OOC, when used in an rp, is Out Of Character

If you're going to have stuff like lol, theres going to be a loooong list, including rofl, lmao, omg, etc.

Theres also shows and books and stuff like HP: HBP, CoS, PoA; LotR, etc.

Jouroo's correct, though "kreechy" and "groady" sound like comic-book terms to me rather than anything I've seen commonly used--v. onomatopoeic.

PS is more often used in letters; ETA would be more commonly seen online. It's also the acronym for the first HP book, which is often referred to as PS/SS due to the American title.

OC can also be Other Character. Pyrrah is one such.

Ok, I can't remember who, but somebody said AU and another person asked what it ment. I have to admit it, I didn't either, so I added it to the translation list. I know I'm double-posting, but I would also like to update this thread.

Say, perhaps, a fic in which The One Chosen for Dragon Booster was actually Parm, and Dragon City is actually a medieval castle, and Beau is a mysterious and powerful horse, that'd be AU.

Why am I suddenly thinking of King Arthur and Alexander the Great? :P
