And of course, I made a typo in the poll question, the one place it doesn't allow me to edit. I'm not sure how I managed to get the "o" from episode at the end of the line. Oh well. I really wish this board had a built-in spell check... <_<

That better? :)
'Pride' beat 'Libris' for me by a small margin called 'development'.
The Furox - May 20, 2005 05:00 AM (GMT)
Cool! It let's the admin edit that. That's good to know. Thanks!
And yes, it's tough picking one episode, especially since different episodes have different strengths. I went with "Horn of Libris" because I like the story, pacing, cinematography, and music. Plus I just find it fun to watch.

Three Times A Hero.
Cracked me up into an omelet. XD

Three Times a Hero. Why? Three words: Parm's Pink Panties.
Professor Parmon - March 21, 2006 04:18 AM (GMT)
I picked Misjudged. I don't know why... it just stuck out as the one I remebered most in the block of shows in this poll group!

Out of the ones you have listed. Deffinantly Pride Of A Hero. I love watching cockey people fall and Artha gets to expeirance that first hand.

hmm I voted for the Track of Doom because I really enjoyed that episode! plus orange dragons rock! :P hahaha but the real reason was about the whole "mind control" over the humans who willingly gave up their freedom just to do their bidding; very interesting ;)
but I liked all the episodes really, so hard to choose hahah :D

This is one of my season 1 favorites as well. The story is laid out and paced very well, and Propheci is a great character.

They do! :) That loud color scheme of orange with red and blue is great. It's like Furox, the intense colors are like a visual warning that they're dangerous. Plus I love that sinister leer that's on Propheci's face all the time. ;) And the animation on Propheci was great. I really enjoy watching him. :P To me, whenever there's a villain that I like to watch, it's always a sign of a good villain and good story.
Also, this was the first episode that made it clear that dragons could be the intellectual equal of humans. As a dragon fan, that's the way I wanted them to be and I was glad to see this episode establish that they're not just animals being lead around by the humans. Here you've got a group of dragons running their own crew. Cool!

Yeah, it's like a cult, isn't it. The humans believe in their leader and their purpose so much that they'll do anything.

It is. There are a number of season 1 episodes I really like, then add in season 2 and it gets really tough to choose a favorite. I can't wait for season 3! :plot:

I've gotta say The Stand. I loved that eppie. One of my favourites.
vysox - June 7, 2006 11:44 PM (GMT)
the stand, eye of the dragon, three times a hero, the return of drakkus part 2,and framed are the best episodes so far
silverwing - June 8, 2006 12:55 AM (GMT)
I liked the lost track of doom. It introduced new dragon characters that could actually communicate with the humans themselves even though it was through other humans. It had a really good plot that showed the develpment of other dragons besides Beau. :cookie:
Arthapenn - January 24, 2008 07:55 AM (GMT)
I choose Pride of the Hero, like everyone else. It has a good storyline, and it shows Artha forcing himself to admit his pride was wrong. Moordryd was not too happy, when Artha rescued him. It shows that Moordryd can be good.
My second episode is Misjudge. It is towards the ending, when Kawke's mistake cost the ground to break apart. Artha changed into the Dragon Booster, and he is instructing his brother to use the White Rappel Gear. The Penn brothers working together in a tight position. I like it, when Beau used his new skills (via the Furox) to grip the wall. If you remember the Gargoyles from the Disney Channel, Beau's climbing skills are like the Gargoyles. Lance, Kitt, and Parmon, could only sit tight in their seats, while Beau do all the hard work!
Elushun - January 26, 2008 05:09 PM (GMT)
I liked The Stand. The whole evil Beau thing did get old later on, but this was the first evil Beau ever, and it was quite the classic good vs. evil tale that makes this show so fun to watch.
