Title: 911
Description: Where were you?
Lancepenn - May 31, 2008 11:49 AM (GMT)
I woke up at 6:00am, and breakfasted on two poached eggs, two sausages, and a toast. I left my house at 7:23, and took the bus to McDonalds for coffee. I walked to World Trade Centre, and got there at 8:16. I went up to floor 106, to chat with some friends at Windows on the World. At 8:46:40, I was deeply shocked to see a plane flying towards North Tower. I immediately went down to the ground level, and at ground level, I looked up at North Tower. I could not believe my eyes. I saw the second plane striking the South Tower, and I fled the scene immediately after the second crash. I fled to Bronx on foot.
I saw the towers coming down.
Where were you?

I had finished playing my computer, and decided to go to the bedroom to read. My mom was coming home, and heard the bad news on the radio. She rushed home to tell me, but I was not interested to watch it on CNN. My then tenant was eating her dinner, and watched it with my mom.
Later, I recorded a movie starring James Wood. This movie was shown on a Sunday evening.

I was starting my tea-time, when my mom received a phone call from one of her friends. She was urged to put on CNN, and she put it on. I was buttering my scones, when she called me to come to the tv. I did not understand, and continue to butter my scones.

I was sick at home wondering why footage of a plane crashing into a building was on instead of my favourite TV shows.

I was sitting at home flinching every time a plane flew overhead. The place I was living at the time was near an airport, and the planes flew directly overhead as they took off.

I was on my way to school. I heard the news on the radio and grinded my teeth because I wanted to slaughter every terrorist in the world.
I still feel the same...

I had finished watching the Aquatics events on television, with my husband, and was going to watch a movie. My eldest child had just finished partying with his friends, and my husband went to make a cup of hot cappuccino. I was selecting my movie, and one of my friends called. This friend urged me to watch the news, and when I did, I screamed. My husband, who was inside the kitchen, dropped his cup, and came out to my side. I was perified! I pointed to the tv, and we both saw the first tower of World Trade Centre being hit. We were rooted on our couch. Shortly after the second plane struck the othe tower, my son came home. He heard on the radio that World Trade Centre has been hit, and he watched the tv with us. My husband went to clean up the mess, and made his coffee. We watched the tv until the end. We could not believe our eyes, as USA is our home country. New York City is dear to me, as I lived there until 1976.
It was very sad.

I was sleeping, those days I havent a job, and my dad call me and told me to watch tv. I Saw a crash with WTC building, I doesnt sure if it was the first or the second, I was shoked.
I live in Mexico but my sister and dad were in WTC 2 weeks before, after that trip my sis and mom went to Europe and watched the WTC attack in Paris. In that evening I received a mail, there my sis told us that they couldnt belive that and she was worried but she and my mother are all right, just they are worried about what will happen next, they went to Lourdes Sactuary to pray for victims.
