I just thought I'd make a real advertisement for it. I've got one person who wants to play, but I'd like more if anyone's interested.

Premise:

Far off in the galaxy, there is a planet called Runefaust. On this planet is a group of beings called the DemenShifters. These beings are not any single race, but instead come from many different races and worlds. The DemenShifter Elders keep watch for those with powerful abilities that are awakening, and bring these beings to Runefaust for training, so that they might not hurt those around them by accident. Recently, a new batch of beings have come to the Elders' attention and they have brought them to Runefaust.

These beings are simply told that they need training to control their powers to avoid hurting themselves and those around them, and that Runefaust is a place for them to have fun until they are deemed to have enough control that it is safe for them to leave. They have no choice in the matter, but they are expected to be happy about the "opportunity" they have been "given".

On Runefaust, the most common pastime is raising creatures called "Beasts" and battling with them. This is done in combination with devices called "StoneHolders", upon which small, marble-like gemstones called "Stones" are stored. These Stones contain the souls of various animals, which can be combined with one's Beast to alter it and give it new abilities. Different levels of StoneHolders can store different numbers of Stones. The lowest level, given to newcomers, can store up to three. There are tests to earn higher-leveled StoneHolders, which usually take the form of combat.

This, along with training to control and develop one's abilities are generally the only things to do on Runefaust, though there may be more going on than even the Elders know...


This will be a three-part RP. The first section will be about developing our abilities and when everyone feels ready to move on, something will happen that will launch us into the next part. This first section will be very free-form, but the other two will be more structured. You can sign up for the first part and not join the others if you want, and you can also join for the others even if you don't start in the first part. Whichever ones you want to do, you can.
