Paynn Rising just aired on CBC on Jan. 23. OMG Very Drac episod. I will not post any information just yet, I need to review the tape.

We get to see either Zulay or Machina at the Extreme G track.(more likely Zulay. She seemed quite impressed that Artha won the race... Makes you wonder if they are brothers....) Artha gets into the Academy. Zulay/Machina looks ALOT like a female Moordryd so... You decide.

I would think it would be Machina. I haven't seen the episode for myself, but the way word talks about her in "Faster Than Fear", I think she died. Oh, how he misses her... :P

It was actually more likely Zulay. She was in a MUCH higher position then a Mechanist would be allowed, even a leader. She was pretty much the head of the Academy...I'm pretty sure the end credits said Zulay. (It kinda flashed by so... :P)

It just doesn't seem as if Word would really let his "beloved" wife get up and go. Maybe she's an actual honorable person, something not common in a Paynn, but she married into the family, so who knows?

Heh... She looks freakishly like Word too so... (Inbreeding!)

Here is a quick summery!

In this episode we start out with Artha and Moordryd in a new type of race called Extreme-G competition. It takes place in cross breed set-up of Gauntlet and Leap of Loris conditions. Sledding through Drag tubes, and gliding out on to a gantlet like ski hill. We also met a new character for the Academy. Moordryd has learned to do some of MAG stuff seen in Return of Drakkus, and uses it against Artha in the first part of the race. During the middle of the episode there is a dispute between Word à Conner ß Artha. We also find out that Conner has come back to open up his stable, And he explains more about his past and the dragon of legend. After the first race and the story development with Artha & Conner, we see what Moordryd turns into with his armour. The Shadow Booster. We also see the first interaction between the Shadow Booster and the Dragon Booster. Now we move to the last of the Academy test races with a number of regulars in it this time. During this race we see Moordryd using his new powers to try and stop Artha form winning and getting into the Academy. Later in the race Artha has to use his now found MAG abilities for Return of Drakkus to will, and to save himself, and has to gain new skills. In the end winning. And learning more about his powers. At the end we get some of that canon sue stuff for the last minuit or so.

Please tell me she doesn't have the Paynn eyebrow! Ewwww!

She doesn't! (Thank you God!... And Nerd Corps people!) She's quite pretty but she has a birthmark like thingy on her upper lip and is very pale.

T.T Artha..in the ACADEMY?? that's unexpected!!!!

Nope. The racers were her, artha, Mordrydd, Wulph and Phistus. Artha and Mordrydd were the only finishers but Artha was the only winner.

That sucks. Everybody else has been racing a lot longer than Artha! (No offense to the Artha fans!) I thought the academy was only for younger racers. If it is, why is Phistus racing?

The Academy is like a racing University. The advanced riders go there.

Her name was Sentrus, and it was unacknowledge if she was Zulay. Most likely NOT Machina, or even Chute.

Anyway...HOLY CRUD LIKE OHMIGOSH SEASON 3 NEW EPPIE!!! SQUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! *runs around in circles crazily*

*stops, clears throat* Okay, uh, anyway, time for my recap. (And yes, of COURSE there'll be spoilers. :rolleyes: )

Extreme G: WHERE'S CHUTE?! Ah, who cares. BEST. ACTION. OVERLOAD. EVER. :o :D Even better than Leap of Lorius! I'd race in that thing, but I think I'd die!

So Moordryd can mag fire, or as it's called, mag push. Also, we learn that this isn't an old, ancient method; it's used in higher class racing.

So Word...was bald too? :blink: Except for that...ponytail thing at the back of his head. He didn't seem to really like Connor, though. (A punch in the face...oww, that's gotta hurt...) Also, they looked rather shorter than Artha and Moordryd...

At first, I had the impression that A ) Sentrus was our next ebil villain and B ) that lady was Moordryd's mother. Though, it didn't really seem like it. I want to see more of her ambitions. For now, her motives seem unclear, yet suspicious...and the whole "Sentrus is Zulay thing" still has yet to be proven...

Word and Moordryd father/son smugness against Connor/Artha, the underdogs. ...Excuse me, I need to go to the bathroom. *slaps hand over mouth and runs* (Something about that moment, was unquestionably cheesy.)

Whoa, now it's the previous Dragon Priest learning the lesson, and yet, even the hero son learns the lesson. :) (Connor and Artha are still fighting. Hmm...)

It's official: he who tries to kill his own son, is he who is a madman. (Though Moordryd with all those sweet moves Armeggaddon taught him...*insert fangirl scream here* Only thing I will appreciate Armeggaddon for doing...)

...SHADOW BOOSTER?! *screams* No! Noooooooo! Why did you have to give yourself the name SHADOW BOOSTER?! With ANOTHER long transformation! (Which, by the way, was a bit better than Artha's, and plus, outfit: much cooler.) You could've just called yourself Drakkus, for cryin' out loud! ARRRGGGHH!!! *faints*

Hey, wait a minute...*gives smug grin* Check user 67, Tanis Blair, and look at the photo the user displays.




I believe that would be someone working on the show, who knew about Moordryd/Shadow Booster, and if not, then it's a very, very strange coinkidink... :rolleyes:

(Oh, there holding a contest on CBC kids for a DB daily question asking about Shadow Booster. MUST, WIN, DS AND DB DS GAME!!! *sprints over there*

Armeggaddon should be shot and should die before I die first from his easy influencial ways and all that obvious Destiny crud he keeps feeding Moordryd. (TV Screen blocking...cartoon only...cannot, use, gun...)

Kitt's racing again! :D I loved the part where she just zoomed past arguing Artha and Moordryd, and then Moordryd zoomed past her. (Yes...I also ship M/K for delusional humor...:P)

All in all, best action DB episode yet, but as for storyline, not so much. I was a bit confused about Lance's little line "I miss Mortis" at the end, and Connor saying that he was Mortis; probably because I didn't see RoDII. Crud...

Yes, please!!!, any picture, but if you can add a picture of Machina and/or from Moordryd as the shadow booster would be so drac! :D please
