Ok Episode 28 Aired today! This is a very good episode. I will highlight some of the major points.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!


In this episode we see that word has created a new type of mind gear called Nero Gear. Moordryd steals it from his father and makes Cain test it for him. The testing is done during another Academy tryout race. During this race there is an accident were where the new gear lands on Beau and Artha. After the gear lands on them a Mag-- overload causes their minds to be swapped. So now the pair must learn to live in each others bodies and learn to each others jobs. They learn just hard it is to be each other. The Penn Crew finds the gear and try’s to reverse the accident. But before they can do it Moordryd and Cain steal it back and set a trap for the Dragon Booster. During this trap and fight Beau & Artha figure out a way to use the trap to change them self’s back to normal. This episode is fun of the same gags and funny stuff we have come to expect. I was on the each of my seat the whole time.

Wow... I need to see this episode! The Jetixes down here haven't even gotten to Season Three! <_< Does Artha understand the dragons and we get more personality out of 'em?

Ok. We see no interaction between Artha as Beau and other dragons, so I can't answer the first part. I do believe he gains some more understanding of what is like to be dragon, specially the dragon of ledged and how hard it is for Beau to manage Mag energy and protect him all while going 200 Miles/H, and yes I think he has more personality to show for it.

I just saw it! It was a good episode, but why couldn't Beau talk through Artha? He's intelligent enought! I'd like to se what's on Beau's mind one day. And i think that it's called neural gear, or neuro gear

Whooo hoo!!! :) :) :) I think im losing my sanity waiting for these 23 min. to go by. :wacko: :wacko: :wacko: AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! :P :P I wonder what Beau's personality will be. Maybe "Artha" will all of a sudden start walking after the lady dragons and start sniffing them or something.Artha will be "Cool,i'm the Dragon of Legend!!!"

Heh, I'm watching it right now. I think that the reason 'Beau in Artha' can't talk because, like 'Artha in Beau' can't control the mag energy, 'BiA' can't properly control the vocal cords, and articulate words.

Plus, it's just funny. :D

OK i saw it!!!!! HOLY MOLY!!!!!!!!! :P So far, that is the greatest animation i have ever seen!!! When i watched it,right at the begining i knew it was going to be different. 1st,there were the 2 Academy guys, but then i just saw the fluid motion with the charachters,mainly with The Penn Crew and Word. Word just looked WAY diiferent. They were just so.......fluid. The episode was just so,so,different. In a good way of course. But i was dissapointed a bit too. 1st the interview with Centrus didn't go very long, and how Artha and Beau fought Moordryd and Cain. Moordryd and Cain just go running off for the Nero gear. And that's it. But i was EXTREMELY impressed by "Artha's" roar. Seriously, it was actually good as, or even better than some of Beau's roars. But that was great animation i think.Absolutly remarkable. :)

And how Word said to Moordryd "Go clean your Compund." It seriously sounded like go clean your room. Maybe Word is actually steping up to the father role. :P And how at the end the real Beau and Artha trick Parm into making him think that they weren't changed back yet. Artha's leaning over the feeding trough thingy, while Beau was laying down, moving the VIDD game contrller with one claw.It looked really drac. It was hilarious! :P Then Parm goes running off screaming
"LANCE!! KITT!!! MR.PENN!!" It was kind of akward to hear someone call Connor Mr.Penn. And when,after the race with those to Academy guys, when Artha was talking to the crew, Beau's facial expressions are WAY better! He has more sounds and grunts too! But his lips have WAY more ways of moving now! It looks REALLY REALLY DRAC!!!!!! :P :) B)

Finally season three. Took long enough. I missed it but it sounds really good, can't wait to see it the next time it airs. :D

I really enjoyed seeing Artha as Beau... really cool animation in those sequences. That gag at the end was great, eh!

This season is definitely the best yet! Just wait until you see what's coming! B)

I agree a 100% with Airly.

The brain/body switch plot really has been done to death, but I still found this a rather cute, fun episode, largely for the little gags here and there and for the fact that it didn't seem to take itself very seriously at all. The 'oh crap' expression on Cain's face when Moordryd told him he had special job for him to do was priceless.

And the final twist with the Nero Gear was pretty neat, where it almost seemed as if Artha and Beau were not really dealing with Artha's mind in Beau's body and visa versa any more, but a sort of single entity sharing two minds and two bodies... neat! Foreshadowing something maybe?

(Nero gear? Was that what the new black gear was called? Haha, that's awesome. Now I'm TOTALLY wondering if the name 'Nero Gear' was a little inside nudge towards the movie Strange Days... the black gear itself almost resembled a SQUID, the sensory recorded 'memory' software for which was sold by a man named Lenny Nero... ;) )

Neural gear, actually, according to Close Captioning, and yeah, that was priceless. :lol:

Holy shoot! A new DB episode! WH0000000007! (But I thought it was Framed...) Get ready for a review! (And get ready for ZOMG SPOILERSH.) :P

Whoa. I remember asking Sarah Frost about what would happen if Artha was suddenly changed into a dragon? That was an example, but guess what? Artha DID change into a dragon! In fact, it's the Mind-Switching episode. I always wanted a mind/body-switching epp...

So Word doesn't take snide comments from anybody? So Moordryd is finally rebelling? That's a subplot that might be interesting to see...(And speaking of Moordryd, YAY! NO ARMEGGADDON IN DIS EPP! *throws party*) Ughh...except there should've been more expression and emotion from Moordryd when Word makes the cliche remark comments about the Shadow Booster being "the son he never had..." (Yeah, right in front of Moordryd's face. Just shove it in his face, will you, Word? :rolleyes:)

Cain gets a bigger role, a bigger one than Leap of Lorius! Yay! :D I actually THINK he might try rebelling against Moordryd in the near future; kinda seems like it...

However, I'm gonna have to say that this episode was very predictable. From the part where Artha said that he wished HE was the dragon, I groaned, tapped my head and said, "Oh, boy, he's gonna switch bodies with Beau!" And I was right. For some reason as well, I didn't really go crazy over this particular mind-switching epp. And, sheesh, why Artha and Beau? Why not, saaaaay, one of the other characters, like Parm and Cyrano? Or Word and Moordryd? (Yeah, THAT will be interesting. And I'm not being sarcastic, either, that would be interesting.)

Basically, I think there should've been more man-to-man (or, er, dragon :)), face-to-face interaction somehow...yes, I'm fully aware that Beau is in a human body (henceforth, he makes Artha look like a frog while walking on four legs and like an idiot making Artha eat messy dragon food (NEWS FLASH! THEY EAT SOGGY, MUSHY BROWN DRAGON FOOD HIGHLY RESEMBLING DOG FOOD! Damn, I wanted something else...) etc, etc...) and Artha can't talk, and I rather liked how realistically that went (when Sentrus was busy staring at them weirdly when they started grunting, I couldn't stop chuckling). But Artha handled Beau's role a bit well, so I would've thought he could interact in some type of way (like, actually tripping "himself" over, while Beau glares at him, THAT'S interaction).

That Dragon Fish and Dragon Flare Academy Racer? BOTH THOSE GUYS ARE SNOBS! *pulls out a gun but realizes it's fake* Damn...well, if their characters becomes a bit more interesting than just a snob, I'll consider something, like taking the time to make them the butt of a million upcoming jokes if so. And I need to see Sentrus more. Well, at least she's not a one-time character, and I don't think these arrogant athletes are one-time characters either.

I guess for me, this was an okay episode. Parm fainting and freaking out was hilarious, and Moordryd seems to have been developing a more snide edge in his character. Lance needed more dialogue and screen time, and so far, Conner's okay. Plus, I want to see what happens with Cain, Sentrus, and those two snobby dudes. I still wish there was more interaction with Artha and Beau, though.

I also want the relationship to go a bit more complex with the Word/Moordryd subplot (no, not that, you slashers! XD). Yeah, we get it, Word's a perfectionist and wants Moordryd to be the perfect son, whereas Moordryd the perfectionist realizes that perfectionism just for his father isn't everything and starts rebelling without thought...oy vey.

There needs to be more depth! Like, maybe some OTHER bits of interaction than just "Do this Moordryd!" "But WHY?" "Cause I said so son!" "Yes dad!" "And get me that powerful gold dragon and pwn the Dragon Booster's butt" "Yes dad!" or "Hey son, listen up, I'm gonna tell you about my new evil scheme" or "Show your elders a heckuva lotta respect, 'specially ME" or "Okay, you're not paying attention to me, dad, so I'll just listen to this talking amulet thingy that seems to be VERY influencial for me and become Shadow Booster and pwn all j00 pplz". That Dead Parent Wangst in "Faster Than Fear"? You're damn right that's Dead Parent Wangst, but the thing I liked about that? THEY ACTUALLY TALKED ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE THAN SINISTER SCHEMES AND SHTUFF. Let's have Moordryd realize that there's something about his father that he didn't know about, or let's have Word actually take the time to think about what he's doing, or how he's treating Moordryd, while just letting it slide again. That's more depth on their characters.

It must be nice to have Close Captioning. I can't get it where I live. Stupid no man land!

I searched for DB on Dish, and it had something on ToonDisney without any info. I remember hearing something on TD about "New episodes of Dragon Booster on Mondays," but I don't know if they are still using that...

If I remeber right, you live in Canada, DB on the CBC Network only aires on Fridays and Saturdays. I know! *Hisssss*

That explains a lot; my computer isn't in the same room as my TV, so I gotta run upstairs to my room, watch part of a recording, go back downstairs and type up the parts, go back and watch that same part AGAIN to see if I missed anything, and I'm sure you understand how it works. :P
