Title: Women Who Stay

I found this. ;) :)

Women who Stay
Kathy Lee Gifford, Hillary Clinton, and Sharon Osbourne. Women who's husbands have cheated. Women who have chosen to stay in the marriage. I have wondered often about women who stay. Why do they? I see these public women as being three very different examples of why a woman might stay.

Sharon Osbourne

How I love Sharon Osbourne. I love everything I've ever seen about her. Mainly, I love her because she is the wonderful exception to the rule of why women stay. She stayed because she loves him. Truly and genuinely, she loves him exactly as he is. An unconditional romantic love is the rarest love to find. It just doesn't happen. Listen to Sharon Osbourne speak for two minutes, that is not a woman who stays because she is weak. She doesn't stay because she wants her husband to suffer for his mistakes, and she doesn't stay because it is better for her politically. She is a capable woman who is very much in love with a highly imperfect man. She does what everyone else would like to believe they can, but no one else actually does. She loves him exactly as he is, imperfections and all.

What's accurate about it? It's Sharon now, and Ozzy what, decades ago? He may have been 'a highly imperfect man' years ago, but is he now? I don't think so.

Sharon's reasons for forgiving Ozzy's indiscretions are her own, and this is absolute tripe. The woman she's describing is a sad, pathetic doormat. Not Sharon Osbourne at all.

i think sharon would agree to being a sad pathetic woman in the 80s.
and despite all of ozzy's issues, it's been obvious that when he's in at least somewhat sober mind, he worships the ground she walks on.

The splurge of nonsense here is referring to present day Sharon though (or rather Sharon 4 years ago), not Sharon in the 80s. That may have been when she forgave him, but this is based on her comments decades later.

I thought what the writer said about Kathy Lee was unnecessarily harsh.
