Title: All Gone...
Description: the horror! the horror!
Penny Dreadful - December 26, 2008 05:53 AM (GMT)
I've been without the internet for... far too long. I visit my relatives for the holidays, pop onto Youtube to check on my account, and discover...
that I have been banned :(
I know these things happen, but I was, apparently, not prepared. Most of my videos have been (seemingly) forever lost - this includes all of my DB videos. At the moment, I only have the most recent of my DB vids, "Lights Out" and the, as of yet, unposted little beta of a music video, "Downfall".
I don't have high expectations here, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask...
Did any of you happen to download any of my videos? I miss them like a neglectful mother misses the kids in the attic once they break out, crash her wedding and run off to... er, bad movie/book analogies aside (I don't think that particular fictional mother lived long enough to miss her kids anyway.) I really do miss my own work something fierce. It would mean a lot to me if any of you had it lurking on your harddrives somewhere.
I've saved other people's DB videos... I'm not at all sure why it never occured to me to back up my own. Oh, and in case you happened to be curious, my new YouTube account is PennyxXxDreadful.

That's a bummer that they took down your vidoes. Wish I could help but I'm afraid I don't have copies of any of them. Maybe someone else downloaded them.

That is so sad. I wish I can help you, but I do not have any copy.

Me, me, me!!!
I have at least two of your videos:
Word: a stylish sort of evil and Chromatic.
I will keep searching in my PC if I have more.

Not directly, but there are ways to grab the video. One of the easiest ways is to go to:
http://www.keepvid.comthen enter the URL for the youtube page containing the video. It will then provide you with a download link that you can use to save the video to your computer. You'll need a video player like QuickTime, VLC or iTunes (all free) in order to watch the saved video.

As Furox said, there are ways. In my case I used vixy.net , and let me to save it in avi format.
Penny Dreadful, I only have 2 of your DBvideos, they are in avi format. Where do I send them to you?
