For an idea of what information to give, have a look at my boat profile under ‘Cayman’. First, please register on the site home page. Your email address will not be revealed to anyone else who registers on the site. Before you can post your boat details or anything else, your membership has to be authenticated.

To add text you can write it online, just click ‘new topic’. Or to do it offline do the following. Compose your boat profile in your word processor program. When you are happy with it, drag the curser over it with the left button of the mouse depressed, to highlight it. In ‘edit’ (top left) click ‘copy’ and this will transfer it to your clipboard.
Then on the website click ‘Your boat details’, click ‘new topic’, then left click where you want the text to go. Under ‘edit’ (top left) click ‘paste’ and your text will appear.

To add a photo to your post you can use a site such as Image Zone or Photobucket. http://www.photobucket.com
For Photobucket, first complete the registration process. Click on ‘Albums/albums upload’. Click ‘Browse’ to add a photo from your computer and click ‘upload’. You can resize the picture if necessary. When the photo has uploaded copy the IMG code and then paste it into your post.
