  Shozzy are in Best this week. It's an article about a poll conducted to see which celeb couples should win an award as the most loved-up. Ozzy and Sharon came second (22%) to Fern Britton and Phil Vickery (26%)  I can't scan but I've typed the article below!!

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne

Number of years together - 29
Children - Aimee, 24, Kelly, 23, and 22 year old Jack, plus adopted son Robert Marcato, 23

"I don't know what I would have done without Sharon. She has been my life. Without her, I'm nothing" Ozzy Osbourne

Sharon and Ozzy have had a tempestuous relationship over the years, but no one can deny the strong bond they share. Sharon, 55, was 17 when she met her future husband, while working as a receptionist for her father, Don Arden, who managed Ozzy's band, Black Sabbath. Their early years were rocky, with fights, alcohol and drug abuse. Once Ozzy, 59, went 'missing' on a three-month drinking spree, another time he fell into his bed with a groupie, forgetting Sharon was there, and in 1989 he famously tried to strangle Sharon. But the couple can't live without each other. When Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer in July 2002, Ozzy had a breakdown. "He was amazing, but he was terrified I was going to die," Sharon said. "He did everything for me though, carried me, washed me, changed me."

I didnt know they adopted Robert

Tallulah - February 12, 2008 02:31 AM (GMT)
They 'unofficially' adopted him, because he was already 18. They moved him into the guest house, and paid for him to go to college / drama school. But of course there was absolutely no ulterior motive in that being heavily covered on The Osbournes at all. :)

QUOTE (Red @ Feb 12 2008, 03:16 PM)
yeah. they totally did all of that for show.

No no, they didn't. It was just complete coincidence that this kid nobody knew about suddenly appeared out of nowhere as one of the family, right in the middle of the recording of a tv series. And stating that if positive publicity wasn't a factor, then why wasn't it done off camera in complete privacy would just be silly.

Yours magazine picked three celebrity couples which they think actually are inlove and one of them was sharon and ozzy. I read it at my nan's it is her magazine. ;) the other two were Phil Vickery and Fern Britton and Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.

Revealed! How the Stars Stay in love
I am tried of seeing celebrities' over -the-top weddings on page after page of a magazine, only to read of their separation just a couple of years later. So here at Yours we are celebrating those famous couples who have understood that marriage is all about what you do after the big day.

Celebrity couples The secret of our happiness
They smile for the cameras, but do you ever wonder if they are REALLY so in love? We reckon these three showbiz couples can't help but show they are...

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne
It's been the craziest of relationships at times, but there's no doubting the strength of one of rock's most famous marriages- Sharon and Ozzy celebrated their silver wedding anniversary last year.
Although they live the celebrity lifestyle, it hasn't alway been easy-they've seen each other through serious illness with Sharon's colon cancer and Ozzy's death- defying quad bike accident and drug and alcohol battles.
After always being this tower of strength, Sharon's illness was a huge wake-up call to Ozzy, who took on her personal care and helped nurse her back to health, tearfully admitting:" She 's not allowed to die before me. I couldn't live without her." The couple also have a suicide pact should either develop a brain disease, as they could not bear to watch each other suffer.
They are given to extravagant gestures, and their marriage might be considered 'way out' by some standards- but you'd never have Sharon in a pinny, or Ozzy down as a pipe- and- slippers man, now would you?

Expert View
Love has kept them together and they couldn't be closer. When one person is creative, the other needs their feet firmly on the ground. If Sharon had been a female Ozzy, it just wouldn't have worked. She's his ballast. She's kept him in line, while still being a sexy lover.
