Looks like we've got all the character design submissions we're going to get, so let's pick the ones we want to go with!

To avoid having a separate poll thread for each character, we're going to vote for all the humans in this one poll. View the images using the links above and select which design you like for each character. Please only make one choice for each character. There are five humans here, so you should be making exactly five selections in this poll. If these instructions aren't clear, please ask before you vote.

If we end up with any ties, Nayade and I will break them.

i like the Fira out fit by Mari06, but i like Fira hair cut by Sklii more. i hope we are allowed comments in this

For some reason, there's an error when I try to vote. :unsure:

I like that outfit in Mari's third design best, looks nice 'n comfy to wear, and comfort seems to me like it would be kind of a big thing when pregnant, but I like the hair from Nayade's second design best...I'm holding off on voting for anything for now, because I'm not sure which to pick...could I vote for both and just have some sort of note put in about the outfit vs. hair thing?

Other than that, I like Nayade's Kadmyss design, because I think it fits better with the style of the show, and Nayade's second Word design, because I think he looks better with the longer hair (shoulder-length) but the clasp-style jacket looks better on him than the pull-over style I think. And, of course, there's only one design for Abyll, so that's kind of a given. :P

For some reason the same thing is happening to me. It worked fine in the other character poll. Hmm... :plot:

I suggest voting for the one that you think is best overall or mostly what you want to see, then add a note about possible modifications. Nayade has been doing just about all the storyboard work, so I think she gets the right to make the final decision on things like that.

What kind of error are you getting? Votes have been recorded, so it seems to be working at least some of the time. Try it again. If it fails again, a screenshot of the error message would help.

The votes are working fine for me. Not to worry, general wulf. There have been more comments on this.

The Kaymyss by Nayade is closest to the information we have been given. I like that, so does my family. We debated on the Fira design, and our votes were tied between DragonFanatic, Mari, and Nayade. In the end, we like Mari03's. We agreed to the Connor and Abyll designs. As for Word, we could not decide. In the end, we narrow it down to Nayade02.

Good finishing to the character design poll race. My family are looking forward in seeing Fira, Cephyhiss and Oryon. It would be great if we can see Alchemist on tv.

I've just tried 2 browsers (Firefox + IE6) and different security setting with same result, can't vote. :(

It's strange, i voted on the dragon poll fine, just this poll is funny.

Check 5 boxes as stated and get an error. Even tried just checking 1 box and voting, still get the same error.

Yeah, this poll is kind of messed up for some reason. I couldn't vote either and got the same error message. I went in and made an inconsequential change to poll and re-saved it and then it let me vote. There's clearly a bug in the server side code, but that's not something I can fix directly.

Anyway, it did let me vote just now. So if you got an error before, please try it again and see if it's working.

If the poll still won't work, I think I'll delete it and restart it.

Thanks for trying Furox but sorry, still a no go with me what ever boxes i have checked.

It looks like the server is just flakey. It seems to only accept votes some of the time, but I can't see what the pattern is.

How about this: if it won't take your vote, just post your choices and I'll add your vote to the total manually. I don't think it's necessary, but if you want your vote to be secret then send it to me as an email or PM.

I think just about everyone who's going to vote has voted by this point, so I'll wait a few more days then call for final votes. Please vote soon in these two polls if you haven't already done so.

OK, the poll is over and here are our results:

Fira will be the Mari03 design, though I think we'll need to modify it a bit to appear more pregnant. But I think that's OK.

Kadmyss will be Nayade's design.

Connor will also be Nayade's design of course.

Word will be Nayade's Word02 design.

Abyll will be Nayade's design as well.

I shall get to work modifying it for pregnancy right away! And we'll need to decide colors too.... 0,o I hadn't thought about those while I was working on design.

For colors, when I look at it I think of a kinda grey-ish purple for the main part of the top. I dunno why. It wouldn't really fit her character though, would it? Maybe a muted wine color instead?


Would you mind if I slapped some colors on it, just to see what I can come up with?

Yep, I liked that one as well. I thought the style of the clothes and the hair were just right.

For colors, we know Fira's hair is supposed to be black. Rob said so here in the Q&A. So that leaves clothing colors. Maybe do something that complements Connor's outfit, such as purples and reds and maybe a little orange?

I know her hair is supposed to be black; I was also thinking of having one or two of the tufts on her forehead white (sorta like Artha- he had to get it somewhere). As for the colors of the outfit, I'm thinking oranges and reds, with some of those muted (like that wine color suggested earlier).

If college allows (hisses at college), I'll try to get some coloring done for experiments.
