Just a random thing that just popped into my head, like a minute ago.

I don't know why but I would say Lance

i guess it would be artha. lance is after all 10 and artha is 16.
artha is more mature age-wise, i dunno about intelectualy, though!
beau is smarter though. he's the brains of the duo. -_-

i think that lance is more mature to a certain extent but in some cases artha is way more mature then lance but i think that lance is more intellegant on occausion as well because artha tends to think with his ego where lance tends to think like mortis ( connor) and remebers wat he is trying to teach them

I would say it is Artha.

I wouldn't necessarily say that one character or the other is more mature; I think it's more about whom is wiser. I don't think Artha thinks through things as often as Lance might. He acts before the thinks, which usually causes problems (*cough**cough*"Pride of the Hero"*cough**cough*). Lance, on the other hand, usually has some sort of intelligence to him that makes him wise beyond his years.

However, both characters I would say are immature. They're both children and are still learning basic lessons, and it just seems that one character is learning faster than the other.

But I say Artha. If I compare Artha and Lance at the end of the series, Artha wins. At the beginning, it'd be a lot closer, because Artha seems to have grown during the series more dramatically than Lance has. He has to be more mature anyway, since he's the hero, and would be a pretty bad hero if he wasn't. :P

True. They are both children. But I picked Lance. He was able to hold strong, in the following episodes:

Faster than Fear
The Wraith Booster
Artha the Drac

In Artha the Drac, Lance accepted Artha's mistake, and got his brother back. He did not cry in the Wraith Booster, and in this case, he is more mature. In Faster than Fear, he was the first to break free of the Fear Cystal. He was afraid at first, but he managed to be brave. He did it, with Fracshun's help.
