Title: Episode 29?
Description: ...PAYNN'S DEATH?! The heck?!

Skylii - January 25, 2006 04:23 AM (GMT)
For the Wikipedia's sake, I sure hope this was a prank, because I nearly had a heart attack when I visited the Dragon Booster article and saw this.

Now, I have all the reason to believe that THAT is fake, mainly because

A ) It's the Wikipedia. Under any circumstances, try not to trust the Dragon Booster Wikipedia article (yes, I go on it a couple of times or so, but I know how cluttered it can be).

B ) I believe the first Season 3 episode is called Paynn Rising, not Paynn's Rising. Somebody could've just thought a bit and then infered a prank to get us in anticipation.

C ) Lower cases. That's the work of poor grammer.

D ) How was this information provided or found out? This isn't even the episode after Paynn Rising (which, by the way, hasn't even been aired yet); it's two episodes away, and it hasn't been aired yet. There is no legitimate proof of this.

E ) The word "death" is usually forbidden in a kid show like Dragon Booster. However, this point may be eliminated; in "Darkness Falls", Artha used the phrase, "He'll kill me!", with an emphasis on "kill".

F ) I cannot see either Moordryd or Word Paynn dying. I just cannot, and if I can, well, not yet, not now.

Thus, I think this Wiki info is false, and just inserted there without good reason. But still...makes you wonder...

Professor Parmon - January 25, 2006 04:27 AM (GMT)
I have to agree, I beleave it to be fake as well.

Airshadow - January 25, 2006 04:57 AM (GMT)
i GUESS that incase that that happen the most liekly to die is Word than Moordryd

Hunter - January 25, 2006 05:27 AM (GMT)
if Paynn dies, *pop* bring on the champaine!!!whoo hoo!!! i hope its true.sorry guys but yeah, i do.

Serenity Dragon - January 25, 2006 07:11 AM (GMT)
Well, they never gave a first name...for all we know, it could be about Zulay...but sinse i highly doubt that's the case, it probably is a fake.

SilverDragon - January 25, 2006 08:35 AM (GMT)
NO!!! YOU CAN'T KILL MOORDRYD!!! OR WORD!!! OR EVEN ZULAY AND I'VE NEVER HEARD MUCH OF HER BUT SHE CAN'T DIE EITHER!!!!!!

Sorry, I just think those characters don't deserve to die.

But still, would be intresting plot twist.

(grabs Artha-bashing stick)
Artha: Oh, thanks!
SilverDragon: Yeah. Bashing you was fun while it lasted (marches over to person who entered the episode 29 in the list)

Kereea - January 25, 2006 11:53 AM (GMT)
It's pry a trick, but if it's true....it'll either be Zulay or Word. I doubt that they'll kill Moordryd.

Cepheus - January 26, 2006 02:17 AM (GMT)
I don't see why, if they do, they're going to kick Word's bucket in the middle of the show. How many shows do you see that the main villain dies in the middle of the show? Unless their planning on making Moordryd the main villain?

Baby_Beau - January 26, 2006 02:31 AM (GMT)
GAHHH!!!!! *throws body in front of Moordryd for protectiom* Don't worry Moordryd! I'll save you!!!!!!

Airshadow - January 26, 2006 02:58 AM (GMT)
All Moordryd fans' club ran to save him

Cepheus - January 26, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
I can't blame them. Next it'll be Moordryd...

Airshadow - January 26, 2006 03:01 AM (GMT)
HE WONT!!!!

Kay Yasha - January 26, 2006 04:51 AM (GMT)
It's gotta be a prank.
Calm down fellow Paynn fans. They can't be killed. It's a pg or g rated show. It's simply not allowed these days.
Anyway, it's half way through the series. Word is the major bad guy, so he can't go. And Moordryd is only evil to live up to Word's standards. Without Word he's not a bad guy.
And if Zulay dies...well, Moordryd's familly gets more screwed up.

Well, it is supposed that Zulay is dead...or is somewhere...

Daigerus - January 26, 2006 05:41 AM (GMT)
Either way, it's doubtful that anyone's going to get killed, since nobody has been since the beginning of the series. Even the warrior dragons live on through their bone marks and a lot of things that should have been dead *coughancientwarriorscough* are now alive.

Methinks death is not going to be a big issue in later episode. But in irony, quoted by Lance from Return of Drakkus Part 1 when he sees the giant shadow dragon:

"We're not going to make it out [alive]."

Or something like that. Memory sucks like a horseshoe.

My assumption exactly. Zulay seemed to be revealed as dead in "Faster Than Fear". If not, then she's somewhere out there in the world (of Dragon Booster). As far as I know, Sentrus isn't Zulay, but we'll see.

Now, Word dying...I'm not sure if I can see death in his future for a character like him. He's not exactly inhumane to the point of freaking people out. Now, Moordryd dying completely obliterates the Good Moordryd Sub-Plot. And Zulay we all know is the heavy mystery here.

As for THIS...*points to supposed Epp 29* We'll see. CBC is still doing a few re-runs since Paynn Rising.

Katana - January 27, 2006 03:44 PM (GMT)
But, He is a main character, can't kill it at beginning of the season, must be only a title.

Kereea - January 27, 2006 10:44 PM (GMT)
Or...we could have Arrmeggadonn start controling him, and then Armeggadonn will tell whomever witnesses it (probably decepshun, Lance, or Cain) "The Moordryd Payyn you knew is dead. And he isn't coming back." Even though he will.......

Good point. Moordryd can't die..it's just.....not possible.

Cepheus - January 27, 2006 11:09 PM (GMT)
I wouldn't think they'd kick the two main villains. Then what'd they do? Turn Lance into Mini-Brat: The Avenger? Or Parm: The Technobabbler? Not much of a new villain to make up for the lost ones.

Very good point. It could make for a good episode, but it'd be kinda predictable, wouldn't it? I mean, if you already know he'd be coming back...

That's a good point! I think that's probably what'g going to happen.

Hunter - January 27, 2006 11:38 PM (GMT)
O.k, whoever came up with the idea of having a Paynn die,*shines up a trophy*would be one of the smartest people i've ever heard of! :P They shoudn't kill Zulay cuz' we barely know anything about her.And Word,we should keep him because he speaks so nicly, and Dragon Booster always beats him. :P So that leaves Moordryd, bye bye Moordryd.Yeah, i hate him. :ph43r:

Khatah - January 28, 2006 12:01 AM (GMT)
what if word fakes his death to make dragonbooster thing hes dead that way word could do things that he couldnt do when he was alive

Like what things??!? I can't think of anything.....

Khatah - January 28, 2006 12:20 AM (GMT)
he could be like mortis fake his own death then come back as someone else so he could pretend to be friends with penn racing and could find out who dragonbooster was

Airshadow - January 28, 2006 12:54 AM (GMT)
HE could do that, bu he just need to be persuasive and pretend that he changed to get his goals, that's more according with him

Any idea why you hate Moordryd? (No, "he's a bad guy" "he's ugly" "he's a unibrow" and anything like that does not count. "I just do!" is also a bad excuse. ;))

Word IS a rather interesting character, but he's too predictable. All he does is scheme, lecture, laugh, scheme, lecture, laugh, scheme, lecture laugh...even though Zulay was Dead/Divorced/Missing Parent Wangst in Faster Than Fear, I loved the change in his character. :D

Yes! That sounds like a good cartoon twist! :)

Ah, I see what you're saying. That way, he can just continue scheming and laughing, but with everybody thinking he's dead. Then at the last moment, BAM! In your face, Penn!

Kairos~Lokorr - January 28, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
Wouldn't think a Ex-paynn would be real likely. Any of the Paynn's dieing doesn't seem real likely at this point unless it's someone new in the family that's got a REAL short life expectancy. :P
Or a complete fake out which is prolly more likely if the the title's true.

Mari - February 12, 2006 06:39 PM (GMT)
Well, if anybody has checked Wikipedia recently, they said that the next ep is Paynn's Return.......... hmmm............

Noy yet

Who will be "killed"? Moordryd or Word?

Baby_Beau - February 14, 2006 11:09 PM (GMT)
... Maybe it means everybody finds out about Word's devious plans and his company and fortune 'die'... just a thought!

The Power of FIRE - February 14, 2006 11:10 PM (GMT)
O.O maybe...

Baby_Beau - February 15, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
:P I think i just thought of that because I like the word 'devious'. :P But it is a theory!

Monty - February 17, 2006 06:18 PM (GMT)
Maybe it does a kind of flash back about Zulays death?

I must agree. I could quote about 2 dozen case of misdireced information. Done onpurpuse by one side or another of a debate or by some one with a grudge! All you have to do is sign up.

Hi everybody!

We're calling episode 29 "Framed" over here, so I'm pretty sure that article is false.

Of course, this doesn't mean Word Payne won't get into some serrious trouble a few episodes later!
