For some reason, I just couldn't see Beau as an only child. If you don't like that idea, just imagine the other kids are from neighboring dragons and all are being watched by his parents.

According to Rob, the colors of the scales would represent their secondary influences, so I assume the black dragon (who I also assume is the mother) has secondary influences of red and gold (or brown?) and the blue dragon (who I assume is the father) has secondary influences of gold, white and gray? Hmm...
Love the other little dragons too. :) (By any chance, would the green dragon be Cyrano? I'm not sure about the little blue one; probably isn't Fracshun...)

The little ones have the wrong colors and patterns to be Fracshun or Cyrano. I just planned on having them look somewhat simular, since I could see Fracshun and Cyrano coming from the same stock.

Yes, the black dragon's his mom, and having red as a secondary color for her also gets in all the colors needed to create a gold dragon. For her and the dad I tired to get in all the colors, patterns, and traits needed to create Beau. Notice how he's kind of got Mommy's chin, except it's bigger because he's male, and has Daddy's horns even if they are a little different on him?
How many traits can you figure out what parent he got them from?

Very cute pic and well drawn! I like the other dragons but how could a Bull class dragon come out of a pair of dragons like Beau?

Beau's mother is a black dragon, which means she has green as a secondary bone trait. Thus, I thought it wouldn't be impossible to get a green dragon from the mix.
