ShadowCat - April 28, 2005 06:43 AM (GMT)
I just got an iPod shuffle! It holds 1 GB worth of stuff, which is probably more than I need. I was looking at the other types of iPod, but they have screens, which means I can't use them. The shuffle doesn't have a screen or anything, so I'll be able to use it no problem! Angela got an iPod Mini with 4 GB of space. I think it's got games and stuff on it.

LightningFlash - April 28, 2005 09:49 AM (GMT)
*sigh* I want an ipod mini, a blue one.

After Sims 2. :D

ShadowCat - April 28, 2005 10:16 AM (GMT)
Angela's is silver, because that's all the shop had. We had to go all around Townsville looking for one. The other shops all had the iPod shuffle and the normal iPod, but they didn't have the mini one! We finally found one in Officeworks!

LightningFlash - April 28, 2005 10:31 AM (GMT)
Officeworks?

They're everywhere in Harvey Norman here, but close to four hundred dollars, soo . . . <_<

ShadowCat - April 28, 2005 10:38 AM (GMT)
Harvey Norman was one of the shops we looked in first. Someone told us to try Officeworks, so we did.
My iPod shuffle was only $230. Angela's iPod mini was $300.

LightningFlash - April 28, 2005 10:43 AM (GMT)
WHAT? Unfair prices! *Walks off muttering*

ShadowCat - April 28, 2005 11:18 AM (GMT)
I saw one of the bigger iPods that was almost $600!

LightningFlash - April 28, 2005 11:28 AM (GMT)
My whole sound system cost less than that! :o

ShadowCat - April 28, 2005 11:30 AM (GMT)
I'll bet!
Things just seem to be getting more and more expensive these days!

Natalilly - April 29, 2005 02:59 AM (GMT)
I own one of those bigger ipods. it's called an iRiver and there's a very VERY good reason why it costs $600 upward.
iPods suck. alot. they're a rip off and have not only a very limited battery life, to replace the battery you have to pay more then you bought the ipod with. A con, in other words, like fecking mobile phones (sore point. I had to sacrifice my old moble of four years, the sound cut out on it, so I couldn't make or get any calls- irrepairable.)
My iRiver's battery will cost $50 to replace, and it has a twelve year warranty anyway.
You pay $600 yeah, but mine holds 40GB. Pah to measly 1 GB! *laughs* It's got a purdy colour screen too. But I got it for it's voice recording options, i use them in animations, and I needed a quality device I knew wouldn't fall apart on me in a year or two like ipods are notorious for.

ShadowCat - April 29, 2005 05:06 AM (GMT)
Sounds good, but I wouldn't be able to use it because of the screen.

LightningFlash - May 16, 2005 03:34 AM (GMT)
Four Square's homepage

You can download four songs, including the theme song to the OF. (WOOOOO!) This particular version rocks out, too.

Oh Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues!! ^^ I love that song! Thanks to my parents I love alot of their songs :P

The Furox - January 28, 2006 08:13 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I really like the Moody Blues. Even their later albums like "The Present" are all good. And Steeley Dan's "Aja" album fits in well with the Moody Blues if you're building a playlist.

Other classic rock I really like includes the first album by Boston, Led Zeppelin's "Zoso" and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon".

And just for fun, there's always Weird Al Yankovic. :D He's got a couple of DVDs out of his music video parodies. I've got two of them and they're just plain fun to watch. I also saw him live in concert a few years ago. Yes, he actually does live concerts of his song parodies and does quick costume changes between songs to give you the music video feel. Great concert.
