Thanks Red
Sharon's pretty friendly with Ozzy's 3 sisters, they were on her chat show and they appeared on X Factor, so i think they get on. But i think they have gotten a lot closer over the past few years.
Ozzy's brother doesn't see him though (i don't think)
And Aimee, Kelly and Jack have cousins becuase i know for certain they have Terry (and assume they have more just don't no for certain and what their names are etc)

Red - December 10, 2006 04:35 PM (GMT)
i think ozzy and sharon are close with his brothers...but much moreso to his sisters. i actually heard he's talked to his oldest sister Jean every sunday over the phone for a long time.
Sharons Princess - December 10, 2006 09:54 PM (GMT)
Oh, i thought Jack had said something in his book that he doesn't talk to his brother but is close to his sisters?
Terry (their cousin) appeared on the X Factor, as a stylists for sharons acts...(season 1 and i thnk he did sharons hair for season 2 as well.)

Red - December 11, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure he gets on with one of his brothers though, not sure which.
Sharons Princess - December 11, 2006 09:33 PM (GMT)
Oh, i thought jack had said he didnt get on with neither, i could be wrong though..
Red - December 11, 2006 10:32 PM (GMT)
well you read his book and i didn't ;) LOL
i always assumed that ozzy got along with one of them...I've heard him mention his brother who had to get dialysis and how bad it was and all..but i suppose that doesn't mean they talk
Sharons Princess - December 11, 2006 11:17 PM (GMT)

Red - December 11, 2006 11:29 PM (GMT)

sharon is fabulas - December 16, 2006 02:32 PM (GMT)
I think he doesn't talk at all to one of his brothers, but the other he will on the odd occasion. I think its the oldest one that he doesn't speak to at all  ...
Red - December 16, 2006 03:12 PM (GMT)
hmmm...i wonder why not? I'm very curious...
sharon is fabulas - December 16, 2006 04:35 PM (GMT)

I've come to the conclusion that Crazy Babies is my new favorite Ozzy song. what a killer jam, man!!! :headphones: i think I've listened to it 239847 today and I've been bouncing around like a loony. ahhh, i love Ozzy.
Sharons Princess - January 11, 2007 11:17 AM (GMT)
i love crazy babies, was that written about his kids? sorry i have no idea about dates and such as i only became a fan of his music a few years ago lol.
I love crazy babies and i also find myself listening to 'i don't know' over n over, and same old desire, and i also love fire in the sky.
Red - January 11, 2007 11:18 AM (GMT)
no, crazy babies was written about babies that are born addicted to crack  i don't know, desire, and fire in the sky are also all fine songs and they've all been my "new favorite" before
Sharons Princess - January 11, 2007 11:20 AM (GMT)
oh...sorry...i can be pretty stupid at times.
which song would you say was your all time favourite?
Red - January 11, 2007 11:24 AM (GMT)
wow, that's tough. that's like asking me which one of my fingers I like the most
i really love Old LA Tonight. great vocal melody over the bridge...gave me chills when i heard it. i love Suicide Solution namely cause it was the first Ozzy song i ever heard and it made me a fan. Mr. Tinkertrain is another great one...a solid rock your butt off song  and ozzy looks really smokin hot in the video  so yeah, probably one of those three....again, it's hard to choose!
Sharons Princess - January 13, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
i have a new favourite song!
Hell raisor
I love it!
memmie - January 13, 2007 10:00 PM (GMT)
my fave Ozzy songs are:
1) (predictably!) Crazy Train
2) (His cover of) In my Life - i just love how his voice makes the song so much more in depth and emotional than many other versions of the song. its very powerful
3) Mama, I'm Coming Home (so sad, and it reminds me of when he dedicated it to Sharon live on stage during the osbournes when she had cancer)
4) Goodbye to Romance
4) I just want you
5) Gets Me Through
6) Dreamer
7) Shot in the Dark
8) Mr Crowley (love the intro!)
9) No More Tears (again, the intro is awesome)
10) Changes (with Kelly)
To be honest ive never been a great fan of hardcore rock and roll, and i don't know much about Ozzy's music with Black Sabbath. I was surprised how soft he can sound and how emotional a lot of his music is when i first started to listen to him. He is so talented... his music can relate to so many people and i think in some ways his image puts some people off from listening to his lyrics, which is a shame. I'm only saying this because before the osbournes came out i never really listened to any of his music and assumed it would all be about suicide and death. Lol. I was so wrong and now i love him

Hellraiser is my fave too.
Red - January 13, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
Ozzy is the king of heavy melodies indeed. i, for one, have never been a huge huge fan of his lyrics...or any rock lyrics really. the man could sing the phonebook and it would sound great. like i said, what he can do with melodies is amazing. i love listening to the stuff where he does quadruple harmonies over his own voice! incredible! :faint:
but back to lyrics, i think his earlier lyrics are sort of trite and predicitably "metal"-ish...i think his lyrics as he got older where much more mature. i mean, See You On the Otherside? great great lyrics. Running out of Time? awesome stuff.
but as for black sabbath, you guys should try them out. i prefer them to ozzy by himself for the most part...i could recommend some stuff for the new comers to sabbath.
great sabbath tunes:
1. solitude (mellow and gorgeous)
2. planet caravan (mellow)
3. wheels of confusion (great melody)
4. a national acrobat (great quadrupled vocal harmonies by ozzy!)
5. fairies wear boots (just a fun song)
those are some of my persona favorites
if any of you get a chance to listen to those, tell me what you think of them!
Sharons Princess - January 14, 2007 12:00 AM (GMT)
you don't like the lyrics?
:o
I love the lyrics...I love figuring out or speculationg what their about lol.
Red - January 14, 2007 12:02 AM (GMT)
no, it's not that i don't like them. i just...never have really cared about them  like i said, it's all about his melody. not what he even really sings about.
Sharons Princess - January 14, 2007 12:05 AM (GMT)
i know what you mean. old LA tonight that's...stunning, truly stunning...its beautiful.
Red - January 16, 2007 10:58 AM (GMT)

Gene: My kids don't take drugs
January 19, 2007
THERE'S nothing better than music legends having a pop at each other.
And now it is time to add KISS star GENE SIMMONS to my Bitch List.
It seems Gene is fed up of comparisons to OZZY OSBOURNE, after also giving the TV cameras access to all areas of his family life for a reality show.
He blasted: "My family is more structured and they behave properly.
"My kids don't take drugs, they're well mannered and properly disciplined and I don't go letting dogs poop on the carpet.
"I'm not a drug addict - in fact I have never been drunk, I don't smoke or have ever taken drugs and never will."
Gene Simmons: Family Jewels follows Gene, his long-term girlfriend SHANNON TWEED and kids NICK and SOPHIE.
Just don't ask the sexist star why he has never proposed to his former Playmate lover.
He says: "Shannon and I have been happily unmarried for 23 years.
"I lead my life my way. I am the Alpha male and what I say goes.
"The idea of marriage is out of the question."

memo to Gene: at least ozzy didn't spend 30 years torturing us with unbearably bad music and at least he can recognize his own mistakes...not to mention the fact that he doesn't take shots at other musicians.
loser.
Sharons Princess - January 19, 2007 01:36 PM (GMT)
oooh someone has a high opnion of themselves, don't they?
yeah and i bet his reallity tv show is real worth watching...NOT.]
sharon said it was a rubbishs show
and err he should take agood, long, hard look at ozzy, kelly, and jack now. how they've really turne dhtier lives around. and his tv show will never ever follow the succes of the osbournes so there.
he doesnt know what he's on about. and oxxy and sharon did not say 'right kids, i want you to take drugs now'. you cant really blme them, ok sure having a drugaddict father was bound to have its effects, but aimee managed to stay off and do all that and kelly an jack saw what effects it had on ozzy and they chose that path, sharon and ozzy did lay down what drugs can do and it was up to the kids to decide what paths to take.
who does this man think he is?
what pathetic looser.
hes the guy that sharon said his hair was like a birdnest isnt he haha.
Red - January 19, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
honestly, i think exposing children to drugs vs. treating women like sexual objects are just as bad as each other  on his old website, gene had pictures of THOUSANDS of women he had slept with. that's disgusting...way to teach your son that women are special, jack ass.
Sharons Princess - January 19, 2007 06:50 PM (GMT)
me thinks sharon should send him a little present in a tifanny box.
:roflmao:
ugh, about his websites that's absolutely disgusting. he cant talk. your right, exposing kids to drugs and treating womne like that is as bad as each other. what a disgusting man, that's absolutely apllling and err what's that treating is kids exactly? that women are only good for sleeping with and when you've had enough of them cuck the,?
talk about sick, chea, and downright horrible
Red - January 20, 2007 03:47 PM (GMT)
ozzy's been confirmed to do a show in Italy  and there are rumors of him doing a show in Holland as well...i have a feeling he'll be playing the UK as well.
sharon is fabulas - January 20, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
Yay! That sounds hopeful then!
I love Goodbye to Romance, Mr Crowly (i loved when they were on Howard Stern and he sang a bit of it  ) Dreamer, See you on the other side, Symptom of the Universe (black sabbath), So tired, i don't know, desire. Infact i like pretty much all his solo songs. As for Black Sabbath songs, i have a collection of their songs but i just haven't probably listened to them, i know a few though.
Red - January 22, 2007 05:22 PM (GMT)
ozzy's been confirmed for a show in sweden, germany, and italy now. :) it's only time before he announces an english one!
osbournes1fan - January 22, 2007 06:01 PM (GMT)
There is one here! I'm sure! I think its like Camden or somewhere like that! I not 100% sure though! :)
