Title: Dragon Booster Cg
phsycopathicdragon - February 18, 2006 02:51 AM (GMT)
Anyone here know what CG program they use to make Dragon Booster in? Do you think that you could get it anywhere? If anyone saw that short clip on CBC where Morgan Waters went to Nerd Corps and they were making fun of artha by making funny faces, i am wondering if anyone got that on tape. If they did, could they zoom in and see what program they use? I'm really interested in what they use, so if anyone knows the littelest thing, plz post it here Pre-thanks to those who know something :)

I think *I may be wrong* that people use a program called MAYA.

I have no clue. I know the main 3D programs are MAYA and POSER. My dad has poser, and I am pretty good at it. Mind, it's a pain in the butt to get animation done.... <_<

As Elginman said, they use Softimage. Here's an article about it:
RENAISSANCE OF THE NERDS: Nerd Corps Gets Busy On Dragon BoosterIf you're interested in trying your hand at CG animation, there's a free version of Maya you can get if you look in the Artist Resources section of on
Fracshun's Fan Art. Be aware though, that it's a major learning curve. It makes Photoshop look like child's play. :)

Thank you all for all the info!! Now im gonna look up those programs, and see if the're compatable with normal computers, since I know that some CG programs require their own type of computers. Thanks again for the info!
