I thought I'd show some of my characters to you wonderful fellows. C: These guys are the original characters that feature in my (hopefully) upcoming fanfiction, City of Gold.

The Story
Roughly taking place after The Mechanist, City of Gold tells the story of Mo, a woman living in Skid Row, the dingiest part of Down City. Singing in a nightclub and to make ends meet, Mo's luck changes for the worse when she discovers Rivett, the thief who stole the Horn of Libris. The Police in Precinct are finally looking for him and there's a price on his head. Harboring a wanted criminal is a bad idea. But what if this criminal was the only family you had left?

With the help of her delusional Dragon friend, Dee, who won't let anyone ride him and thinks he's a human, and Sybil, the immortal, ancient and arthritic Gold Dragon of Prophecy, Rivett and Mo discover a conspiracy, much chaos, crime Noir and comedy, but most of all, they find love of a family in a whirlwind adventure to find true justice in Dragon City.

City of Gold's one of the longest running fanficts I'm doing - and I won't upload it till it's perfect, if you know what I mean. By the way, I have someone in mind for a Beta, but I'm looking for anyone who wants to preview read it. Interested?

Fun character designs, and it sounds like a fun story as well. :)

So how far does Dee's delusion go? Does he eat with a knife and fork, and does he deny having a tail? :D

You think so? I'm quite proud of the story, I'd show you a preview chapter if you like, but I won't put it up yet. I'm waiting from a reply from someone I contacted to be my beta. Hopefully, she'll say yes!


Lol, indeed he does - in one chapter I'm writing, Mo mentions he butters toast with a breadknife, wears cologne that smells like roasted peanut, and steals her mattress at night (the floor's not good enough for a 'man' like him)!

He walks upright (which isn't normal behaviour for a blue dragon), writes in DC English, grocery shops with a shopping list, and even recites Shakespeare. He's even more educated than dumb, illiterate Mo. X) Plus - he talks like Doctor Who.

Hopefully, I'll get to explain his behaviour in the fic.

Indeed he is. X) It's mainly due to the fact that he's never seen another dragon until Dragon City.

Lol! Nice to meet a fan. I know a friend of mine who is crazy for David Tennant. I love his voice so much - if Dee ever talked, he'd have to sound like him. X)
