Okay, this is ONLY for discussing The Alchemist! NO ANIMATION GROUP STUFFS!!!!

Anyway, this episode was written for us by Rob Travalino (The Magna Draconis), as a thanks for all the petitioning and stuff we've done. It's going to give us background info!

Stuff we now know
*Artha's mom was named Fira (from the word Fire) and was a member of the Dragon Flares
*Beau's parents were named Cephyiss and Oryon

*Cain's dad, Abyll, and Word were friends, kinda like Moordryd and Cain
*Moordryd was raised by a nanny dragon!
*Zulay died while testing a new black overload pod, developed by Word
*Word's 'gloves' aren't gloves; they're his actual fingers!
*Word lost his fingers in the accident that killed Zulay

It is sad Zulay died, leaving her son to a nanny dragon. I am deeply sadden by the death, when she insisted on testing the pod. Word will be having those 'fingers' for as long as Artha lives.

I am not sure if you have noticed the incident with the flashstick's usage on dragons. Like Father, Like Son. Word had used the Flashstick on Oriyon, and 16 years later, Moordryd uses a flashstick on Beau.
Watch the Choosing Part 1 again, and you will get what I am saying.

Wah! We don't get to see Zulay! :(

I wouldn't be so sure. We've clearly seen that our friends at Nred Corps aren't afraid of writing in flashbacks and prequels. Zulay may figure in somehow. All we can do is hope.

A month since Zulay died? Artha could be two months younger than Moordryd. I am curious now about the race results now. Oh dear, Connor!

I say Artha is about 3 months younger than Moordryd

Noo, why!! I really wanted to see Zulay in this episode... :(. I was really hoping that she was missing and not dead. But.. maybe they think she is dead because the accident was so terrible that they guest that nobody could survive that, unless they have found her body. Didn't Rob told us that she was vanished?? If she will be dead Rob will told us like he told us that Fira die from a disease.

Now, that I think about that, poor Moordryd he don't have a single memory of his mother.

Or, his fingers get deformed or burned, so he hide them with that gloves.I don't think that he lost them because when we saw him as Drakkus he have his fingers.

Or he may have had a mini version of the finger thingies that he wore under his gloves to hide the fact that he was Word. :plot:

I think this was a little weird. How a dragon can take care a human baby (looks like Tarzan to me XDjejeje).

Same... I wondered about that.

Sentrus also has some of those "finger thingies". Gotta watch your fingers in Dragon City, eh?

Good point. Is Sentrus really Zulay still alive and in disguise?!?!?! </stupidity> :lol:

That'd be funny, though. Weird. But funny nonetheless.

It is a possible thought. We will have to wait for Act 3.

This has come up before when Sentrus first appeared on the scene. The fact that she has similar long white hair, colorless eyes and almost has the Paynn unibrow can be rather suggestive. But I don't think she is Zulay for two reasons: they haven't given us any hints that she might be (other than appearance), and Word had no reaction whatsoever when she appeared in "Paynn Rising".

Personally, I'm sure Zulay is really dead at this point since otherwise there should have some clues that she's still around. But one thing surprises me: if you folks really want to know if Zulay is somehow still alive (secretly Sentrus or whatever), how come no one at all asked Rob that question in the last Q&A round? That was the perfect opportunity to ask and I'm wondering why everyone let it go by. Perhaps someone should ask this during the next round... :)

I am enjoying this episode as much as the other episodes.True, no Lance. But I like it all the same. I did not expect to hear about Cain's father in this episode.

We know now Beau is older than Artha by a day or two. The gold draconium link was done, just after Beau hatched from his egg. His egg ws the largest among his siblings. Apprently, his siblings did not hatch. How sad.

The big question now is that that burst of energy that transfered between them have any effect on Artha. Did it alter him in some way that enabled him to become the Dragon Booster?

Oh, I wouldn't assume that. The other eggs probably hatched and were probably just "ordinary" dragons, but with probably more gold in them than most.

You could always ask about the other eggs and what became of Beau's siblings in the next Q&A round. :)

The four eggs hatched naturally, but they are not as powerful as Beau.
