Title: Stewardd's Dragon Gunny
Description: Here's what he looks like

The Furox - November 25, 2005 07:40 AM (GMT)
I picked up a copy of the "Dragon Booster Ultimate Scrap Book" this week. It's only 30 pages and there's nothing really deep in it but it's a fun little souvenir.

One thing it does have is a picture of Stewardd's dragon which I've scanned for you all to see. According to the official DB web site, his name is Gunny (at least, I think Gunny's a "he". Doesn't sound like a female name to me).

Another cute little guy. I wonder what episode he will finally appear in?

Gunny has a bit of a chin also.

Wow, is that ever a small dragon.

The Furox - November 25, 2005 11:40 PM (GMT)
Well, let's see. Stewardd's supposed to be 5' 3", so Gunny looks like he'd stand about 7' in height, maybe 8' tops, by comparison. Doesn't look like he'd weigh more than 1000 lbs tops. Heck, you could keep him in your house!

YAY HOUSE DRAGON!!!!!!!!

That would be SO DRAC!!!!!!!

I wouldn't really want him on any hardwood, or carpeted floors though, look at those claws!!!!

Me: Mom, Gunny's scratching up the hardwood again!

:P

Artha Gurl - November 26, 2005 03:51 AM (GMT)
Aww! He's really cute! :) I'm curious, could you post a picture of a white dragon? I really want to know what they look like.

Neemers - November 26, 2005 05:27 AM (GMT)
I'll second that.

2 1/2. o_o

Daigerus - November 26, 2005 07:02 AM (GMT)
Gunny does look coolly cute! Second to Fracshun, though. :) It's great to finally see how he looks like. Oh, and if you find a picture of Bumpyr (Spratt's dragon), please post that as well. :)

And be careful shaking hands with him, too. Ouch! :D He is cute, though.

The book does have a picture of a white dragon which I'll scan and post shortly. Unfortunately, it doesn't show Spratt or Bumpyr. In fact, it leaves out a lot of characters. It doesn't even include Cain or Coershun. It's hardly what I would think of as an "ultimate" scrap book, but what can you do. They pretty much wrote it for six year olds who won't notice the difference. <_<

Baby_Beau - November 26, 2005 05:25 PM (GMT)
Heh heh... He's so cute! I want THAT dragon! :P

Skylii - November 27, 2005 02:28 AM (GMT)
So THAT'S what light green draconium dragons look like! Hehe, they're cute...wait, are they furry? (I can see fur. I swear I can see fur. And...mouse-like ears? Anybody think the Keepers have some relation with mice or rats? May even explain Moordryd calling Stewardd a mouse or Stewardd being kind of like a packrat? :P)

The Furox - November 27, 2005 07:21 AM (GMT)
I don't think he'd have fur, but the way he's drawn it does look there's a tuft on his chest. I'm going to assume it's ridges from the scales.

His ears look more cow-like than mouse-like to me. Gives him kind of a gentle look I think. The Keeper's crew appear to be scavengers though, so giving them mouse-like qualities (to both the humans and dragons) wouldn't be unlikely.

Mari - November 27, 2005 03:42 PM (GMT)
AAWW!! and so, I finally see what Gunny looks like. It's been seriously bothering me, really. Well, now I know what a light green dragon looks like! :D

Skylii - November 27, 2005 06:53 PM (GMT)
These small, Scavenger-class dragons must also be very speedy, if they're bipedal. May explain why their best competition is the...Quintathalon *clicks tongue* wow, that's a mouthful of a word. Speaking of which, what does quintathalon mean? (Yeah, I did remember what it was, but then I forgot whether it was five or fifteen or something else.)

I bet they would be speedy. And since they're small relative to other dragons we see, they can probably turn on a dime and out maneuver their bigger cousins. Their physical strength and mag-energy would probably be correspondingly lower though.

Well, "quint" is the Latin prefix for five, so it should mean a five event competition of some kind.

Ryshah - November 29, 2005 04:30 AM (GMT)
awwwww! Kyoooooooot!

SilverDragon - January 10, 2006 07:00 AM (GMT)
Gunny looks like a reptilian green goat. He's got horns, too.

Someone will complain he looks like Satan, I just know it.

I can't see any horns in there.....O.o

Awwww....a cute little-green-bipedal-scavengerclass-goatlook-dragon!!! lol

The Furox - January 10, 2006 05:55 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I don't think those are horns. It looks like part of saddle (the part that's mag'ed onto his head).

Hunter - January 25, 2006 05:56 AM (GMT)
that would be drac if you could keep Gunny in your house! :P he looks drac. B) by the way,i wonder what the Quintathlon is. :P anybody else know?

Mari - February 11, 2006 05:18 AM (GMT)
Yeah, Neemers... the 'ears' you added to Gunny... they're part of his saddle. Just letting ya know! :D

SheWulph - February 28, 2006 05:16 PM (GMT)

You are likely thinking of "The Stand" Episode #6

I VIND THAT DRAGON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Professor Parmon - February 28, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
I found a pic of one from that episode that was Lt. Green and Orange. is that the one you are thinking of? If so I can do a Screen Cap of it.

Mari - February 28, 2006 09:33 PM (GMT)
Oh, that one dragon with what appears to be a red thing on its head? Here's a pic I found on the TCG site:

This dragon? Yeah, I've been wondering what his bone color is for quite some time. Also, what color is the other dragon? I love the way he looks. He couldn't be black, because the body isn't quite right. He can't be white; head's too small. He can't be green, turquoise or brown. He couldn't be red, orange, purple or light green. He can't be blue or light blue; head's too big and he doesn't have the specialized feet. That leaves grey or gold......

Man, I love that grey dragon; he's so pretty! :D

He kinda looks white to me mayby he is a grey white cross. Because Libris is the only true grey bone dragon left.

I have seen a few dragons with the same color as Gunny but there is 1 problem they are on 4 legs, in the intro seen inside the stampede dust and in "Pride Of The Hero" where Artha and Moordred jumps over the crowd and a bunch of dragons there are about 2 there.

No, Libris is the only active grey bone dragon. All the others are in hiding and all of them, including Libris, have been altered with black draconium. :D Sorry, a complete Libris/Rivett/Mechanist freek pays attention to this sorta stuff..

SheWulph - March 1, 2006 03:26 PM (GMT)
If I remeber corretly Libris is the only non altered grey dragon. I'll check the ep again.

I stand corrected it is a grey dragon, if you look carefully in "the cromatic dragon" where Pynn has al the dragons together there are 11 dragons that can be see with the exception of a light green dragon. (I looked carefully at this scene trying to see the fabled light green dragon but no light green dragon) But there was this grey guy, and turbulance the white dragon so he can't be white.
(wait did I see red?)

Yes, Mari is right. GO! Mari, another Libris fan :)

SheWulph - March 1, 2006 04:37 PM (GMT)
I am also a Rivett/Mechanist fan, I have checked the ep Libris is 1 of the unaltered grey dragons. Many of those that are hiding is altered.

Cepheus - March 1, 2006 08:47 PM (GMT)
I'm thinking he's just a white dragon. Since we see him/her in so many races, how could it be a gray? The rider would have most of Dragon City trying to buy it from them and Word Paynn, Moordryd, and half the Down City crews after him.

Another thing, if they were altered, wouldn't the still retain at least some of their gray bone dragon qualities?

These dragons could also have secondaries of the other colors. They can't have gray, because think about how much gray energy Libris contains compared to how much Coershun contains. It'd be a mainly gray chromatic dragon.
