I listen to Greenday, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Killers mostly. Linkin Park is alright. :D

The Killers are good, too. I like Hot Fuss more than Sam's Town, though. Brandon Flowers did something weird to his voice on the new CD.

I would assume the ones you've heard are "Time Is Running Out" and "Hysteria," which are, by no means, the best of their work.

I'm not a fan of rap, really. At least not mainstream rap, because the lyrics are almost always trash.

I listen to linkin park and stuff to not just tupac :D

You know what's awesome about Linkin Park? They actually succeded in getting followers of rap and rock to listen to their stuff. Linkin Park and Fort Minor is the only rap I'll listen to, cuz their lyrics are clean I guess.

I'm of the opinion that Linkin Park is the crappiest crap to ever crap.

Talk about formulaic music! 98% of their music follows the EXACT same formula. In fact, believe it or not, you can oftentimes sing one of their songs over another and have it fit perfectly. Why? Exact same chordal progressions, exact same dynamics. Everything. You can perform "My December", "Crawling", "In the End" and so many others on top of each other (sans lyrics of course) and it'd sync up almost perfectly.

Now when I said 98% earlier, it's because their newest album might actually account for that last 2%.

On the other hand, the only song of theirs I'll listen to ever is "Breaking the Habit." and even that's a stretch.

My favourite band so far is Three Days Grace. Although, I have many other I enjoy, that's just in general. I love Rock, Hard Rock, and some Screamo.

Rap is just irriting. I love music lyrics, and 95% of the time Rap music is just a bunch of shallow, superficial word's that should be burned alive.

I agree about rap being sucky.

Most of the time they steal the rhythm track off another song (poor Led Zeppelin, so many people have copied their songs xD) and then place some right shitey lyrics on top of it. mostly about women or drugs with "nigger whut" and "HUH!", "woo!" "ah yeah!" thrown in every ten seconds.

I agree on the whole topic of rap and it's major suckage.

But there are a few exceptions to me. Namely, MC Lars and Gym Class Heroes. They aren't sterotypical rappers like the others. MC Lars= "Post Punk Laptop Rap" that makes English Liturature and Sci-Fi references. His song, Generic Crunk Rap, is great cause it makes fun of the stereotype rap.

As for Gym Class Heroes...well...they sound different! The have ACTUAL instruments as opposed to most rappers. They also are into bands like Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, Fall Out Boy, etc...

Anyway, for other generic raps, I have a very small tolerance for them since I have to listen to them at work when my MP3 dies. ;_____;

Rap does not suck or anything like it ..... just listen to tupac's original music and tell me you still think he's crap. gym class hero's and all is good aswell but tupac is just legendary haha :P
