving your head should be part of that maturing process. ” Andie giggled and took another bite of her sandwich. She'd put a thin layer of mustard on both sides of bread, so it was especially zingy.

Kami had gotten a salad from the cafateria with an apple and a bottle of water and started to eat it looking at Andie's magazine with her. "Yea, I don't think so either. If I shaved my head, oh my god, I think I'd die of embarrassment. It took way to long to grow these pretty locks!" She laughed. IT had actually. Her hair didn't grow very fast. So she was happy with the hair she had, she wouldn't dare.
"Oh god, I can honestly see Cassie dancing to that song to! Thats awesome!! haha" She laughed. "Have you seen Cassie today? I've not seen her yet today. Surprises me cause she'd at least call me!" She said. grinning over at Andie and thankful they actually did have something in comman. Cassie! "An awesome girl she is. I'm glad I decided to move here. I almost didn't!" She said shockingly thinking about it. And was thankful her parents pretty much made her go.

“The only way I’d ever shave my head, is if it was for charity or something….” Actually, Andie would have to think about that. She hummed to herself, narrowing her eyes a little (at nothing in particular) as she thought about different charities and how far she’d ever go to support one. She was a determined girl, but what would she be like bald!?
Andie took another bite of her sandwich, also taking a quick look at what Kami was eating. It seemed like a nice and healthy lunch. Andie wasn’t a health nut though. No, she ate far too much candy for that. “I haven’t seen Cassie since this morning when I high-fived her in the hallway on my way to English.” Cause they were just so badass like that. “Where…did you move from?”
Kami Lambert - May 7, 2008 07:48 PM (GMT)
Kam laughed a bit, "Charity work, do you do alot of that? I can honestlys say I've not done a whole lot except for sports and such." She said. Laughing a bit to, "So, how's that sandwich of yours? Looks a bit better then my salad that is!" She giggled.
"I actually have moved from Michigan, a small town called grandview! Pretty cool. Sucks though cause i couldn't do anything wrong there without everyone in the damned town knowing it!!!" She grinned a bit at Andie.
