Title: Coolest Beau "form"
Description: Because Beau Rocks!!
DragonBooster500 - November 11, 2005 11:43 PM (GMT)
If you could ride one of Beau's Forms which would it be?
- Furox Form
- Dark Beau Form
- Wraith Beau Form
- Racing Form
- Black and Gold Form
Vearl - November 11, 2005 11:56 PM (GMT)
I chose the black and gold form because it looks really good. I also like those flaps that he can glide with. :)
Skylii - November 12, 2005 12:04 AM (GMT)
So, er, which is Wraith Beau again? The one in "The Stand" or the one in "The Wraith Booster"? :P
I wouldn't ride Beau, because he seems rather violent, but the coolest form IMO would be Racing and normal Beau. The case for this is because if I actually rode a fancy-shmancy gold and black dragon of legend, I'd be kidnapped, Beau would be taken away from me, and Artha would kill me.

Wraith Beau is the Beau form in the "Wraith Booster". Dark Beau is the one in "The Stand". By the way, the form in "Wraith Booster" is the cooler one and can mag-jump higher than any dragon ever!!

Aaah, but what about Beau in "Broken Bonds"? Wasn't he Dark Beau then? (According to the Wikipedia entry, he has three forms: "The Stand: wraith Beau, "Broken Bonds" dark Beau, and "The Wraith Booster" wraith Beau.)
And maybe you should be specific with Furox Beau. Beau is the Furox in "Pride of the Hero", but he also releases the Furox again in "Misjudged" (after Artha says, "C'mon, boy, get a grip!") ;)

Ditto. The black and gold is very distinctive and I love the frills. The Furox form is good, too. I particularly like the variation in "Misjudged" which was a little different from how he appeared in "Pride of the Hero." Those talon-like claws he gets are way cool. And Beau's red and blue form is pretty, too... OK, I guess I can't really pick one, but I'd put black and gold first on the list. B)

That's interesting, LightningFlash said the same thing. And Sarah has made a comment along those lines in the past, too. I find the fact that Beau likes to play a little rough part of his appeal. The distinguishing factor for me being that he's being cheeky, not intentionally cruel. My dog likes to play a little rough too, and I think that's fun. Is this a guy thing? ;)

Who knows? ;)
Beau does seem slightly violent, however, that just may be how non-human creatures and such may act. Though one thing about Beau: he's unpredictable. Another reason I wouldn't want to ride him. I don't think I'm as strong as the average Dragon City human (excuse me, being mag-blasted into the air, and then hitting the ground and STILL surviving? I'd have a dozen broken bones if that happened to me  ) if he decided to throw me off. :D

Or how about Drag Ball? I don't see how the players walk off the field after the game without multiple broken ribs and a broken arm or leg (or two, or three).
Moordryd said there's draconium in their suits back in episode 1. Is the draconium there to make it easy for the dragons to mag-lift their riders into the air when needed? Or does the draconium also offer some sort of impact protection (like an inertial damper)? Artha's Dragon Booster armor seems to give him a massive amount of protection against injury. Maybe the racing suits everyone wears offers protection against the typical falls riders would routinely experience.
DragonBooster500 - November 12, 2005 01:38 AM (GMT)
Beau doesn't throw many people except when he had to choose a rider and I wouldn't say he's totally unpredictable. However the thought of having broken bones when being thrown off a dragon is a bit scary. I know as long as you trust yourself and your dragon you won't get thrown off and all you have to do is be one with your dragon and as the DragonBooster says: "Release the Dragon!"
Airshadow - November 12, 2005 02:27 AM (GMT)
I like Furox's form, altough, I would rather ride a glente and kind Beau
Jouroo - November 12, 2005 03:15 AM (GMT)
I actually chose Black and Gold Beau, because he can do so many different things with that nifty bonemark.
But I agree with Skylii and Furox, a fall from a dragon would be much more harmful than they tend to portray in the show. I almost cheered when Artha passed out after falling from Beau in... Wraith Booster? Though I don't think it should have hurt Beau so much...
Kereea - November 12, 2005 03:38 AM (GMT)
I picked Furox and racing. Furox because it's so cool, and racing because that alter-ego ain't so mild-mannered!

I think it was actually Faster Than Fear. Yep, that was it. :)

It must be. Have you ever observed the majority of strength in Dragon City citizens? Then can survive things that we average humans in our world cannot possibly survive. For example, the average human doing Rivitt-style acrobatic leaps REALLY high into the air, and expertly landing on his/her feet...then breaking serious bones in his/her body. Definitely the draconium. There MUST be draconium in almost everything in Dragon City, then...
Airshadow - November 12, 2005 06:04 AM (GMT)
Perhaps their clothes acts as a flecible armor, and the draconium in there prevent serius injuries
hyperpsychomaniac - November 16, 2005 11:05 AM (GMT)
I picked Wraith Beau. There's just something about him being pure black... :D

Nah... personally, I don't mind a bit of rough stuff, I'd rather have a dragon that was tough enough to take a hit, and give it back. And I wouldn't be bothered riding Beau, while he plays rough, I don't think he'd intentionally really hurt anyone he cares about.

I saw no problem with it hurting Beau. You have to remember, dragons are supposed to weigh... what? Twelve tons or something. He trips from running and crashes face first into the ground, and that twelve ton weight, travelling at... pretty fast is smashing him into the ground. That HAS to hurt.
DragonBooster500 - November 16, 2005 08:14 PM (GMT)
I would think that falling off a dragon during a race would be pretty bad...you think a person WOULD NOT get out of a racing accident unscathed. Also there was an episode where Lance raced on Beau (3 Times a Hero). Wouldn't you think that there is a limit on how old you can be to race?? maybe that would cut down on racing accidents.
the power of ICE - November 16, 2005 11:43 PM (GMT)
I would chose wraith, but imagine going to the race track with a big mean black dragon.
No one would be there.
But wraith, black and gold, and the spikey version of Beau are my favorites.
*hence picture ^.^*
Dragon - January 30, 2006 05:28 PM (GMT)
i Hav 2 go for the Black and Gold form Beau is my favourite dragon and gets loads of respect!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hunter - January 30, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
Black and Gold form of Course! I think Beau is the real hero of the show, then Artha, then Kitt, then Lance or Parm..etc. What i love   about Beau is that he has a expressive personality. He has Dragon Sarcasem (which many dragons don't have) and he expresses it a lot,in any of his natural forms, (black and gold, red and blue). He's a really funny dragon! :P :D :)
phsycopathicdragon - February 4, 2006 04:40 PM (GMT)
Black and gold all the way... are you SURE that in "misjudged" he was furox beau? It seemed that it was one of his powers...
dRagOniDe - February 4, 2006 04:42 PM (GMT)
I chose the Wraith Beau form..it's just too drak :P
The Hydrag - March 11, 2008 03:31 AM (GMT)
Forgot what I voted ages ago but I say Earth Class form now. HUGE CLAWS and some sweet markings!
Sennkoh- Coola - March 13, 2008 07:25 PM (GMT)
Out of the selection I chose the Furox form.
But I think the best form of Beau's is in "Misjudged", where he is climbing out of the hole thing they fell down.
Jalaco - March 19, 2008 04:50 AM (GMT)
I think his coolest forms are the Furox ones.
Also in answer the the 'Invincible dragon city citizens' thing, in one episode, cant remember the name, someone, Mortis I think, says that everyone has draconian in there bones, an answer in the magna draconis sated they got this from the food which had small deposits of draconian, so saying I'm guessing that would help absorb the shock. Furthermore it would probably get into the rest of there body making them harder to injure and quicker to heal.

I would say the Furox form
