Well wasn't this just ironic. Jayson Skellington, the kid who was born on Halloween, was going to a haunted house in the middle of September? Well, alright, he told himself that he'd wait for his birthday to come along until he came with some friends but he couldn't contain himself. What could he say, he loved haunted houses and all that was scary. Besides, with a name like Jayson Vincent Skellington, it was just the slight bit expected for you to want to be freaked out of your mind. Or at least have someone attempt to scare the living shit out of you.

He pulled his car into the parking lot of the haunted house and then walked easily towards the entrance. [SINCE I'M SAYING THEY KNOW EACH OTHER] He stood at the front, waiting for Brandon to show up because he figured going alone would be no fun, and he could mess with someone else that wanted to come along for the ride. So why not someone else who seemed cool enough? Yeah, Brandon's cool enough, feel special.

Whee for haunted houses. Brandon had always liked these scary things, which was probably thanks to his too being born on Halloween. The creepy things that went bump in the night kept him very entertained, so obviously he could never turn down a trip to the haunted house that was open in town for the next few months. These places were always his fave, and he'd already been here a few times anyway so he knew what was going to be expected. He'd probably come here once a day for the next two months until this place was closed down at the 'end of season'. How depressing...

It didn't take too long to get down to the haunted house, and he could get there so easily now, as he knew exactly where it was, exactly where to park, and exactly what time to get there so no loser teenagers would be around there making out and/or screaming their ugly faces off. Yuck, much. He hopped out of his van and headed over to the entrance where Jayson was waiting. "Heyy freak," he announced as he came along his friend.

Jayson knew he'd probably be coming here a lot more after this, only bringing girls. What more fun was it to bring a girl who would jump into your arms when she was freaked the hell out? It was tons of fun, that's how much it was. Besides, whenever he hugged them in the middle of it, there was always that chance that the girl would kiss him. Hey, the boy could dream. Kind of like.. mistletoe? Yeah, but Halloween version.

Jayson glanced up to hear Brandon speak to him and he glanced around, acting as if he didn't know that he was speaking to him. "Oh, me? I know, thanks." he said with a bright smirk spread across his face as if he was proud of being a freak. Thing is, he was serious, he was.
