i personally do not think that moordryd is evil i watched writh booster yesterday and i relised that he is not evil he is just trying to make his father proud thats all he wants so let em know what you guys think

yup, i believe is is only trying to make his father proud. he has shown he is a good guy at heart. like in The Wraith Booster, he showed compassion for Lance. And he helped free Beau and Dragon Booster Artha from the wraith gear. And In Pride of a Hero, Artha's words got true to the real Mordryd, he nearly removed the bonemark, showing that the bonemark had no strong hold on him unlike Beau...

I agree most of it is due to his father, but Moordryd has his own vices too. He's got a bad, snobby attitude, he's cruel and selfish, and he's technically a brat.

Doesn't mean he's evil/not likable though. :)

At this point in time, Moordryd is in the gray area. He's not truly evil, but he could very well end up there depending on the choices he makes in the future. As Skylii said, he's got some problems, not all of which mean he's evil though. The one that ranks most highly as pushing him towards evil is his cruelty. There are a number of occasions where he takes pleasure in watching others suffer. In my book, people who continue down that path too far without realizing how wrong that is will get the evil stamp from me since people who stray that way too far rarely ever turn back.

Moordryd is of course caught up in trying to please his father which is his main problem. He's also done the right thing on a number of occasions, so it's not over for him yet. He's in the gray area now and we'll have to see what he does in the Academy.

Now ay is he truly evil. He doesnt have the whole MURDER THE WORLD SO DRAGONS CAN RULE attitude that Armeggadon has. He is the only truly evil person on the entire show. Moordryd is just trying to make his pappy proud by being ruthless. The worst trait weve seen from him is cowardice in certain situations. But as Lance said he does treat his dragon nicely so he cant be all bad.

I will go so far as to say Word isnt even all bad. I say hes just cracked like an Egg after Zulay died and because Super Obsessed with gaining power and trying to fill in the hole Zulay left when she died. I bet underneath he is a very careing guy but has denied those emotions for years.

Moordryd may be in the gray area, but I think Word is too far gone at this point. He started down the path towards the dark side when he was what, 12? And he's been pursuing it relentlessly ever since. Word may occasionally do something that seems decent when it suits his own interests (like teaming up to fight Armeggaddon), but I don't really see how Word can ever truly turn around at this point. After all, he's been on the wrong path for nearly 40 years now. People who go that long on a certain path rarely ever turn around. I can see Propheci turning around long before I see Word turning around. Word isn't the kind of person to give up, so ultimately he will have to be imprisoned or somehow rendered harmless.

Moordryd is a good person. He is trying to make his father proud, especially in No Paynn, No Gain, when he used the advantage to take credit. I mean, the Penn Crew saved Word, but Moordryd wanted the credit.

Moordryd just smiled.

I admit Moordryd did help The Dragon Booster to remove the Wraith Gear, with Decepshun's help. He is not totally evil, and he is trying hard to please his father. He is kind to Lance. In Wraith Booster, he got angry upon seeing Lance frozen.

Moordryd is not evil. He helpd Dragon Booster some time. And he likes Lance and Decepshun's...He is not all evil. ;)
