My favourite game type would be RPGs, close tie with Fighters though, Fighters and Adventure are close runner ups for me. :D

RPGS and games with a gripping storyline ftw! <3

I like RPG's with a good story lines and not too many cutscenes.

I like games with many cut-scenes, as it adds to the story. Everyone seems to hate games like Xenosaga and Kingdom Hearts 'cause they say it's "more movie than game". Who cares. Video games are BETTER than books and movies because they combine the best of both into one seriously awesome package.

btw, RPGs are the best type of game because they utilize the best, and funnest systems for gaming, and have the better storyline more often than not.
Exceptions, there are. But few, they number.

Puzzle games are fun for a kick once in awhile as well. Go Tetris.

I agree with the cut scene thing, Kovu. For most games, it makes the story more interesting, especially the games where there are voiceovers in the cutscenes but not in the normal gameplay as I feel it lets you understand the chars more.

No surprise, the anime-watching, Japan-loving crowd usually prefers RPGs, XD.

I like RPGs the best, but I can appreciate a fighting or action game. Adventure too, but Zelda is really the only one in that genre that I like. Games in other genres I only like if they're exceptional, like Mario. I won't just buy any 'okay' platformer. I hate any and all sports games. =[

My favorite game genre is Rpg's, i love the storylines and the characters that rpg's have.

I also chose adventure, which is my second favorite genre.
