Destiny was sitting on the hospital bed, waiting for the doctor to show up. The nurses had already been in to take down her information, and she just prayed that her parents wouldn't find out soon. Later, OK, but so soon? She'd go crazy. Mainly from her mother because she would probably want her to have an abortion. Destiny wasn't really sure if she'd want that, actually, she didn't want an abortion. She had been thinking it over, and she actually wanted to keep the baby. Destiny hasn't talked it over with Kevin yet, but she would sooner or later, well, maybe when he brought the subject up. That's when they'll discuss what each other wanted, and then decide on keeping the child or not. It was after all, a good thing she was pregnant... She wasn't really sure if she'd be able to or not, because later on in life, she would have wanted a child and would have been upset if she couldn't have children. But today, they were in the hospital to find out what was going on. To see if there was something wrong with the child or not.

Kevin was late, he ju7st couldn't get out of his class early so he had no choice but to stay for the whol thing. Kevin made his way out of the elevator and went to the front desk. " hi, I'm looking for my girlfriend, Destiny Duke..." he said to the women sitting behind the desk.

" Oh yes, I'm guessing you're the father?" The lady asked giving him a slightly hard glare. Kevin nodded. " Room 15, just down the hall and too your left." The women said.

" Thanks." Kevin said before he made his way to Destiny's room. Kevin opened the door and made his way inside, closing the door behind him. Kevin looked at Destiny and gave her a smile before he made his way over to her and lightly kissed her forehead, " Hey, sorry I'm late." he said as he put his bag down on the floor. Kevin gently grabbed her hand and placed his free hand lightly on her head.

Destiny looked at Kevin when he walked in and smiled. She was glad that he could make it. Not that she thought he wouldn't come, because she hasn't been there long. At least, she didn't think so. "Don't worry about it, I haven't been here long." she told him. Destiny hugged him and held him tightly to her, as if she didn't want to let go. She was really worried at the moment, and she didn't know what to do when the doctor came in to ask some questions. Whenever that'll be. "I'm just glad you could get here." she whispered and kissed his cheek. She let go of him and gave a slight smile this time, but you could tell it was a nervous one.

Kevin lightly kissed her forehead once more, " Hey, there's no way I'm make you go through this on your own." Kevin whispered to her. He lightly squeezed her hand. Kevin noticed and nervous smile she gave him, " Hey, just try to stay calm ok, it'll be ok no matter what happens." Kevin said kissing the back of her hand gently. Kevin heard the door open and he looked over and watched as the doctor walked in and closed the door behind him.

Destiny looked at the doctor and sighed to herself, hoping it wasn't audible. She wasn't really ready to see if something was wrong, because if there was, she didn't know how she'd be able to cope with it. And now she waits for the doctor to begin speaking. Asking her questions, telling her what he'd have to do to find out what's wrong. She just didn't feel like speaking right now.

"You must be Destiny... Can you tell me what's going on with you today?" he asked her.

Destiny looked at Kevin and sighed before looking back at the doctor. "I've been having really bad stomach pains, along with slight fevers..." she told him.

Kevin sat down on the edge of Destiny's bed, still holding onto her hand. he looked between the two as they talked. Kevin ran his free hand through his hair as the doctor looked at him, " You must be the father?" The doctor asked him. Kevin nodded, " Yeah, I'm Kevin Shaver." Kevin said to him, he watched as the doctor gave him a slightly disapproving look, almost as if it was all kevin's Fault that destiny was in this situation. kevin glared at the man for a moment before he looked down at his and destiny's joined hands. The doctor turned back to destiny to continue asking her questions.

Destiny still looked at the doctor, even when he spoke to Kevin. She wasn't sure what to answer to the next question. "And how long have you been pregnant?" he asked her. Destiny looked down at the floor and thought about it. She wasn't really sure. She had just found out not too long ago. "I don't know." she told him. "All right, well, we're going to have to do some tests before we can figure out exactly what's wrong. I'll be back in a couple of minutes." The doctor left and Destiny relaxed a bit. She looked at Kevin. "Couple minutes me ass." she said. Doctors never come back when they say they'll be back. It's not like they have a choice or anything, but they should try not to make people wait longer than what they told them. It's disappointing.

Kevin watched as the doctor left. He looked ver at Destiny once more and tucked some hair behind her ear, " Thats the second durty look someone had given me since I got here." Kevin said to her, frowning slightly. Kevin sighed and shifted around slightly, he just wanted to find out what was wrong and get the hell out off there.

"Usually people do give those looks because of the ages... I actually had several old women give me dirty looks after I told the nurse out there what was wrong with me... It was like they were going to gang up on me and give me a fifty year lecture on the whole thing." she told him. "I felt really uneasy, I almost left just to get out of here..." Destiny added. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and then waited for him to say something. Anything that would get them off this subject at the moment. She felt bad enough that she wasn't feeling good, and if anything was wrong with the baby, it'd probably be her fault anyway because of all the stress she put on herself, especially in Germany.

Kevin listened to her and nodded slightly. " I guess its kind of expected huh I mean we're only 17." Kevin said, " Oh Well, who cares what they think." Kevin said.

"Yeah, seventeen almost eighteen now... We're basically adults and can make our own decisions..." she told him. Destiny played with her fingers for a bit before looking at Kevin again. "But then again, some people think that eighteen year olds aren't adults, they think adults are those who are older than twenty at least." she added. "But, I don't care... Sometimes I think age is just a number to get some people in trouble." she shrugged and tried to smile. But she couldn't. She hated it when people judged her, but sometimes, it didn't matter...

" Yeah, lets just forget about what people think, it shouldn't matter to us." Kevin said to her, he smiled at her and lightly lissed her forehead before he grabbed a chair and pulled it over to the side of the bed before he sat down and once again took her hand. A half hour to an hour later the door opened and the doctor walked back into the room, Kevin sat up a little straighter.

Destiny actually smiled at Kevin when he kissed her forehead and was glad that he was there. She wouldn't be able to do this alone. Later, when the door opened, she saw one of the nurses walk into the room and smile. This really wasn't a time for other people to smile at her, unless it was Kevin to cheer her up or something. "Destiny, we're going to have to run some tests on you now. Just to see if there's an infection." she said. The nurse was holding a cup and Destiny rolled her eyes. "Do you think you could pee in this cup for us before we try anything else?" she asked Destiny. Destiny nodded and took the cup from the nurse. She really hated peeing in cups, but at least it will help her find out what's wrong. She went to the bathroom down the hall and did what she needed to do, took the cup back to the nurse and sat down on the bed once again. It wasn't really that hard, mainly if you haven't peed for an hour and you had to go really bad by that time.

Kevin listened to the nurse and decided to wait for Destiny in the room while she went to the washroom. Honestly, Kevin had a bit of a bad feeling about this, there wasn't a particular reason why, its just the way his stomach turned and flipped around, Kevin closed his eyes and lied his head back against the back of the chair.

Destiny pulled on Kevin's arm slightly to make him look at her. "What if something is wrong with the baby?" she asked him curiously. "What are we going to do about it? What if we lose it?" Destiny asked the questions she knew they both were thinking. Well, at least, she thinks Kevin was thinking the same thing. "Honestly, I don't want anything to happen to this baby because I want a family... But if something does happen, I wouldn't know what to do with myself." she added. Destiny was really worried now, you could tell by her voice.

" Listen to me..." Kevin said to her, he looked her right in the eyes and gently squeezed her hand, trying to reassure her, " What ever happens we'll get through it ok, I'll be there for you whenever you need me, I promise." Kevin said, he touched his forehead to hers and just stayed like that, wanting to be close to her.

Destiny listened to him and believed him. Everything he said she believed. Even when she wasn't completely sure herself, he always reassured her into believing. Kevin had this effect on her all the time. She liked that about him. Destiny looked into his eyes and then closed her own. "All right." she whispered and then kissed him lightly on the lips. Destiny felt safe with Kevin, she felt that everything will be all right and that nothing could go wrong, but just deep down, she knew something was wrong. But she just couldn't pull herself to bring that doubt back up, not when Kevin was so sure that everything was all right.
