Evolution 26Fast, fun and confortable boat in beautiful condition. All rigging replaced in past three years, interior completely refurbished four years ago. Very reluctant sale.For general info on the Evolution 26 the PBO article of Nov 2005 is excellentDetails:The boat is very fast - I've not raced formally but normally expect to beat any other boat on the water up to around 30 foot or more. I've experienced sailing in anything up to a 7 and she goes along very nicely in all conditions.The hull was made with an extra layer of one of the coats and as a result is still in great condition. No signs of osmosis whatsoever and the topsides are still in excellent condition.The deck is very spacious and easy to move around, while the cockpit is huge with plenty of lounging spaceThe cabin is also very spacious for the size of boat simply because it is very beamy. Note that the colour of the upholstery is better than it looks in the photos - these have made it pinker and blander than it really is. All the internal joinery is in very good condition - I believe the previous owner did quite a lot of refurbishment the year before I bought the boatNew mainsail in 2007. No 1, reefable no 2 and cruising chute all in v good condition though I don't know their age.
