Having discoverd the problems with the ballast in the Evo 26 we recently bought I would strongly sugest all owners check for swelling in the top of the ballast indicating a problem. This has the potential to literally rip the boat apart, very slowly.
If the chart table catches on the keel case then deffinatly take a look! Ours stuck firmly against the case before we removed the rusting mess that used to be ballast, it now has 3 mm clearance.

I am currently debating suing the surveyor, Im not sure it is actually worth the time and effort.
