Title: Me? Detention? Is That French For Honor Society?
Description: Tagged:: Aaron

Chaos Ridge - October 8, 2007 04:08 PM (GMT)
Alright so Chaos wasn't the kind of guy that got detention often. In fact, he'd never had detention in his life. Why had he gotten it? For refusing to disect a frog. He had a thing against cutting up an innocent animal even if it was already dead. He'd refused to do the simulation then wanted him to do online as well. So that's how he ened up on his way to his now dreaded science room. As he walked through the empty hall way he felt like his heart had jumped into his throat and his stomach was in knots. He tried not to make this obvious on his face though.

Chewing on his lip, he opened the door slowly and looked around at the many unfamiliar faces of the students in his science teacher's detention. For some reason Chaos doubted they were in there for the same reason he was. Either way if his mom heard about this he was dead meat. He walked over to an empty seat and sat down, keeping his eyes aiming at the floor or the desk top. If he looked up who knew whose eye he might catch.

Aaron Hall - October 8, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
"Ah, Mr Hall. How nice of you to grace us with your presence... ten minutes late,"

"Glad to be here, Sir," Aaron replied, not even looking at the teacher as he walked into the classroom, let alone say sorry.

"It's bad enough you turn up late to lessons, if you turn up at all, but can you at least try to turn up to detentions on time?"

"Mmm, I'll set my alarm next time," came his replied, obviously that he couldn't care less. He looked around briefly at his buddies for the next hour or so, his eyes only recognising one face. Chaos. He always remembered him because of the awesome name... and pretty awesome face. Damnit, Aaron, get your head out of the gutter. Guys don't have awesome faces, remember? he mentally scolded himself as he took a seat directly in front of Chaos.

The teacher set the assignment: lines. One thousand lines, or as close as you could get to there, reading 'I will activly try not to be in detention again'. Aaron laughed out loud at this instruction, earning him a stern look from the teacher as he placed a pen and paper in front of Aaron. He informed them all that he would be in his office that adjoined the classroom, and that they were not to talk, and then left them to it. For a few moments Aaron was silent, looking around at everyone in the room, rolling his eyes as they dilligently began work on their lines. He then stood up, turning around in his seat so he faced the wrong way in it, looking straight at Chaos.

"What deadly sin did you commit to get stuck in here?"

Chaos Ridge - October 8, 2007 04:38 PM (GMT)
As soon as they were given the line they were supposed to write for the next hour or so Chaos got to work. His handwriting wasn't very neat at all since he was rushing through it. He had the high hopes that if he finished this he could start on his other homework as well. Of course one thousand lines was more than he knew he could ever manage to do in even a day. Normally, he wrote very neatly but now his handwriting was hardly legable not that he really cared at the moment.

He'd had it written almost twenty times when he heard someone talking to him. He stopped and looked up for a moment to see Aaron. Smiling slightly he realized that he hadn't even noticed him walk into the classroom. "I refused to disect a frog or do the simulation." he said after a second of trying to figure out how to make it sound less . . . minor. "How about you?" He'd heard many things about Aaron and knew he got into trouble often. Well, at least more often then he did. So he almost felt he had to make what he did sound worse so that he wouldn't think he was a softie or anything like that. Sure, you could consider it that he wanted to impress him. After all if there was a cute guy near by Chaos was known to try and impress them. Especially if they were talking to him.

Aaron Hall - October 8, 2007 06:16 PM (GMT)
"I refused to disect a frog or do the simulation."

"Right... yeah, you tell 'em. Really stick it to the man," Aaron replied, not really getting what the problem with that was. For one, why the hell did Chaos refuse to do even the sim, and secondly... why did the faculty care? What was the big deal? Ah well, whatever.

"How about you?"

"Today it was..." he held out a hand, starting to count off the reasons on his fingers, "Telling that new PE teacher to go fuck herself, not giving in any Sociology work since the beginning of the year, skipping two classes, and getting caught smoking in the bathrooms...again,"

All in all, quite a quiet day by his standards. He hadn't gotten into any physical fights, he was sober, and he hadn't broken anything. He'd been positively well behaved and yet they still gave him detention!

"Don't even bother rushing it," he added, looking at the scrawl across Chaos' page, "Even if you finish all one thousand, she just gives you a thousand more to do. You have to do the whole hour regardless."

Reaching back to his own desk, he screws up the sheets of paper and throws them across the heads of the detentionees and at the teachers office door. The pen soon follows it. Whether she didn't notice or was so used to it that she ignored it was impossible to tell, but the door remained firmly shut. Most of the teachers were used to Aaron playing up. They had adopted the 'if you ignore it, it'll stop' technique. It didn't really work.

With a sigh, Aaron reached into his bag and pulled out an old plastic coke bottle. It;s age was apparent by the fact the ink on the label was starting to wear off, its only recognisable traits being the fact that it was still only red and white; coke colours. Whatever was in it, however, certainly wasn't coke. Not 100% coke anyway. Taking a long draught from the bottle, he sighed audibly once he had swallowed, offering the bottle to Chaos.

"Helps the time pass," he insisted.

Chaos Ridge - October 8, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
Chaos looked down at his paper and sighed a little, realizing he had wasted a few minutes of his life doing something this stupid. He shrugged and picked up the paper then leaned over to shove it in his bookbag. When he popped back up he realized that Aaron was offering him a bottle of what looked like coke. Something about it told him that couldn't be what it really was though.

He put his hand up and shook his head. "Umm . . . no thanks. I'm fine." he said. Chaos wasn't really into the drug scene. Drinking was different though. He drank when he was with his friends and at parties and junk but it wasn't that often. The only time he drank was socially and he knew his limits very well as did most of the people he hung out with. After a few shots and maybe a beer or two he was easily wasted and could hardly stand on his own. That just proved he wasn't much or a drinker though.

Aaron Hall - October 8, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
"Suit yourself. Didn't realise you were one of those 'straight edge' types..." Aaron said, taking another heavy swig, his face relaxing as he did so as he screwed the lid back onto the bottle and replaced it into his bag.

Reemerging, he leant halfway over Chaos' desk, scrutinising the boys face. He didn't look like some straight-edge nerd, yet here he was refusing a drink, trying to scribble down his lines as fast as possible... no doubt to get out of here and get started on his homework or some shit. This guy needed to get a life, obviously.

...Aaron liked a challenge.

"Let's skip," he said with a devilish smirk, his voice dropping so none of the rest of the students could overheard, "He never comes out until the end of the session anyways. I'll drag you out, and everyone here can see it happen and they'll just blame it all on me. We get a free afternoon, and you get no consequences,"

It was a foolproof plan. All the remaining students would assume Aaron was just bullying Chaos into following him, and would tell the teacher just that. Aaron always found a way into detention anyway, so it wasn't much of a deterrent anyway.

"C'mon, you don't wanna be here any more than I do. Just... live a little,"

Chaos Ridge - October 8, 2007 07:13 PM (GMT)
Chaos stared back at him when he looked at him that closely. He blinked once or twice and thought about just grabbing his homework and doing it then but figured that would make him look like even more of a dork then he already seemed. Then he mentioned them skipping and his eyes went wide. He quickly sat back in his chair, pushing it away from the desk and holding his hands up as he shook his head almost frantically.

"Oh hell no! I can't do that!" he whispered back hastily. "Someone'll find out for sure! Plus . . . I don't normally hang out with your crowd. No offence but I wanna stay out of trouble. I can't go skipping detention and getting into all those bad habit you have. Sorry . . . I don't mean to sound cruel towards you but I just don't think I could . . ."

It wasn't just that though. Chaos stayed out of trouble for the most part and walked a tight line he'd created for himself. Falling off of that would mean turning everything he knew upside down and he just didn't think he could possibly let that happen.

Aaron Hall - October 8, 2007 07:29 PM (GMT)
[[gonna take a slight liberty here... hope it's okay! Let me know if you want it changed]]

Oh you have GOT to be kidding me? Aaron thought as Chaos seemed to go into Nerd Overload at the very concept of skipping a detention. Excuses were thrown out, slight insults were made, and all in all the guy made a fool of himself. Some senior.

Aaron grabbed his own bag and slung it onto his shoulder, getting up to his feet. He looked over to the office, and could see nothing. Looking down at Chaos, he considered the other boy for a moment before grabbing the front of Chaos' shirt in an iron-tight hold, pulling him to his feet. Once he was up, Aaron then reached over and grabbed up Chaos' bag. "Wrong answer,"

Quite forcefully, but making sure not to actually hurt him, he dragged Chaos along after him towards the door, making a show of putting on a pissed off face. This way, everyone would assume Chaos had pissed him off, and Aaron was taking him outside to teach him a lesson. With any luck, all the blame would fall soley on Aaron and Chaos would get off scott free. Opening the door, he pushed the other boy out of the room, following and then closing the door behind him.

Once out in the hallway, he stared at Chaos a little longer with his face contorted in anger, before dropping the charade entirely and grinning.

"See? Easy. Now, how're you going to thank me for getting you out of what would have been an hour of totally unprofitable boredom?" he asked, taking this in his stride as if Chaos had asked him to get him out of there.

Chaos Ridge - October 8, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
{ooc: Pssshhh, whatever. It doesn't matter to me. >w<}

Chaos stared at him wide eyed the whole time, the whole deer caught in the headlights look. It wasn't until they got outside and he was still looking angry though that he finally got a little scared. Oh it's freakin' serious! He's gonna beat the shit outa me . . . he thought as he took a hesitant step backwards. Then he grinned and Chaos sighed with relief, wanting to hit him for making him seem so stupid.

"You're a real jackass, you know that?" he asked as soon as he'd asked how he would repay him. He did actually sit there for a moment or two and consider how he would actually repay him though. "I don't really know," he said, more seriously now. "How do you wanna be repayed?" Really detention hadn't been that bad but it could have been because he'd had someone to talk to. Otherwise he would have ended up sitting there for another forty-five minutes writing down that stupid sentance that made no sense at all.

Aaron Hall - October 8, 2007 07:55 PM (GMT)
He loved how scared Chaos looked. For someone with a name that screamed 'rebel' he was very far from living up to it. He looked positivly terrified the whole time he was being dragged out of the room. Aaron had even considered playing the act a little longer, just for the immense feeling of control it gave him. It also gave him an excuse to keep holding onto Chaos' shirt...

Damn, stop thinkin' shit like that...

Chaos only seemed to relax when Aaron finally shifted his face back into a smile. "You're a real jackass, you know that?" he said, and Aaron gave a slight shrug.

"Yeah, I've been told," he admitted with a shrug, throwing Chaos' bag over to him. Wondering what to do now, he just stood aimlessly opposite the older boy. Strange that. He knew Chaos was older, yet he seemed like he was the younger of the two... probably because he was so straight edge.

"I don't really know. How do you wanna be repayed?"

Whether it was because Aaron's mind was already trying to get out of the gutter, or perhaps Chaos said it a certain way to plant the thoughts there, but at those words Aaron's imagination immediately conjured a repayment method that was neither heterosexual, nor PG-13 enough to even describe in this post.

"Uh.. well, seeing how you've already broken one of your high and mighty rules and skipped detention, how about you now indulge in some of my 'bad habits' with me? Won't kill you, I promise," he said, knowing he had the upper hand here. He could quite easily get the two of them into trouble and, while that didn't mean squat to Aaron, he could see Chaos having a mental breakdown if he got two detentions in one day.

Chaos Ridge - October 8, 2007 08:02 PM (GMT)
After Chaos had asked how Aaron wanted to be repayed a certain look showed in his eyes that made him laugh. The guy claimed to be straight but at times Chaos could swear he was having gay thoughts. It was just odd that he seemed to be thinking them about him at the moment. "Quit thinking like a pervert!" he said with another laugh. "You're supposed to be straight, aren't you? Darn, if I didn't know better I'd say you were about as straight as a circle."

Then he mentioned how he could be repayed and Chaos bit his lip, unsure of what to say. "Bad habits? Which ones? I mean you have a list as long as the wall of China . . ." he said as he tried to think of a list of things he would most certainly, under no circumstances, do himself. That list was basically as long as the things that he knew Aaron did anyways. Well, he didn't even know all Aaron did so he assumed there was tons of other things that could be added to his made up lists. Those things he could really live without finding out though.

Aaron Hall - October 8, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
"Quit thinking like a pervert!"

That broke him out of his chain of thought. Aaron tried to mask his shock at how on the nail Chaos had been with anger instead. "What the fuck are you on about?" he snapped. It got to him even more that Chaos seemed to be laughing at him. Instinctivly, Aaron's hands began to ball up into tight fists, though they remained at his sides instead of launching at the other boys face.

"You're supposed to be straight, aren't you? Darn, if I didn't know better I'd say you were about as straight as a circle."

"Fuck you, man. You're one to talk. Everyone's always on about which new girl or guy you've been spotted with during the week. You probably think every fucking guy in the school is dumb enough to fall for you,"

Okay, so he was being a bit defensive. A lot defensive. It was just homophobia, right? I mean, better to be a homophobe than a homo. Aaron was sure he must just be a homophobe. That's why the thoughts and dreams about other guys worried him so much. Yeah. That had to be it.

...He studiously ignored the fact that part of him quite enjoyed having those thoughts and dreams.

"Bad habits? Which ones? I mean you have a list as long as the wall of China . . ." Chaos said, biting his lip. It looked cute. NO. Not cute. Fucking female. That's how it looked. Made him look like a fucking girl. That was all.

"Not all habits are bad ones," Aaron replied, starting to walk down the corridor, lettng his hands loosen, gesturing for Chaos to follow, "Though most of mine are," he admitted.

He led Chaos through the semi-empty school, the only people remaining in the corridors being students from after-school clubs, teachers, and detentionees. He led Chaos past all of these people, down towards some of the older parts of the school where fewer lessons were held and few people went through en route to anywhere else. These were the corridors Aaron and his type tended to frequent. Pushing open an hinged door, he led Chaos into one of the boys bathrooms. He tried to forcibly ignore how bad it may look, him going into a bathroom with one of the know gays of the school. Bisexuals. Whatever. It was all the same.

You could tell it was used by Aaron and his friends, as the lingering smell of smoke still hung in the air, despite the air fresheners propped up on the windowsill to try and cover it. Dropping his bag to the floor, Aaron took a seat on the edge of one of the sinks, pulling out a tin from his back pocket and setting it into his lap.

"You ever smoked bud before?" he asked, prepared to not even be remotely shocked if Chaos said no. Straight edged fucker. He probably got pissed on two beers too. Still, if he was as sober as Aaron thought him to be, that made it all the more challenging. He wasn't sure why he really cared about trying to corrupt Chaos. Perhaps it was his subconscious at play, knowing how hard a task it would be, and how much time it would require him to spend with the other boy. Nah. Couldn't be it. He just liked being bad. That had to be the explaination.

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 02:32 PM (GMT)
When he'd said something about Chaos' personal life he didn't know what had ticked him off more. Was it the fact that Aaron had brought it up or that he actually knew about it at all? He'd shoved it aside and decided to follow him to where ever they were going. That just meant he got another chance to poke fun at him which was rather entertaining actually.

They reached the bathroom and the smell made him gag. He'd always hated the smell of smoke with a passion. "No." he answered, already thinking about how he could poke another stab at him. As out of character as it seemed for Chaos he loved to tease people about things. Not anything that was too harmful though since he never intended to hurt anybody. All he did was want to get them going.

"As for what you mentioned before, I wouldn't say all of them. Hell, a lot of them I wish wouldn't talk to me at all. And what are you doing talking about them. You had that look in your eyes too, trust me I know it well. Got any secrets, Aaron dear?" Chaos asked him, his voice oozing with sarcasm. He put a teasing grin on his face and laughed a little. Really, he didn't even think that Aaron was gay or bisexual or anything like that. He hung around girls too much if you asked him. But that look . . . oh man that look was too good to let him go down without making fun of him.

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 02:50 PM (GMT)
"No."

"Big surprise..." Aaron mumbled, mostly to himself but making sure it was loud enough for Chaos to hear. Opening the tin, he pulled out one of three pre-rolled joints, placing it behind his ear while he closed the tin once more, stashing it back into his pocket. Pulling a lighter out from his jacket, he got ready to light up. He decided not to mention to Chaos that, even if he didn't put the joint to his lips, the fact he was in a small, enclosed space that would soon start filling with smoke, meant he'd probably feel some effects.

"As for what you mentioned before, I wouldn't say all of them. Hell, a lot of them I wish wouldn't talk to me at all. And what are you doing talking about them."

Good. From the sound of it, the fact Aaron knew something on Chaos caused the other guy some amount of discomfort. After the comment Chaos had made to him, Aaron would be glad to annoy him back a little.

"You had that look in your eyes too, trust me I know it well. Got any secrets, Aaron dear?"

Was... was Chaos playing with him? Trying to piss him off on purpose? Staring him down, Aaron got off the sink, taking a few steps closer to Chaos. Putting the joint in his mouth, lighting it up and sucking deep, he held the smoke for a few seconds before purposely blowing it straight into Chaos' face.

"Plenty. But none that I'm tellin' you. And don't go thinkin' you've guessed anything either, 'cos you're wrong."

Truth be told, he was shit scared that Chaos may suspect something about him... something that Aaron was terrified might be true. What if he was... you know... into guys? His friends would surely react badly to it. Well, Taryn might not, but everyone else would either take the piss, or just beat the shit out of him. Sure, he could hold his own, but not if they all decided to beat some straightness into him all at once. If Chaos said anything to anyone, Aaron would seriously consider killing him. Or, at the very least, beat him into silence.

Still, if he was so certain that he must be straight, then why was Aaron enjoying this excuse to stand so close to him? Why was he enjoying staring straight into his unusual yet sexy grey eyes...

No! Fuck! Not sexy!

He quickly turned away again, making out that he was looking at the door to check for intruders. Fuck. What the hell was wrong with him recently? He must be hitting the drink'n'drugs too strong or something, though he'd never heard a side effect of either to give one gay tendencies. It was fucking disturbing, that's what it was.

"And don't fucking call me Dear..." he spat, taking another toke.

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 03:06 PM (GMT)
Chaos coughed and waved the smoke away from his face, taking a few steps back instinctively. Just the smell that was now in the room made him want to go back to detention and face getting in trouble for leaving. Yeah, it was that bad. There was no way he was going to lose this chance though, not when he finally seemed to have really hit something that bugged Aaron. He wasn't as friendly anymore but that hardly bothered Chaos. Something told him there was no way he would hit him so that's why he continued.

"Awww, you're not going to tell me, Aaron dear?" Chaos asked with a smirk. He planned on calling Aaron 'dear' whenever he could until he got bored with it just because it seemed to irk him. Well, actually it did that to a lot of people. That's why Chaos tended to say it so much. It was only to certain people though, just when he wanted to tease them. Or just poke fun at them like he was doing now.

He paced the floor and looked down at the tiles then paused and looked up at Aaron, still smirking. "Hmmm . . . I'll just tell everyone in school about the way you look at guys. Won't be so high and mighty then, will ya? And you did it again just a second ago by the way, dear. It's best to hide those things because if I weren't who I am I would have had the urge to punch you square in the face on both occasions. How cute, tough guy Aaron has a crush on a guy. Keep your secrets to yourself if you want to but we'll all find out eventually. And if not, you're going to crack soon." he said in a mocking tone.

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 03:27 PM (GMT)
"Awww, you're not going to tell me, Aaron dear?"

He took another, deeper drag. Inhale. Hold it. Exhale. Inhale. Hold it. Exhale. He could feel anger boiling up inside him, mixed with a horrible dash of guilt and fear. Already his jaw had clenched, and the hand not on the joint held his lighter so tight he could feel it digging painfully into his palm. Aaron wasn't even looking at him, but he could feel that smug smirk on Chaos' face.

"Hmmm . . . I'll just tell everyone in school about the way you look at guys. Won't be so high and mighty then, will ya?"

His body and mind were conflicting. The drugs were telling his body to slow down and relax, yet his mind was telling him to rage, attack, kill. He settled instead for gripping the lighter even tighter, concentrating his stare on the floor.

"And you did it again just a second ago by the way, dear. It's best to hide those things because if I weren't who I am I would have had the urge to punch you square in the face on both occasions."

Damn, he'd noticed. And fuck, he had a point. What if Aaron accidentally ended up looking at a guy in that way, and it wasn't taken well? He knew some of his friends would happily beat the shit out of him if they ever thought he was... coming onto them. Oh god...

"How cute, tough guy Aaron has a crush on a guy. Keep your secrets to yourself if you want to but we'll all find out eventually. And if not, you're going to crack soon."

...That's it.

Spinning quickly back to face Chaos, Aaron moved so quickly he barely knew what he was doing himself, and he had no idea what kept him from breaking the punks nose. Next thing he knew, both his hands had grabbed the front of Chaos' shirt, pushed him backwards, and was now holding him up against the wall. He was so worked up, the fact that their bodies were almost touching was pushed towards the back of his mind.

"The last thing... you want me to do... is crack," he growled through gritted teeth, getting right up in Chaos' face. His hands held Chaos roughly in place, the lit joint still held between his lips in the corner of Aarons mouth. He could so easily destroy him right now... floor him and give him such a kicking that he'd never say that shit again... so why the fuck didn't he? Since when did Aaron Hall ever hesitate to hit someone like this?

Slowly, that little thought about how close together they were started crawling back towards the front of his mind. Letting go of Chaos, he stayed close for just a moment longer, not wanting to appear afraid, before taking a step or two back.

There is something seriously wrong with me...

"And you fucking call me a jackass..." he said, taking another deep pull on the joint, his desperate smoking already meaning it had burned more than halfway down. "You say anything about... You just say anything about me, and you won't have the ability to speak for a long time, got it?" he threatened.

Yeah, great way to make friends, Aaron.

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 03:44 PM (GMT)
If it had been anyone else Chaos would have been scared to death when he was being held against the wall. He hated fighting so he rarely fought back on the select occasions that he got into them. However, as soon as he looked at Aaron and remembered it was him he had to fight not to laugh. That's how he thought of it; it was only Aaron and Aaron wouldn't hit him. He'd had mulitple occasions and never took one of them.

Then he got the craziest look on his face when he let him go and backed up. Almost like he'd just realized something. That only made Chaos' smirk widen. "You scare the shit outa me, Aaron." he said sarcastically. "Really you do! I've over here quivering at the thought of you hitting me!" He laughed to himself almost bitterly. "Face it Aaron, you wouldn't hit me. Who the hell knows why but if you were gonna you would have awhile ago. What's wrong? You scared?"

No, Chaos wasn't trying to make an enemy here by any means. Quite truthfully if he wanted to make an enemy with anyone Aaron would be the last on his list. They were sort of friends after all. Or at least Chaos liked to think so. All he was trying to do was to get him going, maybe get him to admit his secrets. Oh that would just delight him if he did. Once again though, he hardly suspected he was gay or anything close to it. He just thought he had thoughts about stuff like that which was all he was waiting for him to admit. Now if he said who he had them about . . . wow that would be a different ball game. A horribly awkward, freak ball game.

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 03:59 PM (GMT)
He wasn't scared. Goddamnit, Aaron had the guy thrown up against the damn wall and Chaos wasn't scared. This made things a whole lot harder. Aaron tended to rely on others fear of him to get them to do what he wanted. If Chaos wasn't scared then there were only two options: take the risk of letting him go, or actually hit him. Neither option seemed too inviting to Aaron right now.

"You scare the shit outa me, Aaron."

Sarcasm was literally pouring off Chaos' every word, Aaron turning away defiantly, trying to fathom out what was going on in his own head. What the fuck was going on? Since when did he have thoughts like that about guys, and since when did a guy like Chaos become unafraid of him?

"Really you do! I've over here quivering at the thought of you hitting me!"

"You fucking should be..." Aaron said under his breath, still weighing up the possibility of hitting Chaos. It was becoming a more and more inviting idea, so why the hell didn't he just get on and do it. It'd be so easy, and damn the consequences in regards to punishment. But it wasn't fear of what the school would do that stayed his fists. It was something inside his own head. Something that he knew was there, but didn't want to explore or examine.

"Face it Aaron, you wouldn't hit me. Who the hell knows why but if you were gonna you would have awhile ago. What's wrong? You scared?"

"Yes,"

He had no idea whether the slipped word was loud enough for Chaos to hear or not, but next second he had swung around, cracking him straight across the face with his balled fist. It was nowhere near as fast or as hard as Aaron knew he was capable of, but it still happened. It was as if one half of him had tried to pummel him, but another half had tried to hold back.

"Oh shit..." was all he managed to say, his action sinking in. Now that he'd actually gone and done it, he regretted letting himself go like that. Why? No clue. Well, nothing he was going to discuss. All he knew is that he'd just hit Chaos square in the face, and he was both shocked and disgusted at himself.

"I.. fuck, I'm sorry. I mean, I'm not... you deserved it but.. Uh.. fuck. Sorry,"

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
The hit had hurt a little and did make Chaos stumble back but that wasn't what had shocked him the most. Had he heard wrong or did Aaron say he was scared? On an average day, with just about anyone else, Chaos would have been jumping up and cursing at the person that had hit him but with Aaron he just laughed. "Nice." he said as he moved away from the wall he'd stumbled into. He walked closer to Aaron so that he was about a half a foot away and he smirked again.

The thought of a bruise on his cheek that he'd have to explain to his mom when he went home didn't really bother him at the moment. Neither did Aaron's stuttered. God, did he seem pitiful. No, he couldn't have said he was scared even though now he seemed rather . . . regretfull, for lack of a better term. "Aaron, you little bastard. I've been nice to you all this fucking time but now you've crossed the line." He gritted his teeth and let an evil smile replace his smirk as he cracked his knuckles. No, he wasn't really mad. Just playing another of his silly games. Chaos was a complex guy. Sure he got mad easily but with friends he could take a lot more than just with someone he didn't even know.

He grabbed Aaron by the front of his shirt and took another step towards him, glaring at him. Then all at once he smiled and whispered in his ear. "Gotcha."

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
Great. Just fucking great. He was laughing. Chaos must've heard him say 'yes'. Well, that was just fucking fantastic. Boy, when Aaron fucked something up, he really did it to its full extent.

"Nice."

Aaron just stood there, wordless and motionless, watching as Chaos chuckled to himself and pushed himself away from the wall which he'd stumbled against. Aaron didn't know what to do. Did he hit him again, harder, and wipe the smile off Chaos' face? Did he apologise again? This situation was new to him, and he didn't like it one bit.

"Aaron, you little bastard. I've been nice to you all this fucking time but now you've crossed the line."

Was Chaos trying to be the tough guy now? Aaron wasn't scared of him physically. Not one bit. He knew he could easily block any throw that Chaos threw at him, yet his hands stayed by his sides. Perhaps he should just take a hit. Even the score. Maybe then Chaos would keep his mouth shut and consider them even. Part of him felt like he deserved to be hit back. Aaron had never willingly left himself open for a blow before.

Fuck, he really looked pissed too. Aaron didn't let himself resist, even when Chaos reversed their roles totally, him now being the one grabbing hold of Aaron's shirt roughly. Aaron fought he urge to shove Chaos off him, kick him, knee him, bite him... any of his usual tactics in this kind of situation. He set his jaw instead, preparing for the punch.

Chaos stepped closer. He put his face closer to Aarons. His mouth moved so close to his ear that Aaron could feel him breathing. What the hell? Was he planning to...

"Gotcha."

"... You little shit," Aaron snarled in reply, though he didn't move. He didn't step back, and he didn't swat Chaos' hands off him either. He just stood there, waiting. He had no idea what to do with himself.

((work is over! I have to drive home now so i'll be back online in like 20 mins))

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 04:40 PM (GMT)
Chaos laughed to himself and pushed him away gently, not hard enough to hurt hm or anything. "Hope I didn't scare you too bad." he said as he moved so he was leaning against a sink. "You're horrible, you know. Just plan horrible. Can't believe you actually hit me." He smiled none the less and laughed once again. Anyway, by now he'd realized that Aaron wasn't used to people having the upper hand in any situation. So the fact that Chaos still wasn't that scared of him was great on his behalf.

"For the record, you still don't scare me. I can be just as mean as you can I just choose not to. I prefer to taunt people like you. It's a good game to play, really. Now back on the topic of your little secrets . . . Mind telling me now?" he asked as he got up, walking closer to him. "You know you wanna tell someone, I'll listen." He got so close to him that their lips were only inches apart. He didn't plan to kiss him or anything. He just wanted to intimidate him. "Maybe tell someone of your own kind what's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" he whispered with a smirk.

Oh did he love messing with Aaron. The sad thing was he played along so well that the game didn't get old as it did with some people. Now he just had to worry about if he flipped away. He was too close for him to get his face he figured but that didn't mean he couldn't hit him elsewhere.

{Mkay! ^.^}

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
With the light shove, Aaron let himself be pushed back a few paces, still silent. He was trying to assess the whole situation, trying to understand where he stood in all of this. Whatever game Chaos was playing with his head, Aaron was loathe to admit it was working. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been kept silent for so long by someone.

"Hope I didn't scare you too bad."

Still no reply. Aaron simply watched in total silence as Chaos moved to lean against one of the sinks, casual and elegant. He looked so out of place in here. So clean and smart against the grafitti'd walls and smokey haze. Aaron fit right in when in places like this... so why was he the one who felt totally out of place? "You're horrible, you know. Just plan horrible. Can't believe you actually hit me," Chaos then added, part of Aaron wishing he hadn't held back and had hit him harder. The thought was still there in his mind, but far from the forefront.

"For the record, you still don't scare me. I can be just as mean as you can I just choose not to. I prefer to taunt people like you. It's a good game to play, really. Now back on the topic of your little secrets . . . Mind telling me now?"

No, Aaron thought to himself, I know what happens if I tell anyone. I tell one person, and everyone ends up knowing. No one will know, least of all Chaos.

Chaos moved a few steps closer. Aaron resisted the urge to step back and away from him.

"You know you wanna tell someone, I'll listen."

He stepped even closer, and Aaron's breath quickened involuntarily. He tried to force it to return to normal. Chaos got close and closer, until there were barely millimeters between their bodies and faces. Aaron's eyes could look nowhere else than into Chaos', and he could feel Chaos' breath ghosting across his lips.

"Maybe tell someone of your own kind what's going on in that pretty little head of yours?"

He could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Pounding so hard he was certain it was practically echoing around the room. He didn't know what to do. He was frozen. The words seemed to sink in slower than usual, and he wasn't sure how to reply.

"I'm... nothing like you," he finally replied, his voice barely more than a whisper. He was worried that if he moved his mouth too much then his lips may accidentally brush against Chaos'.

"And no-one gets into my head,"

He wanted to hit him. Fuck, he wanted to beat him so bad. He wanted to knee him in the crotch, floor him, and kick him in the face until he looked so terrible ever Aaron couldn't stand to look at him... but he couldn't. He just stood there. Frozen. For one of the few times in Aaron's life, he'd lost all control.

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 05:28 PM (GMT)
Choas laughed again, soft and low, to himself. He found it ironic that he would say no one could get into his head when, indeed, he seemed to be doing quite a good job of doing so. If he listened close enough he swore he could hear Aaron's heart beating and hear how his breath had quickened a bit. Yet the whole time he seemed trying to control himself; to not give in. So that gave him the idea to tease him some more.

"Nothing like me, huh?" he asked him, his voice just as low as his had been when he spoke. "And no one can get into your head? Is that so? Then why are you going right along with my game? How come you so quickly abandoned how you normally act for this . . . pathetic version of yourself. Same cute face, same nice body but such a different personality. You're actually quiet for once."

Chaos paused for a moment to think of how he should continue. He needed to say something that would get right to him. Or at least get him thinking or something like that. "More dirty thoughts, Aaron?" he asked him without thinking about it, just to make sure he didn't lose hold of the upper hand here. That's all his games seemed to be, mind games about who had more control of the other person. "Come on dear, quit being so shy. I don't bite too hard. I thought you were supposed to be the tough one here. What happened? Did I intimidate you or something? Or maybe I just . . . hit a soft topic, got you thinking?"

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 05:45 PM (GMT)
He wanted to turn the tables so much. Aaron craved control. He always wanted to be in control, and never let others control him. Yet right now, things were totally the other way around. He felt like he was being trapped, Chaos giving him his options at ways out. Sure, Aaron could hit him again, but after how he felt from doing that the first time, the more sensible part of him had accepted that wasn't going to happen. He didn't know if it was the drugs making his mind buzz, or something Chaos was doing...

"Nothing like me, huh?"

His voice was so soft and low, if Aaron had been even the slighest bit furthur away he probably would never have been able to hear. Everytime Chaos spoke, his warm breath rushed along Aaron's skin. He was so damn close. He could smell mint on Chaos' breath, and also the hint of cologne or deoderant he was wearing. It was... damn, it was like a drug. It was wrong, but seemed so good. It was intoxicating.

"And no one can get into your head? Is that so? Then why are you going right along with my game? How come you so quickly abandoned how you normally act for this . . . pathetic version of yourself. Same cute face, same nice body but such a different personality. You're actually quiet for once."

At being called pathetic, Aaron clenched his jaw. That word in particular got to him more than the rest. Pathetic. His father always called him that. Pathetic son. Pathetic excuse for a human. Pathetic pathetic pathetic. His jaw clenched even harder.

Cute face... Nice body... the words rang through Aaron's head. Trigger words. Danger words. Words he should be punching Chaos in the head for saying, but couldn't. He wanted to break free of this so much, it was almost starting to hurt. He wanted to bolt, but he wouldn't run away. He never ran away. He didn't want to run away. Part of him craved this. Craved the proximity, the feel of another guy close to him...

"More dirty thoughts, Aaron?"

Fuck! Was this guy a mind reader or something? It seemed every time any sexual thought went through Aaron's head, Chaos knew about it. The thought that someone may actually be able to really see inside his head worried Aaron. There were things up there he never wanted anyone to see.

"Come on dear, quit being so shy. I don't bite too hard. I thought you were supposed to be the tough one here. What happened? Did I intimidate you or something? Or maybe I just . . . hit a soft topic, got you thinking?"

"Why are you doing this?"

God, the words sounded so damn pathetic, even in Aaron's own ears. Sounded so weak and scared, but he had to know. Where the hell was Chaos getting off on all this? He was the well behaved and well liked student who never got into trouble. Guys like that didn't go around giving random people complete mind-fuckups at every chance.

Besides, it let Aaron dodge Chaos' questions a little longer.

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 06:02 PM (GMT)
"Why?" Chaos repeated, somewhat surprised that he'd actually asked him a question. "Hmm . . . Well, you see this is just too fun. You're hiding a secret that's not that hard for others, or at least me, to see. Face it love, you look at guys. You think about them. Admit it to yourself and you wouldn't be so trapped right now. Matter of fact you're quite cute . . . I'm sure there's guys around here that wouldn't mind having you around as more than a friend."

He couldn't help but laugh a little to himself then. Sure, he himself wouldn't even really mind it. Once you went past that tough guy exterior Aaron was kind of cute on the inside and not just look-wise. Like when he asked him why he was doing what he was doing . . . boy, did that sound so innocent. Innocence had always been something that attracted Chaos to guys.

Wait, no. He didn't have those types of feelings for Aaron. There wasn't anyway he could. All he wanted to do was get him to admit how he felt about guys. No, if he had feelings about that situation it would complicate things to the extreme. His own thoughts made him hesitate for a moment. He found himself looking at Aaron more closely despite trying not to. He has such pretty eyes . . . No, nevermind that!

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 06:36 PM (GMT)
"Why? Hmm . . . Well, you see this is just too fun. You're hiding a secret that's not that hard for others, or at least me, to see."

Was it only Chaos that had an idea of what went on in his head, or could other people see Aaron for what he truely was as well? The idea seriously worried him. He was walking a dangerously thin line here, and he was worried he was close to falling.

"Face it love, you look at guys. You think about them. Admit it to yourself and you wouldn't be so trapped right now. Matter of fact you're quite cute . . . I'm sure there's guys around here that wouldn't mind having you around as more than a friend."

No, he wouldn't admit it to himself. He couldn't. Because it couldn't be true. Damn, he could only imagine his fathers face, finding out his youngest son was a pathetic fuck-up, failure, and fag. It'd be the icing on the fucking cake. Chaos went off again, saying how Aaron was cute, how guys would like him... Aaron swallowed hard, not saying a word, not moving a muscle. It wasn't true. He knew that much. People here didn't like him. They were scared of him. They hated him. That was the goddamn way it was meant to be too. Not like this...

Their eyes were locked, both seemed desperate to look away, but both utterly unable to. Aaron wondered if Chaos was going to try and kiss him. He better fucking not. It'd be the last thing he ever did...

So why are you playing that scene out in your mind, Aaron?

He wanted to shake his head, clear that dirty, fucked up thought from his head, but if Chaos really was the mindreader he seemed to be, he probably already knew it was there. Aarons lips felt dry, but he didn't want to wet them. It'd give such a bad impression. It'd make him seem like he was preparing himself to kiss or something.

"Anyone who thinks I'm crazy has never met you," he replied, still ever-dodging those questions, unwilling (or unable) to admit what they both knew to be true. "You're insane," he added, both of them still speaking in barely audible whispers. "And you're trying to dive me insane to join you..."

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
"I'm insane?" Chaos repeated, laughing softly. "No, my friend, that seems to be your department. People aren't supposed to just think they can glide through life as if on ice. Your ice is getting thin now, Aaron. I see you for who you are, not who you wish I could see you as. You. Like. Guys." Then he was lost in looking into his eyes again, just staring into them.

Though he hated to admit it he was thinking of kissing him at the moment he had the strongest urge to. Something told him that maybe, just maybe, Aaron wouldn't mind it so much if he did. Oh, he just didn't know though. If he thought wrong he could end up almost dead from getting the shit beat out of him. You didn't kiss just any guy around here, not when you were a guy too. He found his heart rate slowly excellorating and he licked his lips.

Just something quick. Chaos told himself. Maybe that was what it would take to push him over the edge, either to beat him up or to admit he did like guys. As he was still having a silent debate with himself in his mind he felt his eyes slowly close as he closed the distance between their lips. He barely brushed his own against Aaron's before pulling away slowly. His eyes remained closed as if to ward off whatever was about to happen but he knew he'd have to open them sooner or later. He did so slowly and watched Aaron carefully, waiting almost anxiously for his reaction.

Aaron Hall - October 9, 2007 07:30 PM (GMT)
No, that's not who I am, Aaron thought to himself, but the words didn't come out. He was only barely listening to Chaos right now, finding himself too lost in his own thoughts, and in Chaos' eyes. Grey, mysterious. Eyes he shouldn't be staring so intently into but just couldn't help himself. He could just about see Chaos licking his lips... god, that mouth. He knew he shouldn't think like this, but he couldn't fucking help it. His mind had a will of its own, and it was obsessed with Chaos at that very moment.

And then it happened. So short and so brief, yet for that second it lasted, time seemed to slow. Almost as if in slow motion, Aaron watched as Chaos' eyelids fluttered shut, leaning in that tiny bit of extra distance, their lips finally touching. As Chaos then immediatly pulled away, Aaron found his own mouth trying to follow.

Oh fuck.

He could deny it to his friends, his enemies, his family... but that one simple kiss meant there was one person he wasn't so sure he could deny the truth of his sexuality to anymore: himself. Immediatly he wanted to grab Chaos and pull him back closer, full on body contact and deep kisses, but he resisted. He was in shock, both with Chaos' guts at doing such a thing but, more importantly, at himself for letting it happen... and enjoying it. The sensation he was feeling right now was not like anything he'd felt with a girl. There, he'd always felt in control, and knew exactly what he was doing. In this case, he was very much not in control, and he was very much doing something totally new to him.

"What... was that for?" he finally managed to choke out, feeling one of them had to say something.

Was Chaos just playing with him? Just trying to get his answers? Or was there an underlying reason he kept saying Aaron was cute, had a nice body...?

Chaos Ridge - October 9, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
Choas smiled at him and cleared his throat then bit his lip. He didn't know whether to be happy or not. Sure, he was happy he was still living and breathing and even more happy that Aaron had actually tried to attempt to kiss him again. Still he didn't know if he'd liked it or not. Was his point proven or was he just in too much shock to yell at him yet. God, if only he didn't like Jase so much this guy would definately be someone he wanted to be more than friends with. Well . . . that and if he finally wanted to admit how he was.

"What was it for?" Chaos asked, trying to realize how to answer the question. "Um . . . I don't know . . . I just wanted to. I hope you don't mind but it seems you don't mind too much." He had to regain control again somehow, to make him feel like the girl in the situation. "It was so cute how you tried to kiss me again. Why didn't you? I wouldn't have minded." He lifted his hand up and brushed it across Aaron's cheek.

Oh, it was a good thing him and Jase weren't exactly together yet or else Chaos would really be screwed. He was stuck between to people at the moment and getting quite confused. After a second he decided to see how things went between him and Aaron. Maybe he could just have a sort of . . . friends with benefits thing going on with Aaron. He knew something had to keep going on between them though or he might go insane. Damn, he was as addicting as a drug.

Aaron Hall - October 10, 2007 06:06 AM (GMT)
Aaron had always known what he wanted. That was the kind of person he was. He knew what he wanted, and he did whatever he could to get it, no matter who he hurt along the way. Perhaps that was why this situation was so damn difficult for him. He was having an internal conflict over what he wanted. Did he want to keep his life the way it was, where everything made sense and everyone knew not to fuck with him, yet in the back of his mind he'd always have those strange, unnatural little thoughts that he'd never get to experience in real life? Or did he want to throw caution to the wind, experiment, discover what the hell he was, and possibly lose everything that made up his 'normal' life.

He was in dangerous territory, he knew that much. An extreme temptation had been put directly in front of him, and it was activly encouraging him to take it. Not only was Chaos tempting enough in his own right, he was encouraging Aaron to act on his feelings and... well, do something, anything. Kiss him, hit him, talk to him. And damn he looked gorgeous while doing it, the slightly anxious look on his face while he gently bit his lower lip, still standing so close...

"What was it for? Um . . . I don't know . . . I just wanted to. I hope you don't mind but it seems you don't mind too much."

No, he didn't mind. He fucking should, but he didn't, and it was driving him mad. As much as he hated to admit it to himself, he had enjoyed it. He wanted more, and not just kissing either. It was almost as if his mind had suddenly realised that he was not fighting against these thoughts any more, and already it was conjuring multiple scenarios of what could happen right there and then in the bathroom. Aaron knew he should and could stop them, but he didn't. He let them play through his minds eye, his heart racing.

If anyone finds out about all this, I'm dead, he reminded himself.

"It was so cute how you tried to kiss me again. Why didn't you? I wouldn't have minded."

"I.." Aaron began, but came abruptly to a halt as Chaos' hand began to stroke his cheek. Fucking hell, it felt good. Sure, it felt damn good when a woman did it too, but it never felt like this... dangerous, taboo, unknown. He swallowed hard. "I'm not gay," he finally managed to choke out. He wasn't. He couldn't be. He still liked women, and he'd always believed all that bi-sexual crap was just a cover for fags who wanted to still seem semi-normal. Wanted to pretend they still liked women, but wanted an excuse to fuck men as well. Aaron did still like women. A lot. So... what was he now?

Chaos Ridge - October 10, 2007 12:18 PM (GMT)
Chaos had watched Aaron closely over the last few seconds, trying to figure out if he could tell just what was going on in his mind. Of course he seemed to just be spacing and thinking about something. When he touched him though he seemed to almost come alive again which made him smile. Then he said he wasn't gay. Well, Chaos hadn't exactly expected him to be. Just because you liked guys didn't mean you had to be gay.

Chaos was one of the people that strongly believed it was possible to like both sexes and not just one. That was his personal opinion though, considering he was bisexual himself. He doubted anyone could change him mind on that either. After all, his philosopy was that love had no gender and you couldn't help what happened.

"Not gay?" he still asked with mock shock. "Well I'll be damned!" He rolled his eyes and smiled a little. "I wasn't expecting you to be gay, dear. There is such a thing as being bisexual you know and those people that say there isn't are just trying to play with your mind. It's perfectly normal and alright to like both genders." With another smile he touched his cheek again and wondered if, in fact, Aaron was one of those people that thought being bisexual was impossible.

Aaron Hall - October 10, 2007 12:34 PM (GMT)
Aaron wasn't totally convinved on this point... maybe purely because the idea of fancying men was still so alien and wrong to him. He didn't want to argue the matter though. At least if bi-sexuals were possible, it meant that maybe he wasn't totally gay, as he feared. Chaos' hand was on his cheek again, Aaron wondering exactly what his game was in all of this.

"So... what you just did... you just wanted to see how I'd react to a guy... y'know, kissing me?" he asked quietly.

He didn't know how he felt about that. If Chaos had kissed him purely to get answers, he'd be pretty pissed off. He didn't liked to be used to anyones ends. If Chaos kissed him because he actually just wanted to... well, that was totally different, and make this already awkward situation a whole lot more awkward for Aaron. Did Chaos like him in that way? If he did, what was Aaron meant to do? While he was still scared at the implications of being in any way attracted to men, he couldn't deny how curious he was, or how good it felt being kissed and touched by Chaos right now. It was a dangerous game he played, but he wanted to play it just a bit longer... just to find out who and what he was.

He began to raise his hand, hesitating slightly. Steeling his nerves, he brought his hand up to his own cheek to rest on top of Chaos'. His heart pounded so hard he thought it was ready to burst bloodily from his chest. He didn't know what he was doing, and didn't know how it would be taken either. Keeping his eyes on Chaos, he waited for his reaction.

Chaos Ridge - October 10, 2007 12:54 PM (GMT)
Chaos was completely shocked when Aaron asked if he'd just kissed him for a reaction. Of course, that had been one of the reasons but there was more than one. He thought it would help him figure things out like it had helped him a few years ago. Except . . . he seemed to just have gotten more confused by it. Whether he like Aaron or not was hard for him to figure out. He was almost sure he did but if Aaron did swing that way, so to speak, he could probably easily toss aside those feelings before they got too strong and unavoidable.

"No, of course that's not why." he finally said. He was just about to draw back his hand when he felt Aaron's hand on his. Chaos felt a nervous, almost anxious, look settle in the pit of his stomach yet it made him smile none the less. After calming down a little he continued, hoping his pounding heart rate couldn't be heard by Aaron like he heard it himself; pounding away in his ears.

"Well, that was part of the reason." he decided to say. "I won't lie to you, I wanted to see what you'd do. Your reaction wasn't what I suspected though. And . . . I thought it might help you. Ya know, help you figure things out. That didn't seem to work much considering you look confused." He paused and tried to think of what to say about his other reason. "That and I guess I just wanted to. It was one of those moments, ya know? And you're just too cute to resist." Chaos laughed a little and winked at him, trying to keep the mood a bit light so it wasn't as awkward.

Aaron Hall - October 10, 2007 01:07 PM (GMT)
"No, of course that's not why."

Aaron wasn't convinced.

"Well, that was part of the reason."

That was more like it. Aaron wasn't stupid, despite popular belief. And he didn't like to be lied to by anyone.

"I won't lie to you, I wanted to see what you'd do. Your reaction wasn't what I suspected though. And . . . I thought it might help you. Ya know, help you figure things out. That didn't seem to work much considering you look confused."

Well, to some degree, Aaron guessed it had worked. He knew now that, despite how much he may fight it, he did look at and think about guys in a way that was far from heterosexual. He also now knew that he kind of liked it when a guy kissed him, and he liked being close to them too. All these things, before today, would have been rigorously denied with all of his power. While he wasn't ready to admit any of this to anyone, he was at least prepared to start admitting it to himself.

"That and I guess I just wanted to. It was one of those moments, ya know? And you're just too cute to resist."

Chaos gave a chuckle and winked, Aaron feeling as if the other guy was trying to make things less tense for them both. It wouldn't help Aaron much though... this was a hell of a lot for fim to take in, and he was still a little in shock. Feeling a bit stupid, he let his hand drop from from Chaos', falling back to his side.

"Stop callin' me that... 'cute'. Makes me sound like a fucking hamster or something," he replied, finally breaking their eye contact and looking down at the floor. Chaos was taking this all in his stride so easily. Well, of course he would. Kissing a guy was all in a days work for him. Aaron was the one new to all this.

"If I am.. you know, like you... what do I do now?" he asked, before looking up and quickly adding, "And I'm not sayin' I am like you or anything! I'm just, well, y'know, asking theoretically,"

Chaos Ridge - October 10, 2007 01:20 PM (GMT)
Chaos laughed a little and took his hand away, nodding slightly. He was acting like they were almost talking about a disease. Yes doctor, I realize I might have cancer. Now, not saying I do or not yet, what do I do from here on out? he thought in his head. He focused his gaze back on Aaron and laughed a little. He was acting like this might have well had been a disease, something horrible to realize. To Chaos it was just . . . normal.

"Um . . . well . . ." he said slowly. This was really something he had to think about. Everyone was different after all. Some guys went right out expressing their new-found sexuality and started hitting on guys like pros. Other kept to themselves more and only told guys they really liked but were always extremely careful when doing so. Chaos had been like that when he first found out but then he got more used to it; more comfortable with himself.

"You either get out there and be who you are and just hope you find love somewhere or you keep in the closet and only tell people you think deserve it. Maybe you'll date a guy or two here and there or maybe you'll just stick to girls for awhile. Who knows, it's all up to you. Some people tend to prefer girls over guys and visa versa. Personally, it doesn't matter that much to me." Chaos said with a smile. Really he'd just winged his answer, not planning it at all. He'd just gone off of what he knew about himself, had experience and watched other people he knew likw himself go through.

Aaron Hall - October 10, 2007 01:30 PM (GMT)
Well, he certainly wasn't going to go out and announce it to the world. For him, that'd be equivalent to signing his own death sentence. No, announcing this to the world was not an option. Keeping in the closet, therefore, seemed like his only real option. Tell those who needed to be told, and leave everyone else in the dark. But how the hell was he meant to know who was safe to tell and who wasn't? If he told the wrong person, his life could be over.

"So, you don't..."

Like me?. Don't be stupid, Aaron. A guy like this isn't going to fall for a guy like you. Sure, he thinks you're cute, but that's it. Chaos was a good little boy. He went to his lessons, did his homework, didn't do drugs. Hell, his parents were probably damn proud to have him as a son. Compare that to Aaron; drinker, smoker, drug addict, troublemaker, hellraiser, whose parents would rather he never existed. Why would Chaos ever want a guy like him?

"Nevermind. Forget it." he said, running a hand through his mess of brown and blond hair. Damn, why couldn't he just be normal and only get turned on by women? Women were so much damn easier to deal with than guys.

Chaos Ridge - October 10, 2007 01:45 PM (GMT)
Chaos laughed a little and put his hand on Aaron's shoulder lightly. He was pretty sure he knew exactly what he wanted to ask since he too had been in his same situation many times before. It was an awkward place to ask questions like that when you felt so uneducated but now he was the one that knew more and he couldn't help but feel good about it.

"Yeah." he whispered in his ear before kissing his cheek lightly. "I guess you can say I do." He let his hand fall back to his side as he backed up again, smiling perhaps a bit too smuggly. He'd helped him out and started to like him all in the same day. What could he say? Aside from all his bad habits and his attitude he figured out that he was a really cool guy. Alright and looks were a huge plus too.

Still that didn't mean Aaron felt the same way about him. That would mean that if he did though Chaos would be the first guy he liked as far as he knew. Boy, wouuld that be odd. It was an exciting prospect though once he thought about it more.

Aaron Hall - October 10, 2007 02:33 PM (GMT)
Breath catching in his throat at Chaos whispered in his ear, Aaron was once again convinced that this guy was some kind of mind reader. He felt as if Aaron was almost teasing him.. testing how much he had to do before he got a reaction from Aaron. He'd had it done to him before, but always by girls. They'd come onto him, make little nuances, touch him and keep close, all the while waiting to see when he'd take the initiative himself and act back. Right now, Aaron felt like Chaos was almost doing the same... seeing how much it'd take before he got a reaction. If there was no risk, and no fear of any negative outcome, Aaron would probably be on top of Chaos right now, and not in a violent way.

Still, there was always risk, and there was a high chance of a negative outcome. That was why he held back so stubbornly.

"Okay..." Aaron replied, not giving any indication back as to what his own feelings towards Chaos were. He felt so stupid right now. Like a little inexperienced kid stood in front of an expert adult. He wanted to keep what little power he had to himself. Chaos was trying to get full access into his thoughts, and Aaron wasn't willing to let him in so far yet.

"I uh... fuck. This is weird, y'know? I always know what to say, but right now... It's like they're there, but just won't come out," he said, fumbling with the right way to explain himself. He wanted to say how he liked how Chaos made him feel, he wanted to threaten him to keep this all to himself, he wanted to ask Chaos to kiss him, he wanted to tell him how part of him still wanted to punch Chaos within an inch of his life... yet that was all still locked away. All Chaos got was that jumbled mess of words that really didn't mean anything at all.

Choas nodded slightly in understanding, still smiling. "Totally." he said though he really wasn't all too sure of what he was saying. "Just hang in there, you'll figure out what you want to do and how to act with time. That's all it takes; just a bit of time." An idea came into his mind, something he was sure had to get Aaron to say something. He had to leave or at least try to. If he told him to stay or did something, like he was hoping for, then that was good. If he didn't say anything and just let him leave he figured they'd just be friends.

"Well, I should get going. Everyone should be heading off soon. I'll talk to you tomorrow in school or something Aaron." Chaos said. He kissed his cheek and walked past him, brushing his shoulder against his. He tried not to walk too slow so that Aaron wouldn't be able to tell this was all an act. Still he ended up going a little slower than normal.

He was trying to make it seem like he was just walking away happily, satisfied with what he knew and what had happened. Really he wanted more though, so much more. He wasn't going to try anything with Aaron though unless he made the first move, that was just how he was. Despite not wanting to, Chaos paused at the door and looked back at him. It was only out of the corner of his eye though and it was just to see what Aaron was doing.

"Just hang in there, you'll figure out what you want to do and how to act with time. That's all it takes; just a bit of time."

He felt like he was even being spoken to like a child... but it couldn't be helped. He supposed that, in this situation, he was the child. He hated it, but it was the truth. He didn't want to have to wait and figure out what was going to happen. He wanted to know now. He'd always been a pretty impaitent guy.

"Well, I should get going. Everyone should be heading off soon. I'll talk to you tomorrow in school or something Aaron."

Another quick kiss on the cheek (Aaron's urge to punch Chaos for kissing him had now all but dissipated) and, brushing lightly past him, Chaos made his way to the door. All the while, Aaron's mind was in conflict. Good, keep any sort of temptation out of the way. But I don't want him to leave. But this way, you can just bury everything that has happened and not risk it happening again. But what if I want it to happen again? You don't. Don't I?

"Chaos, wait..." he finally said, walking over and putting his hand firmly on the door, leaning his weight on it so Chaos couldn't open it. He scrutinised the boys face, taking in everything about him, telling himself over and over again that this was what he wanted, definitely what he wanted, with no chance of turning back. "I'm probably going to regret this, but..."

With his free hand, he grabbed the front of Chaos' shirt once again, pulling him close and kissed him. It wasn't a fleeting kiss like their last one, but full on and passionate. Part of his mind was screaming bloody murder at him, and the other part was dancing in triumph. All these emotions were pouring out of him, the anger shown in the fact he was gripping Chaos' shirt so hard it was close to ripping, and the triumph reflecting in his kissing. At least in this respect he didn't feel like an amature. He knew how to kiss girls pretty damn well... kissing a guy surely wasn't any different.

Fuck. I am so screwed.
