Still out here, glad you have finished your ballast change.
I'm pleased that I have no shot ballast in the Evo30, though the ballast in my previous 26 was ok.
And the previous owner of the 26 had removed the keel shotblasted it, galvanished it then coated it in matting and epoxy it is still looking very good some 8 to 10 years later.
Hi West Country Racer
The one user at the bottom of the page is the users online at any one time. If you click on Members at the top of the page, it shows all the registered members.
Getting the site known and finding Evo owners is a big problem. I am currently emailing as many sailing clubs as I can get details for and hopefully, that will spread the word.
Hi I am still here and reading/contribution.
I am currently strengthening up the rudder bracket where it bolts on to the hull. Sail back from Lymington I sprung a leak. It is possible I hit something, anyway the insurance is paying for the damage. (Euromarine, seem professional and fast in responding).
I have also had fitted an outboard bracket in addition to the inboard engine. This is some where to store the tender out board and get me home if all else fails, coming for the school of belts and braces.
Regards Jasper
