Chapter 1: Deep in thought
The Dragon Booster slowly turned his head to look into the sky, and he saw ten dragons' mag beams. The riders were fighting among themselves, with Moordryd and Cain leading the way. The Dragon Booster knew he had to stop the fighting somehow. Raising himself on his elbows, he called out, "Beau."
Beau slowly raised his head, and roared weakly. The Dragon Booster said, "Give it all you got, boy."
The black and gold dragon of legend looked sadly at the Dragon Booster, before he closed his eyes and mouth. He focused, with DB watching him, and as the five-star bonemark glowed, the DB told him, "Yeah. That is it, boy." The dragon got onto his four feet, glowing, and grunting, before magging his rider. Slowly, the glowing stopped, and Beau dipped his head down.
Roaring, Beau released a Mag Blast towards the fighters. The Mag-blast brought Wulph, Ferryt, Pyrrah, Phistus, Khatah, Chute, Marianis, Moordryd, and Cain, back down to their dragons.
Waaaah!" Moordryd yelled, as he was pushed back into his saddle. He groaned softly, as his dragon, Decepshun shuddered with her mag powering down. She turned, and fled away from the scene.
Magging his rider onto the saddle, Coershun expressed his emotions. Cain returned to his saddle, and once back in the saddle, he noticed Moordryd fleeing from the battle scene. He steered his dragon away from the battle scene, yet it was a different direction from Moordryd's direction When he was far away from the battle scene, he bent his head, and hunched shoulders. He told his dragon, "Do you know it is my birthday today, Coreshun? I am not happy with Moordryd's behaviour. I though he was my friend, but who needs him? A friend should be able to tell me everything. I will not be his friend anymore. I baked his favorite cake flavour, and he did not show up earlier. I am still angry with him." Coershun bent his neck, and nudged Cain. Cain embraced his dragon, as the dragon crouched next to him.
Somewhere else, Decepshun stood with her eyes downcast, and she looked like an imposing dragon. Her rider stared at the view, as he sat lost in thoughts. After a few seconds, he fingered the shadow armulet, and told his dragon, "I am the Shadow Booster, girl. How can I tell Cain that I am Moordryd Paynn and Shadow Booster at the same time? I cannot be Moordryd Paynn and Shadow Booster at the same time. Cain has to understand I did not abandon him. I have already abandoned my new crew. That was more of Shadow Booster's crew. I am the Dragon Eyes Crew leader. What do you think I should do, Decepshun? Should I go back to the Dragon Eyes Crew, or should I be a Lone Dragon? I have lost a good friend, who had been at my side through thick and thin. He has been at my side for a long time."
The Vysox bonemark took over Decepshun, and her eyes glowed red. (From Eye of the Dragon)
She growled softly, and slowly channeled her mag energy towards her rider. Moordryd was so lost in thoughts that he was not aware of what his dragon was doing, and the next thing he remembered, was facing her glowing red eyes. Moordryd asked, "What is it you are trying to tell me, girl?" Decepshun replied, "I do not want you to go back to be the leader of Dragon Eyes Crew again. I want you to be leading a new crew. I have enough of racing with other dragons." He asked again, "Should I be a Lone Dragon? Do you want me to find recruits to form the Shadow Booster Crew?" She replied, again, "I have just told you that I want you to lead a new crew for Shadow Booster. When you meet your new members, you must be Shadow Booster. I want the dragons to fear me as the humans will fear you." He smiled, evilly, "You think it is a good idea, Decepshun? Well, let's do it" She roared evilly, "It is a good idea, master. I am Vysox, after all!" This time, the mag energy lessened.
Cain said, "Let's get back to HQ, Coershun. You are my only true friend, boy. I do not need a friend like Moordryd. It it still my birthday, and I will have my birthday party without him." He got up, and stroked his dragon's snout. Coreshun 'purred with delight', with the touch, as he bent his neck down to allow Cain to mount him.
Back on the saddle, Cain steered away from his grieving spot. He pressed the communition button, and when the green screen flickered on, he told the Dragon Eye Crew, "It is still my birthday, and I still wish to hold a party. This time, your dragons can join us for the celebration. As for Moordryd Paynn, he will not show up again. I do not want him to show up. I have cut off his friendship."
At HQ, Rancydd asked, "Are you sure you want to do this? What if Moordryd comes in, and we are partying away without him. Will he get angry with us? Are there any incidents in which he has left you on your own?" Cain fed Coershun with chocolate bars, as he said, "I am strictly a Dragon Eye Crew member. Do you remember the racing track for the beginners? That track was too easy for Moordryd. Anyway, I was instructed to direct other racers like Wulph to race the landward course. I not only failed in my mission, I also fell into the Paynn''s trap."
(From Leap of Lorius) Coershun channeled a small stream of mag to the plate of dragon chocolate bars, and magged to Luut. The other dragon was pawing a squawker, and she picked it up before blowing it. Coershun nearly mag off, but he gained control over himself. He roared to her, "Would you like to have a chocolate bar, my dear? It is meant only for dragons. Cain is so thoughful, allowing dragons to join his birthday party." Luud replied, "How nice of you to call me dear. I missed my best friend, Decepshun. But you, well, you are my love interest. I have been secretly in love with you, but you were always hanging out with Decepshun. As such, our friendship has been a strain too. I will accept this bar. Can I ask you to tear the bar open for me, please?"
Coershun was pleasantly surprised to learn that Luud liked him, after all this time. He put the plate of chocolate bars back on the table. He was so happy he obeyed her request. So eager to please her, he broke the bar into two, with wrappings on. The two dragons laughed, as their riders watched them. Cain and Rancydd had heard their dragons roaring to each other, of Luud blowing the squawker, and Coershun magging the plate. Cain opened another bar, and handed it to his dragon. His dragon bit one side, and beckoned Luud to eat the other side. As the Dragon Eye Crew watch, the two dragons got to the centre, and before any of them could blink an eye, the dragons were kissing.
"This is the beginning for the Dragon Eyes, with me leading the crew. Are there any objections? Good. I will now put Moordryd as an intruder. If he enters, the alarm will be sounded." Cain told his crew.
I welcome feedback from my readers. This is my first attempt at fanfic.

Great story!
I didn't understand one part though, was Decepshun/ Vysox communicating with Mordryd through their minds?
Can't wait for your next chappie!
Decepshunmy - February 18, 2008 03:09 AM (GMT)
Yes, Decepshun/Vysox was comunicating with Moordryd with a combination of their minds, and growls.
Thanks for the review, Artha_penn1995. I appreciate it.

Chapter 2: Alliance and Recruits
"Why are you freeing me from this prison? How did you get past Reepyr? Why do you want to ally with me? History reveals that the Original Shadow Booster allied with Dragon Booster, and together, they turned against the Prophets Crew. So tell me, Shadow Booster, why are you helping me?" a booming voice asked. The owner watched the Shadow Booster, who was standing in front of a prison button. Then a burst of light appeared, and a figure appeared in front of the booming voice owner. This figure replied, "Silence, Propheci! You are against the Dragon Booster, are you not? Do you want to join this Shadow Booster? He is my student, and I am training him further. You can be useful, as I see you are the rightful leader of the Prophets Crew. I can make you leader again. I can make the Prophets Crew follow your idea again."
Propheci roared, replying, "I will not forgive the Dragon Booster from draining my mag energy to strengthen him. He tricked me in ordering my crew to fry him, but it only took my energy. He will pay for this! What is your name?"
"I am Armeggaddon." was the reply. The dragon smiled, evilly, "I will work together with you and Shadow Booster. I will help you to find a new crew, Shadow Booster. Since you will be the leader, I suggest this crew, The Shadowlings."
Shadow Booster stroked his chin, and his dragon's eyes glowed. Decepshun roared, and the other dragon replied, "This dragon agrees with my suggestion. I would like to ride me, Armeggadon. I am as evil as you are." Armeggaddon replied, "I do have my eight dragons, and I do not have my Vysox. So, I will be your rider."
Shadow Booster replied, "Shadowlings, it shall be. First, let's gather your former crew. With Armeggaddon and Propheci at my side, nothing can escape me." The prison area vibrated with evil laughter, almost shaking the building.
An hour later, the Prophets Crew stood in a row, bowing their heads to Propheci. Reepyr was tied up, and was crouching in front of the orange dragon. He looked up, and said, "You will go back to the cell, once I call the Dragon Booster for help."
His speech was almost deafened in the sounding of evil approval. Propheci replied, "Silence! I will put you into the cell instead, Reepyr, so that you cannot call the Dragon Booster for help. Come, Prophets, let's leave this place. It is time to start a new Human-Dragon War!" The newly recruited Shadowlings roared, and they are saying, "Propheci leads! It is time to pay the Dragon Booster a visit!"
Propheci magged Reepyr, with the human hoisted in front of him, and started walking towards the cell. The other humans had already been put into the cell, and with Shadow Booster showing mag moves, they remain huddled at the back of the cell. Propheci (through Armeggaddon now) said, "Stay in there now, Reepyr. You are not going anywhere now. To make sure you do not escape, I will jam the control switch. This is goodbye." The dragon unleashed a mag claw, and aimed it at the switch. A small explosion occured, and the switch was beyond repair. As the dragon led the way, Reepyr called out, "You will never get away with this, Propheci! I will find my way out somehow." Propheci only laughed.
Please read and review it. Thank you.

Chapter 3: A New Life
Cain has no inkling of what the future holds for him, as he tests the face-recogizing
security system. He had instructed his second-in-command, Rancydd, to walk into the compound with a mask he had made. As soon as Rancydd entered the compound, the entire area sounded. Rancydd had no sooner stepped inside, when he was flung to the wall with the trapping gear on his chest. After ten seconds, the compound became quiet.
Cain came out, and told Rancydd, "That was perfect. Now Moordryd will not be able to get inside without triggering the alarm. I have sealed all entries, except the main entrance. Good job, Rancydd. Come, let's go and comfort Luud. She may be alarmed by the new security, and I do not want to disturb her further than it is nessary. I want to make sure she is as comfortable as she needs to be. Coershun is there with her." He released his friend, and the two men walked into control room. The two dragons were lying down side by side, and they watched their riders carefully, as the men entered. Luud eyed her rider, and Rancydd did not get too close to her. She suddenly roared, and the two men watched, as an egg appeared. She stood up, and shifted the egg to Coershun. The male dragon nosed it carefully, and roared. It means, "Stay away from the egg. Do not disturb my friend and I." Cain smiled, when he saw the egg, and after his dragon warned him, he did not approach them.
As the natural time for dragon egg to hatch crawls, life went on in Dragon City: on the racing track. It was the final race, to decide the standings of who gets into the Academy. The first batch of racers are lining up, and they are Moordryd, Khatah, and Marianis. Moordryd was ordered to return to racing, so he can increase his chances of getting into the Academy. Armeggaddon told him, "I will find your new crew members, Shadow Booster. You better return to the race track. Do not argue with me, my young student." The three dragons leaped into the air, and their riders activated the White Sledding Gear. They reached the downslope racing track.
In the meantime, Armeggadon had found a recruit for the Shadowlings Crew. He fired a trapping gear, which Moordryd had given him, as soon as he had sighted the new recruit. He laughed evilly, and suddenly without warning, a dragon suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and charged into Propheci with its full strength. The trapped human said, "Do not worry about me. Save yourself, Gunny! They are bad, very bad. Run away." Gunny had fallen from the impact, and was raising to its feet, when it was pushed back down. Armeggaddon laughed evilly, again, "Meet my eight dragons. They are my faithful dragons, and will obey me. Propheci tells me that your name is Stewardd. You will do nicely for Shadow Booster's crew. Your Gunny will do nicely too, as he can mag Green, Blue, Brown And Gray. He will be magging Brown Battle Armour, Blue Absorption Armour, Gray, Mudulation Pod, a mag pit, and Green Ramming Gear."
"Noooooooooo!" cried Stewardd, as a Mind Pod was tossed towards him and his dragon. He closed his eyes. After a while, the fog clears, and Stewardd opened his eyes. Gunny roared, and slowly raised to its feet. The dragon was saying, "I will follow you, Propheci." Armeggaddon released his rider, and Gunny magged the little man. Stewarrd said, "I am yours to command. What do you need me to do now? Do you want me to call the Keepers? Or will your dragons do that job?"
Armeggadon replied, "The Prophets Crew will recruit the Keepers. You will follow me behind Propheci."
Inside the safety of the compound, Cain was watching the monitor with his second-command. He was troubled by what he had seen, and being timid, he did not want to venture out. A roar alerted him to the two dragons, and he sat down on the floor to watch. Luud was saying, "The egg is hatching. Come, and see!" Soon, the egg hatches, and out emerged a baby dragon. The baby dragon was dark blue on the sides, and pink on the back. He has the same build as Coershun, and has a black leafy tail. His head is same as his father's head, along with his father's horns. His chest is black, same as Coershun's, with the top part of the legs same as Coershun's. The socks are Lavender blue (periwinkle), ending with Coershun's claws. Cain smiles, "I am going to call the dragon, Lukershun." The baby dragon whimpered, and Rancydd replied, "Lukershun likes the name you are giving him."

Chapter 4: Council Meeting
Cain had been watching the monitor earlier, and was deeply troubled by what he had seen. The screens had shown images of Armeggaddon with Propheci and the Prophets Crew. He remembered seeing those orange dragons before, and did not like the sight of them. He had stumbled in, together with Lance Penn, and was watching the dragons with the Penn Crew and Moordryd. He told Rancydd, "This cannot be good, Ran. These dragons are bad news. Judging from what I had seen earlier, they are against humans, and will attempt to start another human-dragon war. This is bad news for Dragon City, and for Coershun's offspring. While I am against my former friend, I will ask Word for some history lessons. He has accepted me as Moordryd's friend, and ally. Though he will be wondering why I am not at his son's side."
After Lukershun had hatched, and been named, Cain continued, "I had better ask Coershun, my dragon, if he would take to Word's citidel, first. Luud, would you permit me to ride my dragon? After that, I am calling Phistus for an urgent meeting. Since it is racing time, I am not expecting the Inner Order to be there."
Luud looked at her mate, and after a few moments, roared. Replying to her roar, Coershun stood up, and magged Cain. Cain told Ran, "Stay here to keep a close watch on Luud and Lukershun. Make sure no one gets into the compound. Let's go, Coershun. I will not keep you long from your mate, and son, I promise."
Inside Word's citidel, Cain stood respectfully behind Word. Word was at his Wraith Dragons controls, and was saying, "Cain, what do you want to know? I was trained in the temple, and would know history. I have seen what is going on in Dragon City. You are curious about the four spike being? I will tell you. Armeggadon was the real enemy of Dragon Booster, and of everyone else. He was imprisoned in the Shadow Track until the present Dragon Booster, Lance Penn, Moordryd, and you broke the spell that encased riders and dragons inside the track. Now he is on the loose, and will start a second human-dragon war. I see he has allied himself with Propheci and the Prophets Crew. You, Cain, must go to the Council, and dicuss the matter with them. My screen showed that the Prophets Crew had recruited that little man and his crew. The Keepers are controlled now, and what will they........ahhhhhhhh!" Word clutched his head, as images whirled in his head. Composing himself, he told Cain, "Do not tell my son about what you are going to see. He does not know."
Cain watched, with a shock as a suit and a giant dragon appeared. Abandonn roared, as he looked up. The dragon looked down at Cain, and roared again. Word donned the Drakkus suit, and told the dragon, "My son's friend will not tell Moordryd about you. Do you remember that enemy with the four spikes? He is going to attack again, and we will meet him again. Cain, you will go to the council now."
At the Council, Ferryt, Pyrrah, Phistus, Khatah, and other crews members were there. Khatah said, "You looked surprised to see me, Cain. I have pushed out of the race. Moordryd is now racing with Wulph, and Artha." At the sound of the table being slammed, they stopped looking at each other. Phisus said, "I am sure you have all seen your monitor screens of what is happening in Dragon City. I am deeply troubled. I am sure you all know your history? This ancient enemy is free again, and it is time for the different crew members to form an alliance. History shows it was the Dragon Eyes Crew who had started the original Dragon-Human War. It also tells us that Red, Blue, Green, Black and Gold draconium empires led the way to stop the war, with others following them. I will not allow this council to be split into two, again. Shadow Booster was a bad influence, and I will not allow him to lead you again. Do you hear me, Ferryt, Pyrrah? Do not be easily misled again, Pyrrah. Set a good example to Sparkk." As soon as she had heard the council leader's words, Pyrrah bowed her head.
She remembered the divided incident, and she replied, "You are right, Phistus. If Sparkk had witnessed it, he may be easily misled. He is my younger brother, and I must start acting like a honest elder sister. On the war matters, I remembered a history lesson by my grandmother, Blayze. This is what she told me when I was younger. The Orange dragons evolved from a general feeling of isolation and mistrust. They were not bred like many of the others but evolved in isolation created by the original war, they are orphans for lack of a better description. There are lots of splinter groups through the ranks of the Prophets and there are other leaders like Prophecy. While in Dragon City, the Prophets are waiting to see what happens and seeing if humans are worthy to survive, there are factions within the Prophets worldwide who feel humans have already failed and others who believe humans have already proven themselves worthy simply by having a Dragon Booster at all. Attacking the entire city which is what the Prophets pledge to do if the humans truly fail. Obviously, because of this, they will play a large part in the coming conflict. With the leader of the Black Draconium Empire, Armeggadon, at their side, there is no telling what the Prophets Crew will do next."
Khatah spoke up, "The Inner Order dragons respect peace. Phistus, we must team up with the Dragon Booster against this conflict. Council members, do you agree that we must prevent another Dragon-Human war?" The room became noisy, as the different crew members agreed with Khatah and Phistus. Cain agreed too, as he was worried about his dragon's son.
"So it is settled. Cain has informed me that Word has gone over to intercept Armeggadon, and we must stop the Prophets from recruiting other members. There is a small chance they may get Sparkk." Phistus told Pyrrah.
In the meantime, at Moordryd's compound, Rancydd was closely watching the screens. He received a call from Cain, "Rancydd, keep me and the Council members updated. Keep watching those monitors, as I would not be able to know what is happening elsewhere in Dragon City or the Outer Side. Stay sharp and focus. Protect yourself, Luud, and her son." He replied, "Yes, Cain." He continued to watch the screen, as well as to the two dragons. Luud nudged her son to her two legs. Lukershun laid on his back, and played with his mother's head. Ran smiled, and told her, "Luud, you have sixth sense. I would like you to warn me in advance if there is something bothering you. I am trusting you. I have faith in you, girl." She tickled her son, and slowly raised her head to her rider. She grunted her reply, "Dragons are rarely wrong in their judgements." No sooner had she grunted, she suddenly roared loudly. Before she could react, she was flung towards the wall, along with her rider, Rancydd. She roared in despair, as four figures appeared. Ran stared at the leading figure, and said, "Armeggadon, the Leader of the Original Black Empire. Whare are you doing here?" As soon as he had finished, he wished he could take back his words. A laughter greeted him.
Elsewhere, Phistus was leading the way, with Cain, and Pyyrah, at his side. Their dragons were alert, and were listening carefully for any sound of pursuit or ambush. A dragon stopped in its tracks, and its rider stroked it. Shock-Ra bumped into the dragon, and Khatah asked, "What is it, Cain? Why did your dragon stop?" Roar greeted him, and Coershun stood on its hind legs. He magged his rider off the saddle, and would not calm down. The other dragons listened to his roar of despair, and expressed shock. The dragons walked closer to him, and roared their response. Kwake asked, "Is there something you have forgotten to tell us, Cain? Remember, we are in this together." High up in the air, Cain saw the other dragons moving closer to his dragon. He asked to be magged down, and Rumball had to bring him down. Cain faced the other council members, and replied, sadly, "Yes, there is something I forgot to tell you. My dragon, Coershun, has a son. Apprently, he could feel that something is not right. I am sorry for not telling you. You know I am timid, and a coward. It is true. Coershun, I am sorry for taking you so long from your mate and son. I will take you back the compound. Phistus, I had promised my dragon, and I had let him down. I left Rancydd in charge there. Please mag me, and we will go home now, boy." The Council leader said, "Let's hope they are all right. Cain, do not let us down. If your friend, Moordryd, appears, I will tell him to help us. He is not so bad."
Cain soon reached home, and ran into the control room. He was shocked to see Rancydd and Luud pinned against the wall. After releasing them, Luud knocked him down so hard he was 'seeing' tiny dragons. She growled, and bared her fangs at him. She roared at him, and Rancydd said, "It happened so fast, Cain. One minute I was watching Luud playing with her son, and the next thing I remember was being pinned against the wall by the trapping gear. It was Armeggaddon, a Keepr they called Stewarrd, the orange dragon they called Propheci, and another Prophet. That Keeper fired the trapping gear at us, and Propheci took Lukershun away. We were helpless to save him. Coershun, I am sorry for not being alert."
Coershun roared, and clawed the ground. His rider felt Luud's hot breath, and he was furious with Cain's empty promise.

Chapter 5: A War Plan
"Unleash the Shadow!" cried Moordryd, as Artha and Beau watches him. He put the armlet into the gauntlet, and slowly transformed into Shadow Booster. Decepshun transformed into the spikey dragon. After her transformation, her dragon companion stared at her, and she roared, "Quit starring at me, and get ready to help those riders we are seeing in the distance."
Two boulders were thrown at Drakkus and Mortis. The two Elite Class riders released bolts of gold and purple. They were so busy watching Armeggadon that they did not check the mag gauge. The gauge was getting dangerously low. Mortis destroyed one boulder, and Drakkus destroyed the other boulder. Tyrannis Paxx told Abandonn, with mind link, "My energy is getting low. I cannot keep this up forever. I feel as I had run 24 kilometres, beyond the length we had raced before. What about you?" The other dragon, with its head down, replied, "I cannot keep this up either. It is draining our strength. If help does not come soon, we will be done for by those Pure Black draconium dragons, and Armeggadon. That Armeggadon believed there is some love left in my rider. Unfortunely, my rider was told it would be his weakness. I have to tell you sooner than later." Paxx suddenly panted, and replied, weakly, "Help must get here soon. We are now visibly drained, and we have to rest in order to recharge." Upon seeing the dragons weakened, Armeggadon unleashed a hurriane. Abandonn felt himself moving, and Drakkus saying, "We have to escape!"
Just when it seems Mortis and Drakkus had lost hope, a smaller dragon appeared. Drakkus turned around to look at the smaller dragon, and was pleasantly surprised to see Shadow Booster. Shadow Booster told him, "We are not going anywhere!" Another smaller dragon appeared, this time on Mortis' left. Mortis turned, and looked at the smaller dragon. He was pleasantly surprised to see Dragon Booster. Dragon Booster told him, "We stand and fight!" Moments later, the four dragons stood side by side, facing Armeggadon. Dragon Booster said, "As a team!" Together, as a team, Mortis, Dragon Booster, Drakkus, and Shadow Booster unleashed Mag Blast towards Armeggadon and his eight dragons. After the enemies had been pushed far away, Shadow Booster decided to talk to Dragon Booster. As Decepshun started walking to Beau, who had been directed to walk to her, Drakkus said, "I have no further business here, Mortis."
His forner enemy (from Return of Drakkus) replied, "Apprently, there are things in this world worth putting our difference aside." to which he said, "Not many." Abandonn turned to leave, and Decepshun, for a brief moment, though he knew she knew his secret resting place in the citidel.
Shadow Booster told Dragon Booster, "You do realize we will be both thrown out of the Academy races if they knew." Dragon Booster replied, "Not to mention the Street Crew will be after me, and Dragon Security will be after you from now on." SB replied, "Well, I guess it is our little secret then." DB grinned, "Want to finish the race?" SB said, "I am still ahead in points." DB replied, "Just barely." Beau talked to Decepshun. He asked her, "Have you ever notice the difference betwen my racing colours, and my legendary colours? I have this chin, and two small horns. How did you get to this look?" She replied, "I did not have time to look at you closely. I was driven to finish the races, and was too busy to avoid you. However, I did not quite like that red look, and those red spikes. It gives me the creeps, and I was shocked to see Moordryd riding you. I could not believe he would ride off without me! You should have seen my expression! I will not let your rider to ride me again." Moordryd, as the Shadow Booster, directed her to turn away from the black and gold dragon. He said, "See you at the final Academy event.....Stable-Brat!" She ran off.
Far away from the unexpected allies, a booming voice roused the fallen enemy. It said, "It looks like your student has turned himself away from you. It looks like he will not be helping you from now on. You must now rely on yourself, and the Shadowlings Crew. While you were busy fighting those good guys, I have found new recruits for the Shadowlings Crew. Meet Spratt, Bumpyr, Sparkk, Ferno, Chyopp, Sheyldd, Kindyll, Pylitt, Mawwl, and Sledjj. The Keepers have provided the new crew members with Green, Light Green, Gray, Light Blue, Red. Turquoise, Purple, Brown, Black, and White Gear. We, the Prophets, will continue to use Orange Gear. Ferno will be fitted with Red Fire Ball Gear, Red Heatwave Gear, and Red Fire Spike Gear. Sledjj will be fitted with the Black Psi Gear, Black Shadow Gear, and Brown Armour Gear. Sheyldd will be fitted with the Blue Absorption Armour, and Purple Tracking Gear. Pylitt will be fitted with Green Ramming Gear, Green Tail Hammer, Green Mag Cannon, as well as Gray Mudulation Pod, and Red Fire Spike Gear. The Shadowlings Crew will continue to serve you faithfully, and you will always be our leader." Armeggadon raised his head, and smiled evilly.
"Ah, Propheci. I did not expect to find you at my side. Great work in finding more crew members for the Shadowlings. But why the young ones? Do you reckon...?"
Shortcyrcut, the Keeper's leader, replied, "If I may, Propheci had believed the Shadow Booster will turn against you, and decided to find younger crews, apart from the Keepers. Younger minds are easier to feed, than older minds like the Shadow Booster." Evil laughter greeted him. Propheci said, "I was right in my belief." He magged Armeggadon to his saddle, and the eight dragons stared dumbly at them. The Black Draconium Empire leader told his eight dragons, "You eight dragons will always be my faithful ones. Come, Propheci, it is time to find the eight bonemarks for my Legues of Eight."
In another part of the wastelands, a contact was made. A worried face appeared, and said, emotionly, "Pyrrah! I have good and bad news. The good news, we fought off some intruders that had entered the fire caves. We manage to fight hard and bravely, to show we mean businnes. The bad news, the intruders have taken Sparrk and his best friend, Kindyll. From what Blazyze has told us, I believe the Prophets Crew took the two boys. The Prophets were not alone, as they had the Keepers riding them." Pyrrah stopped her dragon, and replied, "What! I don't believe this! Are you sure, Hazzard?" Phorrj roared in despair. Shock-Ra asked her, "Did you have good friends?" She replied, "Ferno and I are close to each other. We have sibling bonding with each other."
The Council members were shocked to learn about the bad news. They were too stunned to say anything, for a few minutes. They allow Pyrrah to calm down, as Hazzard replied, "I am postive, Pyrrah. With the Keepers, they will be forced to use different gears. What do you want the Dragon Flares to do now? You are our leader, and I am your second-in-command. Do you plan to mobilise the Red Draconium Empire?" Pyrrah exhaled slowly, and said, "I want you to get the Dragon Flares to form a rescue party. I will do anything to save my little brother. This empire had helped the Gold Draconium Empire. It is time to be united. Phistus, it is time to form a plan. A plan to prevent the war. If the war starts, however, we must have a war plan."
Phistus replied, "Good one, Pyrrah. I am sad about Sparkk. Kwake, I am sure you will understand her position. What will you do if Shane is taken away? You will do the same, right?" He noticed the nod, and continued, "A War Plan on preventing the war."

Thanks! :) Here is the update.
Chapter 5: Rescue
Just when it seems it cannot get any worst, the alarm sounded again. It caused the two dragons to roar, growl, and clawed the floor. Cain was allowed to get up, and he watched the monitors. In one of the monitors, the spotted intruder gave him a long face, and he said, "Well, well, look who is here!"
At the compound's entrance, the intruder could not believe it. The trapped gear was on the intruder and a dragon. As Cain and Rancydd came out, the intruder asked, "What is the meaning of this, Cain? Why did you update the security? Why? I though we are friends, after all we have been through together." Luud walked closer to the trapped dragon, who roared at her. Luud roared, "Why did you leave me, Decepshun? I though we were friends, but since you were always hanging out with Coershun, I could not continue the friendship. In any case, I have a son, and he is a lovely one. He will not have a stepmother, or an aunty."
Decepshun replied, "I did not have a choice, Luud. But you would not understand. You would always be my best friend." Her best friend replied, "You had a choice, Decepshun. You could have disobeyed Moordryd's commands. Coershun told me what had happened, and I will not forgive a friend who abandons her friends. At the racing track, he was pushed into the lava, and Beau Penn had to save him."
Cain said, "You have abandoned the Dragon Eyes Crew, as you have abandoned me. I am no longer your friend, Moordryd Paynn. I will not have anything to do with you again."
Moordryd realized his dragon was trapped close enough for him to do something. He replied, "I did not really abandon you or the Dragon Eyes Crew, because I have a secret to tell you. If you would release me please, I will show you my secret." But his comments fell on deaf ears, and since Cain was still wearing that long face, he stretched his right leg, and managed to touch Decepshun's head. Her mag energy started flowing through his leg, and one of the trapping gear's 'vines' came off. He continued to keep his foot on her head, and in a few minutes, he was free. He released his dragon, and as he did so, other members of Dragon Eyes Crew came. Kyktr roared at Decepshun, "I do not like to see Coershun looking sadder than he already is. He nearly vanished on the track, and if not for Beau, he would not be here. You have a lot to explain, Decepshun." Decepshun lowered her head, as Skope and Tricksta came towards her. She was downcast, when the other dragons roared, "Where were you, when Coershun's son was kidnapped? Too busy skidding on the race track?"
Decepshun growled, "You do not understand! I could not disobey my rider. If I am not mistaken, Beau made Luud and Coershun run away from me. Remember?"
Moordryd said, "Look, Cain. I was forced to hit you, because I have been ordered to do so. I had another mentor, and I have been listening to him ever since. He has been a bad influence, I see it now. I should not have listened to him. I had no wish to harm my friends anymore than I already have. What I am trying to say is, I am sorry. Please forgive me, Cain. I will need you at my side at the Drag Ball Finals. Armeggadon ordered me to launch a mag claw at you. If you would allow me to return, I promise to be a good Dragon Eyes Crew leader, and not abandon you again."" He took out the armulet from inside his jacket, and showed it to Cain. He cried out, "Unleash the Shadow!" as he placed the armulet into the gaunlet.
In the control room, Rancydd watched the monitor with Vizz, Swayy, Blarre, and Prankk. They gasped in surprise, as Moordryd changes into Shadow Booster. The Dragon Eyes Crew could not believe what they were seeing, and the youngest member, Vizz, said, "This is too much for me to understand. Let's go outside, and get Moordryd to explain further about the time when we were capturing a bull-class dragon." The five teenagers went outside to join Cain, Moordryd, and the dragons. Moordryd faced them, and said, "Now do you understand why I did not turn up at Cain's birthday? If you do not like what you have witnessed, I will leave the compound for good." Rancydd replied, "We understand better now, Moordryd. Your secret is safe with us. We will not reveal your true idenfity to your father. Listen, Luud, I would like you to forgive your buddy. Cain, can you accept Moordryd's apology?"
Cain sighed, and looked at Moordryd in the eyes. He raised his right hand, and said, as Moordryd took his right hand, "I accept your apology this once, Moordryd. If you do it again, I will not easily forgive you next time. Be thankful I am still in a birthday mood." The other Dragon Eyes Crew cheered loudly, when the two men shook hands, with a smile.
"Ferryt, there you are! Why are you riding in the wildness, Phistus?" called out Wulph, as the Council members heard Hyve thundering towards them. After she had stopped, she panted, because she had been running after being knocked out of the race. Phistus replied, "We have heard that Pyrrah's brother has been captured, and we are going to rescue him, and his friend. The two boys had been captured by the Prophets." This made Wulph gasp, and he continued, "Do you know where the Prophets live, Wulph?" When Wulph nodded, he went on, "Since you and Ferryt know where the Prophets made their home, you will lead us there. Kwake, may I suggest you return to the city? There is Drag Ball, and Shane could do with a last-minute advice from his Drag Ball expert of a brother." Kawake nodded, and rode away from the others. Wulph released the Tracking Gear, and as the gear flew off, he started following it, with the others following him, and Ferryt.
Some time later, the Council members stared in awe of the broken top of a cave. Pyrrah asked, "This is where the Prophets live?" Wulph nodded, and Phistus took the lead, after ordering everyone to ready trapping gear. They walked in single file, and became extra alert for any sign of ambush. As they went deeper, they were surprised to find the place empty. The Tracking Gear was ordered to scout the area. Wulph gasped, when he noticed that the place was not so empty as it seems. He said, "There are humans here, and there are no signs of any orange dragon. The humans are imprisoned, and it is impossible to tell whether Pyrrah's brother is there. Let's go, and rescue those humans."
"Thank you for rescuing us." Reepyr spoke. He listened carefully, as Pyrrah rode up to him, and questioned him. He shook his head, as the others watches. Khatah had brought the tool Parmon had used, and released the prisoners, after finding out that the control were jammed.
The Council members saw her expression, as she turned to them, and told them, "Reepyr says the Prophets had not returned, since they imprisoned him. He has not seen my brother, yet he is very concerned. He says it is sad. It is time to return to Dragon City." Reepyr rode on Phorrj, and the other five prisoners were magged onto the dragons' back.

Chapter 6: Warriors
"Listen closely to what I am telling you, Shadowlings. Do you know why you are here, Sparkk? Do you know who I am? My former student, The Shadow Booster, had betrayed me, and does not want to do anything more with me. Propheci told me that he found Stewarrd was easier than Reepyr, and had suggested to me that it would be easier to get humans younger than Stewarrd. I agreed with him, and that's why you are here." Armeggaddon spoke to the children. The youngest was Kindyll, only seven. The children were still tied by the mag 'ropes', and Sparkk replied, "My grandmother told me you were the Black Draconium Empire Leader, and you were very, very bad. The orignal Shadow Booster allied himself with the original Dragon Booster, and turned against the Prophets Crew. Why are you making us your crew members? Take me back to the Fire Caves!" Propheci showed Sparkk his teeth, and said, "Silence, Sparkk. With the Keepers at our side, Ferno and his friends will have to endure the gears they will be magging. Prophets, surround the children, so that they cannot escape. Stewarrd, toss the Mind Pods into the circle." The children were released from the 'binding rope', and they huddled closely. Sparkk's eyes widen at the sight of the Orange Mind Pods, as it was tossed in the circle. As soon as the orange winged 'balls' hit the ground, orange fog clouded the children's vision. When the fog cleared up, Sparkk said, "We are Shadowlings Crew, and we will obey Armeggaddon, the leader of the Shadowlings Crew. We will do everything he tells us to do."
Armeggaddon laughed evilly, and said, "Excellent, my young Shadowlings. That's it! It is too dangerous to go to Dragon City, while the plans are not complete. Leagues of Eight, just remember that Vysox is no longer with us. That young dragon, Decepshun, has the bonemark, Vysox. Okay, Shadowlings, I want you to tell your dragons to mag the gears the Keepers are going to provide. You and your dragons will be training in my Endurance Training. Mount your dragons, and race around the track I have made for you. There are twenty-five laps, and if you escape, the Keepers will use the Black Mag Cables. Got it? Now mount your dragons!" As the children obeyed, Armeggadon double-checked the racing track.
"The Keepers are standing by, Ameggaddon. All the Prophets are equipped with the Orange Harnessing Gear." Propheci told him. He replied, "Excellent." The racing track is similar to the one in Mechanist. It is to train the young Shadowlings to withstand conditions beyond their endurance.
After the tenth lap, the young dragons could not run anymore. Armeggaddon told their riders, "Well done, even if you have not finished twenty-five laps. You have passed my first test, The Endurance Test. Chyopp, I would like to be clear about what you had told Propheci. What ever happen to that Samorox? I want you to be loud and clear." Chyopp replied, "The bonemark, Samorox, was kicked away by Cyrano. Khatah's well trained dragons knocked the bonemark from Cyrano's head, with the help of Dragon Booster. It is said to be lost forever. This is what Khatah told me, because he does not want me to be like him." Propheci said, "We will find that bonemark, and use that bonemark on Sheyldd. She will fit in nicely with Armeggaddon's plans for the Dragon-Human War, as she can mag blue gear. I will make sure you, Shadowlings, obey our commands." One of the Prophets came running to them, and roared its comments to Propheci. Propheci replied, "It looks we have company. Shadowlings, it is time for your first combat mission. Stay in the centre of the Prophets Crew. Prophets, use those Harnessing Gear. This is to make sure the children do not attempt to escape."
The Tracking Gear landed on Wulph's arm, and Wulph said, "The Prophets Crew have been sighted, and they are in a circle, ready for anything. We must prepare ourselves for any fights. If it is a fight they want, they will get it. However, we must be careful here. Sparkk and his young friends could be here. Do not be too hasty, Pyrrah. Steady." Phistus instructed the Council members to get behind him, and the others obeyed him. Reepyr said, "Be extra careful with Propheci. He can be tricky, and he had tricked Dragon Booster and his friends before. I understand your concern, Pyrrah. Like Wulph said, do not be too hasty. We must not be too hasty to fight, however. Let's talk to Propheci first, and see what he says. Be united. Stand together." The Council members started to walk in a single file, when Phistus raised his right hand, and with Phistus leading. Pyrrah was three places behind him. She is using her telescope to observe the Prophets, and all she could see, were the orange dragons, and Armeggaddon. She guessed the children could be hidden in the centre. She said, "I am worried, Reepyr. I will do as you ask me to do. I will try to be patient. Apprently, the children are in the middle of the group."
"Here they come, Shadowlings. Get on your dragons, and stand next to the Prophets. Let the company see you. It is time to bring out the youngest member, and with you in front, Sparkk, carry this member as soon as they come close. Is that understood?" commanded Armeggadon. The children had been brain washed, and were no longer free-willed. Sparkk replied, "Understood, Boss. With this member, they would not dare to harm us." When the Council members got closer, Armeggaddon said, "Ah, the Council members. The Shadow Booster told me as much. We meet at last, face to face. I have heard so much about you, Phistus. So you are the leader of the Council? Yes, I have escaped the Shadow Track. Sparkk, show them our youngest and newest member. Now, Phistus, you do not want to harm such a helpless member, would you?" The Council members gasped in shock, when Sparkk held a dragon pup in his arms. It was Lukershun! The pup whimpered, too scared to move.
"Sparkk, what are you doing? What is that pup doing here?" Pyrrah asked her brother. She stayed behind Shock-Ra, with Khatah holding a jakk-stick. Sparkk laughed, "What does it look like, Pyrrah? We are Shadowlings Crew, and we are also Armeggadon's warriors! Do you know whose pup is this? It was taken from the Dragon Eyes Crew's compound. Its father is, I believe, a Dragon Eyes dragon called Coershun? That's right. This is Coershun's son. When Armeggaddon appeared with Stewarrd, and three Prophets, the dragon growled at them. The pup was shield beside this dragon, and the human questioned them. Stewarrd used the Trapping Gear, and pinned the defenders to the wall. The frightened pup whimpered, as it was being magged, and Armeggaddon told the pup, 'You will do most nicely with my plans. I may not have Vysox anymore, but I do have my Leagues of Eight. They will serve me without question. You will be lovely to behold, once we have found the last bonemark.' So this pup will soon have the Samorox in its head. It will grow up naturally, however. This bonemark can be found, and be used again. Do not forget this, Khatah! You had hoped it would be the last you will ever see again. I am the more experienced Shadowling, and was made a commander of the Shadowlings. Chyopp will use this pup, and the Dragon-Human War will begin. Chyopp, you are my second-in-command." The Prophets parted, and more of the children were seen.
Armeggadon laughed, "By all means, stop us. With this pup in our midst, you cannot stop us. We will not allow you to prevent the Second Dragon-Human War. I see you are prepare for a fight. Shadowlings, it is time to show your elders what you are made of. Ready your battle gears. Sparkk, use the Red Fire Ball Gear now! If you are planning to get the children now, well, you cannot." He smiled too, when the Council did not get any closer. He knew they could not get any closer. It was a stand off, and Phistus knew it. When everyone looked at him, he was seen to be afraid of giving them an order.

Chapter 7: Lukershun
Yet, in spite of what Sparkk had said, however, the pup (in front of everyone) started to glow. Sparkk directed Ferno to lower himself, and the boy placed Lukershun on the ground. The dragon stopped whimpering, and shocked everyone by roaring. It started to grow in size, until it is as big as a teenage dragon. Its fangs grew longer, and Khatah gasped, causing Shock-Ra to stand on its hind legs. On the former pup's head was a bolt-like bone, and this bone started glowing. It was the Samorox! Chyopp mounted him, and directed him to mag the Khata Gear, and Star Gear. Khatah cried out, "Chyopp, no! This cannot be happening. This is not good." At the end of the line, Chute made contact with Dragon Eyes Crew, and one of the crew members replied, "Yes, Chute. What is it? Have you found Lukershun yet? Coershun and Luud would not go anywhere until they hear news of their son. Coershun refused to obey Moordryd, who had been instructed by Word Paynn." A sound alerted her to the immediate danger, and she did not reply for a while. Chyopp had started to use the Star Gear, and was aiming at everyone in sight. Chute swung her stick left and right to deflect the stars flying towards the Council members.
She replied, "We have found Lukershun, Coershun's son. But I have bad news. He has the Samorox bonemark on his forehead, and he has been fed on a secret formula, making him older than his puphood. We will do our best to bring him back. Coershun, Luud, trust the Council members now. Cain, we will keep you up to date. I understand your dragon is furious with you. Do not promise him anything now, I am warning you. I cannot promise you anything. But we, the Council members, will do our best to save your dragon's son. I am sure Artha would know about dragon pups, because he would have seen Lance and Fracshun growing up together. We will do everything we can, Coershun, to save your son."
At the Dragon Eyes Compound, Chute's face was shown on the monitor. The Dragon Eyes Crew and their dragons were watching the monitor closely. Coershun was quaking with emotion, when it heard Chute's comments. He was worried, and nuzzled Cain's right shoulder. Cain responded by patting his neck. Moordryd said, "So you have mated Luud, Coershun? I was too busy racing to get ahead of Artha. Decepshun, do you like any of the dragons in this crew?" His dragon did not make eye contact with him for a few minutes, and growled fiercely. The other dragons responded by roaring together, and she told the other dragons (without opening her mind to her rider), "Of all the dragons, there is only one dragon to whom I had spent most of my time with. This dragon took the oppunity to find another mate, whom I had been looking up to. I am happy for these two. I just wish I had mated with the first dragon, instead of my best friend." Luud, visibly upset with the kidnap, replied, "Decepshun, you have always be like a sister to me. I have always been like a sister to you. We have always been encouraging each other to do better, and I had often let you easily. Can you blame me for what I had done? You left Coershun to fend for himself, when he, and my other best friend, Kyktr, needed you the most. What did you do? You fled in order to transform into Shadow Booster Dragon." Skope looked up from his vid game, and said, "Don't let us fight among ourselves. It is bad enough for our human riders to fight among themselves. Coershun and Luud are upset. Please do not argue again. Decepshun, you must show your rider who you like. He is getting rather impatient."
Obediently, Decepshun responded to her rider's question, and nudged Coershun. Moordryd replied, "I see it now, girl. I understand better. I am sorry to say this, but you would not be able to spend more time with Coershun whom you spend most of your time with. Spend as much as time you need, girl, with.......Yes, Father?" His wrist comm-link flicked on, and Word's face appeared.
At the citidel, Word made contact with his son, and said, "Come into my citidel, and I will tell you what your errand is going to be."
At the compound, Moordryd replied, "Yes, Father. I am on my way." The link closed, and the crew leader looked over at his crew members, who were looking at him now. He told Cain, "My father wants us to go to his citidel, because he has a job for us. Luud, I know you are upset as it is, and I would need your permission. Would you let Cain ride Coershun? I am sorry about your son." Cain told Chute, "I am following Moordryd, who has receieved some instructions from his father. You can continue to contact the Dragon Eyes Crew. You must keep Luud posted too. I will keep my comm open, so you can update Coershun. Do you read me?"
Chute continued to defend herself, as she replied, "I read you, Cain. I will keep Lukershun's parents up to date with the sitution."
At the compound, Cain asked Luud, "Luud, may I take Coershun away from you again? Oh thank you. Coershun, I am sorry to take you away from your mate again." He mounted his dragon, and his dragon followed Decepshun out of the compound.
Inside the citidel, Word Paynn faced his son, and Cain. He said, "Moordryd, Cain, you must ride out to the Hall of Records. Here is the Draconium Fragment, and this fragment will show you where to find the Hall of Records. Now go!"
Far away from the city, Propheci laughed, "I bet you did not see this coming now, did you? Prepare yourself now. Keepers, you did a great job in finding the bonemark. Lukershun, mag the bonemark onto Chyopp's dragon. It is not stable on you. Anyway, you have grown only in size, not your mind. Besides, you are too young." Lukershun, in its infant mental state, was willing to obey a command. He magged the bonemark onto Sheyldd's head, and in his modified state, he looked terrifying. The milk he had drank was spiked with a growing potion, made by the Keepers. It gave him longer fangs than transformed Decepshun's fangs. He started to glow again, and his body gave out a big flash of light, forcing everyone to cover their eyes. After the flash of light disappeared, the Council members were quite taken back by the appearance. Chute was too stuned to report her finding to the anxious Dragon Eyes Crew. All she could say was, "Lukershun!"

Chapter 8: War
One hour after leaving the citidel, Moordryd and Cain began to have an unwanted company. Moordryd handed the Draconium Fragment to Cain, and told him to go back to the compound. Cain obediently took the fragment, and drove his dragon away from Moordryd. The Dragon Booster and Beau had arrived to intercept Moordryd, and to stop him from carrying out what he had come to do.
As he looked back, Cain noticed Moordryd changing into the Shadow Booster. He drove his dragon further away, before he started to talk to Coershun, "Apprently, the Dragon Booster has other ideas, and does not want Moordryd to find the Hall of Records. Since we are far away from the compound, we might have take a look around this wildness. Although I did not bring any gear with me, I may find the Council members and help them."
"No, you cannot do that, Cain. Tomorrow, you have a Drag Ball event coming. You must not wander too far from the compound. Coershun must conserve his energy for the event. I am advising you as best as I can. Do not go and check it out." Rancydd told him, on the comm-link. Ran looked angry, and Cain cringed at the sight of his expression. Cain replied, "Okay, Ran. I will take your advice. Yes, Chute? What did you just say? Did you just mention Lukershun? What is happening?"
In another part of the wildness, Chute said, "You just would not believe what the Prophets and the Keepers did to Lukershun. They had fed him on some kind of I don't know what, and he has been growing in size, until he is as tall as Wulph's dragon. He has spikes on his tail, and on his back. Every appearance of the Furox which Pyrrah had used on her dragon. Armeggaddon is planning to use him as a new dragon of legend. It is really sad. Lukershun is turning evil, before my eyes. Armeggaddon's Leagues of Eight are at his side, and they have already knocked Wulph out cold. Shock-Ra is defending Khatah, who is down injured. I am fending off the stars. Phistus has ordered us to attack the Prophets, and he has managed to hit two of the Prophets with the Green Tail Hammer Gear. Since my dragon can take Red, Blue, Orange, Light Blue And Gray gear, my dragon has harnessing gear on. I have some orange gear on, as well as Grey Range Pod, Gray Mudulation Pod, Gray Targeting Pod, and Red Fire Ball Gear. I am not planning to run away from a fight." She fired the Red Fire Balls at the Prophets, and her target roared back at her. Marianis rode to her side, and shielded her from a stray star gear. It hit Poseidos's left hind leg, causing her to roar in pain. Her rider said, "Okay, this is the start of the Dragon-Human War, is it Armeggadon? Lukershun does not need this kind of life. Chute, we must tell our crew members, and to the Dragon City Security. This fight is getting out of hand, and the Council cannot stop this army by ourselves. Dragon Eyes, do you read me? If you can hear me, order the other crew members be alert. Warn Rivett too. I believe he has the Horn now, and Libras is needed too, as he can mag all gear types. History tells us that this ancient dragon can mag all gear types. Rivitt must be told of the new danger. Do not ask Word Paynn about this."
At the compound, Rancydd replied, "I can hear you. We, the Dragon Eyes, will not ask Word. We will head out to the Fire caves to ask Blayze about Libras. We will warn Rivitt now, and all other crew members. Captain Faier will be informed of this. Cain, come back to the compound. Do not disobey my order."
"As you order, Rancydd. I am on my way back now. I must be prepare for the Drag Ball event, tomorrow. Coershun needs all the energy he needs to push the Penn crew out." Cain told his second-in-command. Rancydd was not finished, "The Shadow Booster will be too busy for tomorrow. The Drag Ball challenge must not be cancelled. We must keep the enemy far away from the city as possible. We will call Rivitt now."
At the compound, Rancydd stroked Luud's neck. She had come to stand at his side, and her eyes were downcast. She was worried, and sad, at the same time. She opened her mind, "My son means everything to me. I am very sad that he has been taken away from me." He agreed with her, and he looked slowly at the other Dragon Eyes. They nodded sadly, as they too agreed with Luud. She continued, "This is a Dragon-Human War, and we must do everything in our means to end it, one way or another. The main point is, my son. He is not evil. This war must end!"
Please read and review. Thank you.

Chapter 9: The Horn of Libris
"What is it, Dragon Eyes? You have given me enough problems as it is. It was bad enough with Moordryd, and I had to race to the racing track, after the third trouble at the race track. The Council members raced with Artha and Moordryd. They finished without Moordryd." came Captain Faier's voice. He was at the security headquarters, and was having a tea break, when Rancydd called him. However, upon seeing Ran's expression, the captain got a feeling that the Dragon Eyes were calling him for a reason, and asked, kindly, "What do you wish to tell me, Dragon Eyes?"
Rancydd replied, "I do not wish you to be alarmed about my news. First of all, can you instruct one of your guards to check on the Horn of Libris? Is it there? This is very important. I have bad news, which the public must not be too truly alarmed. A new Dragon-Human War has begun, one hour's ride from the city. Please double-check on the Horn of Libris. Did a non-security person go into the station?Think back. The Council members are doing their best to keep the enemies far away from the city, until the Drag Ball is over. I am not asking you to cancel it. Moordryd and the Penn need to enter the Academy." Captain Faier decided to check the vault where he keeps the Horn personally. At the place where he had gone with Dragon Booster, he rubbed his eyes hard. He gasped, "The Horn! It is gone!" It was an empty glass case. Upon returning, he replied, "I am afraid to tell you that the Horn is gone. Yes, there was one non-security guard who has entered here, and that was Rivitt. He tricked the Dragon Booster and me. So the Horn is with him now. That means, he can summon Libris anytime he wants. So you are saying a new war has begun? And that the Council members are doing their best to keep the enemies from the city as far is possible? Okay, I will keep my guards on full alert. We will not alarm the public, unless the danger heads this way. Thanks for your info. We will keep in touch. Captain Faier out." After talking to the Dragon Eyes Crew, Faier ordered all the guards to come into the control room immediately. When all the guards were inside the control room, he addressed them, "The Dragon Eyes Crew, Moordryd Paynn's crew, informed me that there is a war one hour's run from the city. Phistus and the other Council members are fighting the enemies. They are doing their best to keep the fighting far away from the city. We must not alarm the public if we can help it. Tomorrow, there is a Drag Ball event coming up. Moordryd's friend told us not to cancel it. We must stay extra alert for the next few days. Understood?" The guards replied, "Yes, Sir!"
At the compound, Rancydd told the crew, "Well, we have informed Captain Faier. Now we must call Rivitt and Mechanist crew. We must make sure that the Mechanist crew do not side with Armeggaddon and the Prophets. It is time to inform the other crew members like the Inner Order, Dragon Flares, Grip of the Dragon, Will of the Dragon, and of course, those Penn Crew. But the Penn crew wil be kept busy tomorrow." His dragon growled, and opened her mind again. She was furious, "Enough talk! Half of this crew must ride out to warn the other crew members. All you do is talk, and I have enough of this. Can you do something instead of just talking? Or do you want to wait for our leader? I want to save my son. Do you have any plans on how to rescue my son? Ahh, as I suspect, you just talk. Well, if no one is going, I am leaving. Until you have a better idea, let's ride!" The other dragons agreed with her, and stood in a single file as she turned around from the monitor to go out. As she led the way, the other dragons started to follow her. Rancydd sighed, and said, "Okay, Dragon Eyes. She is right. We have been too busy talking. I will stay here, with Vizz, since Skope is too busy playing vid games." Luud paused, to allow the dragons to mag their riders, before she burst into a run towards the exit. She paused only to mag-pull the door open. Just outside the door, was Coershun with his rider, Cain. Swayy told him, "We are going to inform the other crews, if their leaders had not done so. Help us to inform them. We must separate, or the public will panic. First, how do you feel, Coershun?" Coershun rubbed heads with his mate, and roared, shaking his head. Cain replied, "The mag energy is low, and my dragon needs to rest. Since Ran does not have his dragon, Coershun can stay with him. Luud, is it okay if I ride you?" Luud roared impatiently, "Yes! Yes! Let's go!" and magged Cain from his dragon onto her saddle. Coershun roared, "Take care, Luud. Please do not take too long, or I will be worried about you." Luud nuzzled him, and ran off in a different direction, as the other crew members obediently drove away from the compound. Coershun watched his mate and friends leave, before he walks into the compound, and into the control room.
In the wildness, Propheci laughed as a Shadowling used the Orange Drag Box. The small orange gear succeeded in landing on Shock-Ra, and Khatah tried to throw them off his dragon. The Shadowling's dragon had used Red Truster Gear, and White Aero Gear to jump into the air. The Shadowling had mag contact gear on, and dropped fire gerandes too. Khatah was not prepared for the second launch, and became slightly burned as one of the gerandes touched the saddle. Shock-Ra roared, as it touched him too. Chute said, "This is getting out of hand." The dragon said, "Yes. it is getting out of hand all right, because we are going to fight until you are recruited in the Shadowlings Crew. We will not allow you to go free." The Shadowling waved cheekily at the Council members, who had become feeble, yet doggely fighting back. Phistus had hammered seven of the Prophets, with his large hammer, and his dragon had charged at ten of the orange dragons. Sparkk was locked in combat with his sister, and was refusing to listen to her. He said, "Once the Shadowlings get the Horn of Libris, there will be nothing to stop us from bringing the war closer to the city. Not even the Dragon Booster can save us, once we capture the Black and Gold Dragon. I learned he is the king of all dragons. With him at our side, this war will be as good as ours. But one of my new friends told me there is no more pure black draconium liguid. It had been used up by Beau."
Please read and review. Thanks.

Decepshunmy is busy, and I, as co-author, am writing this chapter.
Chapter 9: Alliance
In the midst of all the fighting, neither Armeggaddon or the Prophets or the Shadowlings noticed Reepyr and the other prisoners. Reepyr was riding Turbulence, and the dragon was still on her feet. She had not entered the fray much, because her rider, Chute, is keeping the Dragon Eyes Crew up to date. Reepyr launched Light Blue Stun Gear, with the dragon's help. The Gear was aimed at one of the Prophets, and he succeeded in jolting this dragon. Chute drove her dragon closer, and smiles, as the orange dragon fell. Her passenger got off, and patted the orange dragon, "I am sorry I had to stun you, my friend. Do you remember how you pull the gear cargo? Come on, let's fight together now. It is time to bring down Propheci once and for all. He is too evil for his own good. I am glad to see you equipped with Sonar Wave. It might be handy. Thank you, Chute."
Chute acknowledged his thanks, with a smile, and a friendly wave. She switched off the light blue gear, and the orange dragon turned to look at Reepyr. He was still smiling, as he helped the dragon to its feet. The dragon clearly recongised him, and nuzzled the human. Reepyr said, "I forgive you, my friend. You were not yourself the day the Shadow Booster turned up. Mag me now, and I will use more gear." The Prophet obeyed, and entered the fray. Upon entering the battle, Reepyr noticed Chyopp on Sheyldd's saddle, and Sheyldd had the Samorox on her head. Chyopp saw him, and fired Blue Star Gears at him. Reepyr's dragon used mag-blast on the gear, destroying the stars. Reepyr tried to use Trapping Gear, but she was too fast, and drove her dragon away. Her dragon roared a challenge, and Reepyr's dragon roared back, refusing to take the bait. He noticed Lukershun at a corner of his right eye, and used Light Green Escaping Gear, which his dragon had been given earlier by the Keepers. He drove his dragon away from the charging Lukershun, and went to another part of the fray, joining Phistus.
Lukershun roared, in despair, as he reached the place where Reepyr had been. He was as tall as his parents, and had Black Mag Cable Gear, Green Mag Cannon, Green Tail Hammer Gear, Green Ramming Gear, Light Blue Slicker Gear, on his body. He had no rider, and had no need of a rider, because the growing formula was spiked with no need of rider formula. He can use the gears without any help, and he roared at Sheyldd, "Come on, let's do for our master, Armeggaddon. He wants a war, and we shall give it to him then. Bumpyr, stop playing with the blue dragon. Stand beside Sheyldd now!"
Bumpyr jumped yet again, and his rider released Red Fire Grenades on Khatah, whose armour was taking most of the injury. Bumpyr's rider acknowledged the request, and back on the ground, charged into Shock-Ra. Shock-Ra was knocked off his feet, and Bumpyr used Orange Forcing Gear onto Khatah. The Shadowling laughed evilly, and Khatah noticed for the first time that the child's eyes were swirling orange. He knew then that the Shadowling was mind-controlled, and realized the other children were mind-controlled too. Khatah gasped, when he realized this. Chyopp and Lukershun joined him. Chyopp asked, "What is the matter, Khatah? You cannot take the heat from the battle? You think you can draw Armeggaddon away from the city? Not a chance. There are too many Prophets for this small group of defenders. Once we have weakened you, you will join the Shadow Crew. Shadowlings are for children like me, and Spratt here. Take a good look around. Pyrrah is locked in combat with her younger brother, and she is refusing to back off, much as she dislikes to harm Sparkk. Join me, Khatah, and together, we can capture.......what is that?"
In a few minutes, the ground shook, and both the Council members and the Shadow Crew paused in their combat to be extra alert on the newcomer's arrival. It did not take long before the newcomer came into view, and Pyrrah gasped when she saw the newcomer. The newcomer spoke up, "Allies, you sure put up a good fight. Not to worry now, the Mechanists Crew is here to help you! I was told to keep the Shadowlings Crew as far away from the city as possible. Let's do our battle right here!" Pyrrah smiled, "Rivitt! Thank goodnes you are our side." Libris roared, and launched the Black Mag Cables. Libris can mag all gear types, like Beau. Rivitt was in his HQ, with his crew, when Rancydd of the Dragon Eyes contacted him. Rancydd told him, "Captain Faier told me you went to the Security Building to steal the Horn of Libris, and you succeeded in stealing the horn. Lucky for the Council members and the Dragon Booster, you appeared just in time to save them. If you had not appeared, they would not be able to split in two. I call you, because Libris is the second oldest dragon, in fact the oldest dragon now. You are needed, because Moordryd told me about the day he encounter your dragon. He told me afterwards that it was dangerous, and had no desire to call Libris again. Armeggaddon and the Prophets have captured children to become a new crew called Shadowlings. They are one hour's ride from the city, an hour if you are running all the way. They have found the last bonemark too. The Council members had ridden out there to keep them away from the city. If you can side with the Council members, it will be better. Some of my crew members have to inform the other crew members. Faier has been informed of the danger, and is watching the monitors closely. I urged him not to alarm the public just yet."
Rivitt replied, "I had helped the Penn Crew to get into the Acedemy. Know too that I was a dropout. I will call my dragon, Libris, and ride out to dispel the enemy. I am willing to help prevent the war from getting too close to the city. Thanks, Dragon Eyes. I do not need a reward. I will not harm the young dragon if I can help it."
Once out in the open, Rivitt blew on the Horn of Libris, and waited. He was not anywhere near a crowded area, and had no wish to alarm the public. He did not wait long before a huge dragon came pounding towards him. He smiled, when the dragon recongized him, and magged him onto his back. He called his crew to bring to him the battle gears, and Libris waited patiently. After the crew brought the gear, the dragon magged the gear onto his body. Rivitt said, "Libris, you are an ancient dragon, and in the wrong hands, can destroy things. I have been told that Armeggaddon is back, and has already started a Dragon-Human War. He means to drag the war to the city, and his army is being held by back, but the defenders cannot withstand it any longer. I am taking their side, since the Black and Gold dragon is kept busy with other tasks. You, Libris, can mag all gear types. Come, we will go by the long way. We must not alarm the people with your appearance."

Chapter 10: United Crew
It has been two hours since Libris arrived, and the Council members' dragons are getting weary. The Council members are starting to realize they cannot keep using the attack gears, and decided to fight the Prophets on foot. They instructed their dragons to mag them off the saddle, and with the last reserve of energy, the dragons obeyed. After it was done, the dragons lowered their heads. Sparkk laughed, when he saw his sister being magged off, and launched a strong mag-blast from his dragon's chest. Pyrrah was, however, ready to receive the mag blast, and as soon as it came, she deflected it off by whirling her jakk-stick round. She gave a small smile, when she saw her brother's angry face, and she knew at once that her brother would not give up. She does not want to talk anymore, but she told him, "Okay, Sparkk. I will play your game now. I know now you will not give up." Her dragon was low on energy, and roared at Sparkk. The dragon looked dejected. Sparkk said, "A Shadowling told me that a Crew's elder had worked half a lifetime creating something, and had succeded in making the Dragon of Legend into a slave. But then, the Penn Crew had worked on a counteract potion to free the dragon. Armeggaddon believed he can enslave the dragon. He is planning to use this dragon as a slave. Lukershun will make it change its mind."
"This had better be good, Dragon Eyes. We have no liking for the Dragon Eyes Crew, because we had bad experiences in the past." spoke Zann. He entered the compound, with his crew following closely behind him, and Cain riding beside him. Trannce had spoken to Luud, and had understood the news better than his elderly rider. He too had no liking for Dragon Eyes Crew dragons, either, but it was war time. The Inner Order rode into the huge grounds, and they were soon followed by Blayze and her Dragon Flares Crew. Rancydd faced them, having beng alerted by Coershun earlier. Skope who was busy playing vid-game had heard dragons coming towards the compound. Rancydd said, "You are right, Zann. Dragons Eyes are indeed trouble makers, but this is war time, and it is time the different crews get together to fight the real treat, Armeggaddon. Cain has been told much, but he cannot remember what Word Paynn had told him. We, Dragon Eyes, need your wisdom. Yours too, Blayze. Word is busy, and besides, he was no match for Armeggaddon, even with the Penn Crew's elder. It is true the Dragon Eyes Crew are well known as troublemakers, and had caused other crews to dislike us. But at this time, we must put our differences aside. With due respect, Zann, we would be honoured with some history lessons, please?" He bowed low, in respect of the elder. Trannce magged his rider off his saddle, and at the same time, watching Coershun whimpering openly to Luud.
When Luud entered the Inner Order compound, she had voiced her thoughts, and he had responded to her story. Cain held up his hands, when he intruded into the compound. Sarjo asked, "What do you want, Cain? You have caused enough trouble for Khatah and me. I have not forgotten about the Wraith Dragon that slowed my dragon down, in order to let Moordryd's dragon to reach the Horn of Libris. The Inner Order Crew were sad and angry with the sudden change. You had better have a good explaination for coming here. If anything has happened to Khatah, I will not be easy on you." Zann replied, "Let's hear what Cain has to say, Sarjo. I do not like him, either." In the mean time, Luud had refused to mag any black gear. She roared, and the blue dragons suddenly feel sorry for her. She was saying, "I have some news for you, Inner Order. I have become a mother, and I have one son. But the ancient terror, the Leader of the Black Draconium Empire, has kidnapped my only son. I had only enjoyed my motherhood for an hour. If you would persuade your riders to listen to you, I will need all the help I can get. Shock-Ra is doing all he can. Please help me to rescue my son. I had made Coershun my mate. Please, Trannce. You are the eldest of the Inner Order dragons." Trannce replied, "I am very sad to hear it, Luud. I will instruct my crew to do everything they can to help you. I will follow you to your HQ." The old dragon turned to the other dragons, and growled, "If you do not feel like following me, Shuko, you can stay here. Do you hear me? I do not like the Dragon Eyes either, but Luud is very sad. Do you understand?" Shuko cringed at his elder's roar, and respectfully lowered his head. Trannce nodded, pleased that he had restored order.
Inside the Dragon Eyes Compound, all the other dragon crew members gathered around Zann and Blayze. The other Dragon Eyes Crew members had arrived with the other crews, and sat in the circle. The dragons gathered nearby. Zann, the elder of the two elders began, "Three thousand years ago, vast human empires based on dragon color and energy formed across the planet! These empires formed alliances, conquered each other and brought the planet to the brink of total annihilation. At some point the Dragons, realized they’d been duped and abused by humans and rose up against their masters. It was a war that threatened the survival of both species until one pure Star-Dragon, (the original Beau), chose a human Dragon Booster to prove that unity was still possible. To this end, some of the still sympathetic green and brown dragons mined the gold draconium needed while red dragons forged a suit of magical gold draconium armor. The original Dragon Booster, when balanced with the star-dragon Beau, was able to release the full powers of the dragon himself and the armor which possessed almost magical powers! But he and Beau were two against a world, and to stop the war, Beau and the original Dragon Booster needed to turn the four other main colors of draconium to their side. They needed to win over the Green, Red, Blue and Black Draconium Empires or the rest would surely destroy the planet. After great trial and tribulation, the Dragon Booster and the star-dragon named Beau were able to combine forces with the four main dragon Empires. Together they powered-up the ancient structures of gold draconium under the planet and with a burst of "balanced" power, defeated the bred dragons under human control. Each of the dragons were returned to their original "gold" state. The powerful Bone-Marks were severed and soon fell off. The war was over and peace was restored but again the Dragon Priests warned of another prophesy: "The dragon with the star bone mark will return. He is the dragon of ultimate power. He will come to help save the world from a second great dragon-human war. This dragon is the only dragon that will choose his rider. This chosen one will be the new Dragon Booster. Only by balancing the draconium powers of the dragon, can the Dragon Booster release all dragons and save the world. The original Shadow Booster trapped Armeggaddon, the leader of the ancient Black Draconium Empire in the Shadow Track. He had his eight loyal dragons (Leagues of Eight), and nothing could stop him. At the same time, the Orange Dragons were evil too. They never wanted humans to be living together with the dragons. The original Dragon Booster and Shadow Booster had joined forces to stop the orange dragons. Armeggaddon is bad enough on his own, and by combining forces with the Prophets, there is no telling what they can do to the city if they enter. There are five colours of Power and Balance. These five had stopped the Dragon-Human War, and they are Gold, Red, Blue, Green, and Black. Now for this second Dragon-Human War, the allies of the original Dragon Booster must join forces again. The current Dragon Booster needs to be told of this war, and he will receive help from the Inner Order, the Blue Draconium Empire. What say you, Blayze of Dragon Flares? Do you agree to ally with the Dragon Booster?" He took a deep breath. Before Blayze could reply, there was a disturbance from the back of the gathered crew members, and Luud got up to greet the newcomer, who roared a reply, "What is going on, Luud? Why did you not ask your rider to summon me? Hey, it is okay. I am tired after meeting Beau."
Moordryd scolded his crew, "I am the Dragon Eyes leader, and I should have been called. So the Dragon Booster must be told of the war? Well, you are right. Tonight, we must hold a council meeting. However, you must excuse Cain and me tomorrow. We are teaming up together in the final Drag Ball against Artha. It is true the ancient Dragon Eyes had started the war, but with the other Boosters correcting him, the Shadow Booster had stopped the War. The Shadow Booster and Dragon Booster had indeed turned against the orange dragons. They had allies, in the form of Fire Booster, Energy Booster, and Power Booster. The Dragon Booster will be told of the treatening war that is looming, in due time."
He looked at Decepshun, who was still hugging Luud, and the dragon looked back at him. Luud looked at him too. She knew he was the Shadow Booster, and she knew that the Shadow Booster must not be disturbed. Decepshun knew that the Dragon Booster must not be disturbed either. Besides, her mag-claw had sent the Dragon Booster into some boulders, and he had hurt himself badly, in his right rib. She faced the other crew members' dragons, and roared, "Shock-Ra is capable of defending himself. I am confident he can take care of himself, even after he had been drained of his energy. Do not look so worried, Inner Order. As the leading Dragon Eyes Dragon, I will lead you into battle. You must excuse me for being so tired. I had been ridden for two hours, and my energy is low." Luud stayed close to her, as she walked to the dragons' circle.
Moordryd raised his arms, when he noticed the other crews whispering among themselves, and said, "I have caused a lot of trouble to you all many times, because my father raised me. He was too busy to truly take care of me, and had hired a nanny to look after me. I was only an infant, when my mother died. I will not forget the kindness Artha had shown me. He saved me from falling to my death. If it had not been for him, I would have been injured or worse. I propose we form a new crew, United Crew. This shows that the different crew members are united in this second Dragon-Human War. Do you agree with me?" Again, there were whispers. In the end, Sarjo who had disagreed with his elder, spoke up, "Moordryd is right. We must stand united, and only then, we can end the war. But there is one minor problem for Armeggaddon. He does not have the dragon of legend, which we can use to our advantage meaning he cannot call all the dragons."
Please read and review. Is the story too long and dragging?

Chapter 11: War Dawn
Ignoring the fighters, Armeggaddon turned his back on them to look at the Keepers Crew. The Keepers Crew were checking the gears for any defects, and they busied themselves with repairing a Red Heat Wave Gear, which a Shadowling had brought back. Since Armeggaddon and the Keepers were too busy, they did not realize the danger before it was too late. A well-aimed mag-claw hit Armeggaddon fully in the back, causing him to fall down. The former leader of the Black Draconium Empire turned his head to see who had fired at him, and before he could see who was his attacker, he was magged into the air for a few seconds, and the mag-flow stopped suddenly, making him fall again. A voice said, "You were so busy, Armeggaddon, to notice me. Remember me?" It was Reepyr, on his orange dragon mount. Reepyr fired the Red Fire Ball Gear at Armeggaddon, whose reaction was sudenly slow. It was a direct hit, and the ancient enemy was sent flying to a nearby rocky hill. Reepyr asked, "How do you like that? Caught you by surprise?" Suddenly, without warning, he was flung out off his dragon's back, and he landed on his chest, hitting his face on the ground. His dragon fell on top of him.
A roar caused him to look up, and at first, he could not see anything else except Phistus battling one of the Prophets. A second roar caused him to turn his head around, and he gasped with what he was seeing. A black dragon was looking at him, and licking its chops at the same time. It was laughing, and at the same time, raising its right fore leg. It was going to strike Reepyr, when a voice called out, "Stop, Lukershun! That's enough. Do not harm him. That is an order. Do you hear me?" Reepyr could not believe his ears. He thought to himself, "So this is the dragon that was kidnapped from the Dragon Eyes Crew. Armeggaddon stole it, while it was still an infant. How sad." Lukershun put his claw down, without making a sound. Reepyr faced Armeggaddon, and said, "Since when have you be kidnapping dragon pups? Who told you about a dragon pup?"
Armeggaddon looked down at him, and with a smirk on his face, replied, "One of the Shadowlings Crew members told me about the different Dragon Eyes Crew members. He said that this member had followed Moordryd to a gear shop. This red-haired member had a dragon, named Luutt. Luutt's rider was pinned, according to the Shadowling's account. She was not ridden again on that day, and was left to wander the streets alone. From what I had learned from the Vysox bonemark, she understood another dragon's feelings. She was often neglected, and heard the Black and Gold dragon's order to come to the Dragon Eyes Compound. She obediently followed the other dragons. I detected an egg, through the bonemark. I did not have a dragon, but now Lukershun is my dragon. I created the fomula myself, so that he will obey my orders at all times. The Shadowlings Crew consists of Inner Order, Grip of the Dragon, Dragon Eyes, and the Penn Crew. Spratt was formerly in Dragon Eyes Crew, but the Penn Crew opened his eyes. The Keepers and the Prophets Crews had recruited these young crew members, because I wanted younger people to train. The Shadowlings Crew had been trained hard and fast. All of them will obey my orders."
In the compound, Zann shiftled a yawn, and Rancydd said, "We will decide on a plan, in the morning. Zann, Blayze, you are welcome to use the Dragon Eyes Living Room as a bedroom tonight. It is getting late, and it is time we sleep."
Armeggaddon turned away from Reepyr, and ordered Lukershun to mag Reepyr to a spot in the Shadow Crew Camp. The black dragon obediently magged Reepyr, and his leader used a mag-claw on the orange dragon, calling, "Tekky! Enslave this dragon immediately! Make sure no one else can talk to him." Tekky came out with the Black Control Gear, and Lukershun magged it onto the orange dragon, ignoring Reepyr's cry of despair, "Nooooooooooo!" The teenager was thrown into a cage, which had been taken from the Dragon Eyes compound. To his shock, Reepyr found Khatah, Wulpuh, Phistus, and Pyrrah sitting inside the cage. Armeggaddon said, "It is getting late. My crew will overpower the other defenders, and you can all spend the night here in this cage. Soon, you will be my prisoners. I will use you to talk to your crew members so we can get closer to the city. After three thousand years, the city will experience war again. But first, I must get my hands on the black and gold dragon. Only then will the city truly experience the Dragon-Human War. Spratt told me that Moordryd's father had controlled the dragon of legend, but the Dragon Booster stopped him in the end. Once the dragon is in my hands, Dragon City will be in choas, and the people will see a war dawn."
Libris was showing no signs of defeat, and Rivitt had tossed fifteen Prophets around. Propheci was shouting, "Get him, Shadow Crew! Don't be afraid of the big, grey dragon! Stop him. He cannot last forever." Rivitt did not dare to say anything to please Propheci and the Prophets Crew. He knew in his heart that they were right, and he did not show any sign of defeat, not yet. Libris had kicked fifteen dragons. Propheci fired Orange Mind Pods, and the grey dragon successfully evaded it. Rivitt could see clearly that the council members were weakening, and it strengthened his resolve to continue defending himself. He knew he must get away before he gets too weak to resist the enemies. He drove his dragon away, and activated the Red Thruster Gear, blocking the orange dragons off. Propheci was struck by the flames, and it temporarily blinded his sight. With a roar of despair, Propheci allowed Rivitt and Libris to escape. His crew stopped in front of the flames, unable to go any further. Prophechi roared, "You will never get away with this, Libris! We will get you, if it is the last thing we do. You will not escape from us again. You cannot escape the next time we meet."
"Good work, Libris. It was best to get away from the Prophets, and we can decide on how to rescue the council members. The Shadow Crew is cunning, and will not let us get away so easily. We must leave this wildness, and made contact with the other crews. Are you listening? Once we are near the city, hide yourself as best as you can, and I will make my way to the Dragon Eyes Crew Compound. I can report there on everything that has happened here. As it is early night, I will report to the leader in secret. Moordryd will be busy tomorrow." Rivitt told his dragon. Libris voiced, "I am listening carefully to what you are saying, Rivitt. I am huge, and people will actually get scared seeing my huge frame. I will do as you command."
Nearer towards the city, Libris's mag energy was decreasing, and Rivitt got down from his dragon. The man patted the dragon, and said, "Rest now, Libris. I will call you if I need you, with the horn. You have done a good job. The sheer number of the Shadow Crew could have easily overpower us. The Council members had done their best to defend themselves, especially Pyrrah. She never wanted to fight against her own brother. Right, I will sneak into the city, so that no one can see me." Pressing a few buttons on his wristwatch, Libris watched as Rivitt became invisible before his eyes. The gray dragon became very alert, and looked in all directions.
"Wh-what are you doing here? I though you should be battling Armeggaddon and his Shadow Crew. Anyway, what is happening there?" Rancydd asked Rivitt. Rivitt had suddenly appeared behind the Dragon Eyes Crew, startling Cain who actually jumped and had landed in Moordryd's arms. Moordryd dropped his friend straight away, and Decepshun laughed. Rivitt had appeared behind Cain, and had tapped him. He replied, "Armeggaddon and his Shadow Crew have overpowered the Council members with their sheer number. Several of the Council members are imprisoned. On my dragon's back, I could see everything clearly. Reepyr lost his dragon too. The weakened dragons are trapped in the Trapping Gears, and they will be forced to be recruited as Shadow Crew members. Armeggaddon is not going to stop. He will be pushing his crew towards the city. I have to get away from there, before I get captured too. It is getting late, Ran. May I sleep here with you tonight? My crew are also joining us. I had called them to assemble here, and they want to be included."
A disturbance made the Dragon Eyes go outside to check, and they saw several Mechanist Crew members. Rancydd called out, "Do not panic, United Crew. I have allowed the Mechanist Crew to join the United Crew. We are planning to stop this Dragon-Human War together, and it will not do if we fight among ourselves. Forget the past for now. Remember the present." Moordryd said, "Rancydd is right, United Crew. We are all in this together. Night is here, and I suggest we sleep early tonight. We can all get an early start. What do you say? Let's put our differences aside. Fighting among ourselves is the path to a Dragon-Human War. I made that path for the Council members. Kindly do not disturb Blayze and Zann. I will take some of my father's wraith dragons to join us in our cause. Goodnight." The Mechanist Crew walked slowly into the compound, as the other crew members watched them closely. Rivtt met them personally, and led them to the other side of the large group. The dragons watched them carefully too.
Elsewhere, Armeggaddon said, "Stop fighting, Shadow Crew. Put the defenders in the cage, and post five Prophets to watch them. There must be guards at all times, so that these defenders cannot plan anything. They can sleep in the cage. Tomorrow, we will march into the city itself. It is about time the city gets the taste of the second Dragon-Human War!" His words cheered the Shadow Crew, and the Shadowlings Crew. Lukershun roared its approval, and was patted on the head.

Chapter 12: The City Braces
In the morning, the Dragon Eyes Compound was slowly turning into a concert hall, as the different crew members woke up one by one. Moordryd was the first to stir, and he stretched his limbs, getting the sleep out of them. Decepshun stirred in her sleep, her eyes still closed, and he allow her to sleep a bit further, as she will need all her strength for the Drag Ball finals. Coershun woke up, and watched him. Moordryd patted the dragon, and earned a low growl of disapproval from Luutt. A crew member called for a bucket of water to be brought into the living room cum bedroom, and Moordryd slapped his forehead. Coershun laughed quietly, by shaking its body, and waking its mate. Moordryd went to get a bucket of water and two towels, bringing it into the living room. Blayze was just stirring herself awake, and Zann was still fast asleep, and snoring. She thanked Moordryd, as she took one towel, and wetted it. Moordryd replied quietly, "My mother died a long time ago. Zulay Paynn. I do not know how to be gentle and kind. I was only a baby, when my mother died. If you need anything else, just call for any of the Dragon Eyes Crew members. I had briefed them last night to assist the United Crew in anyway they can. I need to get ready for the finals today. If Zann wakes up after I am gone, tell him what I had told you. I am sorry to mislead your granddaughter, Pyrrah. She is a good person."
Elsewhere, in the wildness, Lukershun stood in front of the cage, and watched the sleeping Council members carefully. He ordered the Prophets guards to remain alert at all times, and not to let the prisoners out of their sight, not for a minute. His orders woke up Chute, and she rubbed her eyes. She looked around her prison, and saw only the Council members. She said, "Lukershun, you are as evil as Armeggaddon. If your parents were here, they will knock some senses into you. You are as evil as Vysox, who was totally obedient to Armeggaddon. You are a bad pup!" The black dragon pressed its fangs against the cage's bars, and growled evilly. Propheci appeared, and said, "Lukershun is angry with your comments, Chute. As for Turbulence, she will be most helpful to us with her skills. Her skills will be useful for our operation." Chute replied, "Don't you dare touch my dragon, Propheci. One of these days, the Dragon Booster and the Shadow Booster will stop you and the Prophets." Propheci laughed, "Dragon Booster and Shadow Booster against my crew. Like in the past, huh? Well, we, the Shadow Crew, will not allow that to happen again. Mark my words. Armeggaddon will do as he pleases with your dragon."
Taking his place, Captain Faier hid himself in the shadow. Two of his men were in the passenge with Artha and Shane. Shane asked one of his men, "Why is security tight here? Why are you here?" One of the men replied, "We have orders to patrol the borders, to make sure it is secured. If there are any trouble makers, we will do our duty to protect you and the audiences. Your safety is our top priority." His friend replied, "Focus on the event. Good luck on getting in there, Artha Penn." pointing to the tall structure in the distance. The two security guards esorted the two young men out into the field, and one of the men faintly heard, "What is going on down there?"
Out in the field, Moordryd spotted Captain Faier, and the captain showed him the thumbs up. Coershun was restless, and his rider told him softly, "I understand how you feel, Coershun. There is nothing you can do to help him right now. Focus on the Drag Ball. I promise I will be at your side, when this is all over. I will help you to find your son. You need to focus on this final match now, please." Moordryd said, softly, "Our crew will start searching for your son now. I have instructed the crew to prepare everyone with attack gears. All dragons can use all gear types, but some gear types are not powerful on certain dragons. Rivitt has ensured me all the dragons will be fitted with the special gear Decepshun wore once. You are my dragon's best friend, and she does not want you to be sad now. There is nothing you can do to help him now."
In the compound, Rancydd touched the gear on Luutt's head, and Rivitt smiled, "It will be useful for our attack. Our dragons will not tire easily. I sold Moordryd a grey gear, but he did not pay full price. As a result, his dragon Decepshun ran out of energy and could not finish the race. Wait, you cannot go outside without having a spot of breakfast now, can you? Surely, you would need all the energy for the fight. Ah, here comes my crew, the Mechanists Crew. Do not worry about food poisoning." Rancydd replied, "You heard Rivitt. Come, and get your share. Wait! Let Blayze and Zann come forward to claim their breakfast." The other crew members did not dare to comment, and they respectfully stepped aside, as the elders walked towards the food. Zann took his box, and Blayze took her box. Luutt roared, and Zann faced the crew members, saying, "May I suggest you line up one behind the other. It is neat, and ordrerly. Please do not fight each other. I will not tolorate fighting among ourselves. Is that right, Blayze?" Blayze nodded, with a grin. Luutt smiled, and was the first in the dragon line. Libris growled, and Rivitt turned towards him, "Libris, you are easily the largest dragon present here. There is plenty of food for everybody."
Libris nodded, and sat down behind the Mechanist Crew. Luutt magged the breakfast box a Mechanist Crew was holding, and went to sit nearby. She opened it, and started to eat the food. The other dragons obediently waited in line, to take their share of breakfast. Over at the human lines, Sway was the first in line, and he took his box. He thanked Rancydd, and went to sit down. The elders had gone back to the living room to have their breakfast.
"Are you sure this will work, Ran? What if our dragons are ambushed before they have a chance to attack?" Dorsull asked Rancydd. Rancydd had finished serving Spynn, and was taking his fair share. Holding the box, Rancydd went to sit next to Dorsull, and replied, "Vizz, our Dragon Eyes Surveillance Expert, will not allow you to be ambushed. He will survey the enemy, and relay his information to Prankk, our Dragon Eyes Trap Expert. He and Prankk will be working together as a team. They will not be alone, as they would also team up with Klynch, Chukks, Ferryt, Stallkrr, and Kwarry. They will decide on the best course of action for the United Crew. Do not worry too much, Dorsull." Dorsull replied, "That's why I am worried, Rancydd. I am just worried about Miarianis. She is stuck with Armeggaddon and his Crew." Rancydd patted his shoulder, and smiled, "We will get Armeggaddon and his Shadow Crew. Do not forget he and his crew have captured younger members of these crews. They are young, and can easily turn against their elders. Moordryd is depending on us, and Coershun is depending on us to get his son back. Eat up your food, and we can be on our way." Dorsull obediently finished his breakfast, and Highhyve came over to him, with Luutt at his side. Luutt urged the two teenagers to be on their feet, and Rancydd obeyed her. At the entrance, Trannce was waiting, with Zann on his back. Beside him stood Votyv with Blayze.
Rancydd mounted his dragon, and the United Crew members followed him. Rivitt said, "I will catch up with you, Rancydd. My crew and I will clean up here. We do not want Moordryd to scold us." Ran agreed, and drove Luutt in front of Trannce and Votyv.
"Come, Shadow Crew, it is time to enter the city. It is high time the city gets a taste of the second Dragon-Human War! Anr'key, stay here with three of the Prophets. Guard the prisoners well." Armeggaddon told the Shadow Crew. Anr'key roared, and Propheci said, "She will do her job well, Armeggaddon. She is my second-in-command." The ancient leader of Dragon Eyes laughed evilly, "You had better be right about this, Propheci. If she does not do her job well, I will deal with her myself. Follow me, Shadow Crew, and Shadowlings!" He mounted Lukershun, and the dragon stood on his hind legs. The dragon roared, kicking his front legs, and ordered everyone to line up behind him with his tail. The Shadow Crew and the Shadowlings obeyed his order. Armeggaddon said, “Good. This will hide out numbers. Great work Lukershun. I am sorry I cannot stay ad chitchat with you, Council members. But I have a city to run. So long! I will not be seeing you for a long time. You will not be able to escape from that prison.”
Chute shook the cage irritably. Her actions woke the other Council members up, as they groggily yawned. First to wake up was Phistus, and he complained, “Ooh, my throbbing head! I feel as if I had knocked my head into the boulders several times! That’s what it feels like now.” There was a swelling on his large head, and Chute tenderly touched it, causing him to make a face. She said, “You are bigger than any of us, and that injury would have killed a lesser person. You are lucky to be in one piece, Phistus. You better not move, or you will get a headache. Trust me. How are you feeling, Khatah?” The Inner Order leader replied, “Faring slightly better than Phistus. The Prophets have crippled me, sensing I am good with martial arts. Where is Shock-Ra?” “Shock-Ra is over, Khatah, out of sight. While we were sleeping, I heard him whimpering, and one of the Prophet guards shocked him. He was shocked to be quiet.” Pyrrah told Khatah, winching as she slowly sat up. Suddenly, a whimper could be heard from the other cage. Without seeing the dragons, the Council members could not tell who is in pain. Anr’key took one of her guards to the dragon cage. One of the Keepers was there, and could be heard saying, “This white dragon is refusing to cooperate, Anr’key. Should we distress her again?” Propheci’s second in command growled, “Do it again. Turbulence, be good and cooperate with us. That goes with the rest of you, Council Dragons. It will not be nice if you do not cooperate with us.” Turbulence whimpered again, as a Keeper trust a spear at it. The dragons’ cage was smaller than the humans’ cage, and there was not much room to move around. The other dragons roared angrily, as they reacted to their friend’s appeal. Shock-Ra growled ferociously, and Anr’key told him, “Be quiet, all of you! I will order the Keepers to give you Wraith Gears. Do you want that? If you do not want to wear it, I suggest you keep quiet.” The dragons angrily obeyed, and she said, “That’s better.”
“It has been so long since I last saw Dragon City. It is as I remembered it. Lukershun, you may not remember it, but this is where your father and mother live. You are a Shadowling Crew member, and I will not let you to walk free. Oh no, I cannot let you do that.” Armeggaddon told Lukershun. With his right hand, he draw on Mag Fury, and once it is done, his dragon magged him into the air, and he could see in the distance four dragons running around. Laughing evilly, he released Mag Fury at the four dragons.
“Dragon Eyes two. Penn zero!” came the comments. In the seating area, Connor, Word, Sentrus, and her friend, were watching Artha, Shaynn, Moordryd, and Cain. Moordryd has just scored the second goal.
Decepshun magged her rider down, as Moordryd received the cheers from the audience. Minutes later, Artha angrily spoke to his partner, Shaynn, and Rumbull’s rider listened. The Drag Ball came up from the hole in the ground, and Decepshun slowly magged her rider up. Beau bared his fangs, and magged Artha from Rumbull’s back, putting Shaynn onto Rumbull’s saddle. Cain noticed, and was going to harness Coershun’s mag energy, when his dragon suddenly roared, and reared onto its hind legs. Artha was magged into the air by Beau’s mag energy, and his father was watching his flight process.
Cain asked, “What is the matter, Coershun? We must cut the stable brat off.” His dragon shook its head, and continued to roar. He patted Coershun, and the dragon clawed the ground, still roaring. Cain flicked open the control switch that is connected to the dragon’s mag energy, and pressed it. Coershun felt its energy leaking from its body without his free will, and its controlled energy shot at Beau’s mag energy. Beau bent its legs, and felt its energy snapping off. In the air, Artha felt the energy shutting down, and he found himself falling down. He managed to land on his feet, and at the same time, felt pain in his right ribcage.
Cain asked, “Why did you roar, Coershun? You will frighten the audience, who may think you are out of control. Why are you still clawing the ground?”
“Captain, by the looks of the direction, it is heading straight for the Drag Ball Field! Should we intercept the intruders?” A security guard panted to his Captain. Without a pause, Captain Faier instructed his men, “Take the entire security to take on the intruders. We cannot allow the Drag Ball to be cancelled. Dragon Eyes crew members were right! Move out!”
Armeggaddon could see a dragon clawing the ground, and he used a telescope. He noticed the clawing dragon’s body color, and guessed at once this was Coershun, Lukershun’s father. He faced the Shadow Crew, and told them, “There is some sort of event going on in the city, and one of the dragons has sensed my presence. The dragon is restless. Prepare yourself for a battle, as it looks like we have company!”
Captain Faier raced ahead of his men, and could see the intruders clearly. He looked up, and saw Armeggaddon. Like most people in the city, he has heard the story of the First Dragon Human War. He stopped twelve feet from the intruders, and readied his Trapping Gear. His men followed his example, and he asked, “Who are you? What do you want from us? Why do you want to start a second Dragon-Human War?”
Armeggaddon laughed, as he was magged down to the saddle, “Surely you have heard of Armeggaddon, leader of the ancient Dragon Eyes Crew? Armeggaddon, with his dragon, Vysox, and the Leagues of Eight. I want you to surrender to me and my new crew members, The Shadow Crew and the Shadowlings Crew. Come on, my crew. Show these guards that we cannot be ordered around. I want to show you my crew, who are loyal to me.” His crew showed themselves, and the guards gasped. Propheci smiled, "I am Propheci, leader of the Prophets Crew. I am sure you cannot be too scared of the Shadowlings. Would you dare to attack harmless, defendless children? I don't believe you would want to attack these children." Lukershun faintly heard his father's roar, and Propheci must have heard it too, because he said, "Lukershun, you are a Shadowling Crew now. Instill fear into these terrified guards. I do not believe they want to attack the children. Charge into the guards."
Lukershun obediently charged into the blue dragons, and the Shadowling Crew followed his example. Faier readied his stick, and lashed out at Lukershun. Lukershun grabbed the stick with his fangs, and with his front legs, slashed the blue dragon's neck, causing it to roar in pain. His rider fired a close range Mag Claw, and Faier was flung out of his dragon. The young dragon grabbed the blue dragon's neck with his front claws, and with a flick of his neck, hit the other dragon's left hind leg. Luke pushed him off, and leaped at the other blue dragons.
Propheci ordered a giant Propheci to sweep the police dragons off their feet, and the giant who had faced the Penn Crew in the Lost Track of Doom obeyed Propheci's command. Five dragons were swept their feet, and their riders trapped underneath them. Lukershun laughed, and Armeggaddon fired Mag Fury at the guards.
Inside the field, Cain felt something on his back, and was shocked to see the ground being sorched. He turned, and saw a flurry of Mag Fury flying towards him. Moordryd fell heavily onto the ground, and could only watch as his rival grabs the ball. The comment, "Here comes his dragon!" caused Moordryd to wince. Artha was magged into the air, and threw the ball into the goal. Moordryd growled, when he saw the score 2-1.
A minute later, Moordryd was in the air again. He went straight for Artha's right ribcage, just as Artha grabbed the ball, and he smiled, when Artha touched his injuried rib. The younger teenage was magged down to Beau, who started to run faster than Decepshun. The older teen returned to Decepshun's saddle, and urged his dragon to run faster. She obeyed, and her rider looked at Artha, who looked to the left.
Cain said, "Come on, Coershun. We have to cut the Penn boy off." Coershun refused to obey him, and continued to claw the ground. His rider said, "Come on! Why are you not listening? Ah, is it because you sense your son's presence?" Coershun stopped clawing, and nodded fiercely. Cain managed to get Coershun running again, and the dragon ran to join Decepshun. In the next instant, he regretted it, as he suddenly knocked into Decepshun. Cain shook himself furiously, as he tried to settle his throbbing head. He was nearly calm, when he found himself being pushed aside. Shaynn was driving towards him, and used the brown gear. Coershun was trapped with Decepshun again. Beau was magging Artha again, and the teenager went on to score again. A few minutes later, Cain said, "They are starting to scrape our scales. Did you see some mag moves coming into this field? You know something, Moordryd? My dragon could sense his son's presence is somewhere nearby." Moordryd replied, "The Penn Brat is hurt, and is hurt bad. I notice some mag moves coming into the field. It looks like Armeggaddon is close to the city. I would not partner with him again." He rubbed his right wrist unconsciously, and shook his head fiercely, as the gong sounded again. The ball came out of the hole again, and Artha was magged into the air once more. Cain watched Moordryd drive Decepshun forward, and he followed. Shaynn drove forward, and the two dragons flung Rumbull off his feet, with their tails. Artha received the ball, and was magged down. As Beau ran, he noticed Decepshun and Coershun coming towards him again. This time, Beau did not, could not jump out, and was jostled left and right.
Moordryd raised his left elbow, and knocked Artha's right side. Cain hit Artha's left ribcage, forcing him to release the ball. The ball went into the air again, and Moordryd looked up. The older teenager got the ball, and was magged into the air.
He kicked the ball into his goal, and scored!
Minutes later, Artha had the ball again, and was running with Coershun right behind him. Cain used the green gear, and Artha was nearly flung off Beau. The ball slipped from his hand again, and was a loose ball. Cain, using his Jakk stick, hit the ball, and watched as Decepshun leaped into the air to use her tail. Decepshun hit the ball with her tail, and she scored a goal for her team.
Half-time came. In the Dragon Eyes section, Moordryd walked over to Coershun, and said, "You did well, Coershun, even though you felt Lukershun's presence. Do not worry. United Crew will get your son back. I promise." He patted the dragon, who cried softly. Cain hugged Coershun. Decepshun nuzzled Coershun, "Well done, Coershun. Keep it up."
Half time over. Cain and Moordryd faced Artha and Shaynn. They were shocked to see Beau and Rumbull with White Rappel Gear, White Aero Gear and Red Thruster Gear. Up in the VIP seating area, Word could not believe his eyes, and asked Sentrus about it. When he heard her answers, he frowned, with his old friend smiling behind his back. She smiled. Down on the field, the ball was released yet again, and Decepshun magged Moordryd into the air. On the other side, Artha merely smiled as he reached for his mag energy button. Moordryd reached for the ball, and was shocked to see it being grabbed by a White Rappel Gear. He made a grab for it, but he was too slow, and the ball went to Artha, who was being magged into the air. Artha got it, and threw it down to Shaynn, who received it. Rumbull ran forward, just as Coershun was heading towards him! Cain used the green gear once more, and Shaynn counteract his move by using Red Thruster Gears and White Aero to leap over Coershun. The younger brother of the Drag Ball champion was magged into the air, and kicked the ball to score a goal for the Penn Team. A few minutes later, Moordryd and Artha were being magged into the air. Just as Artha reached the ball, Moordryd took out his trusty whip, and whipped Artha's right leg. Moordryd pulled, and Artha released his hold on the ball, and the ball was loose again. Beau magged Artha down, and started to run forward. The ball returned to Artha, and the teenager smiled, as Beau magged him into the air again. Artha equalized again! Moordryd growled, and shook his right fist. His father told Connor and the others about being thirsty, and got out of his seat in the VIP seating. In the Drag Ball Field, Cain was being magged into the air. His best friend, Moordryd, went to face Shaynn. He was aiming for the ball, and at the same time, Artha was aiming for the ball too. Coershun watched Cain, and just as Artha was reaching for the ball, he managed to get his rider to get the ball instead. As Cain grabbed the ball, he powered down, and roared. He turned towards the direction where the Mag Fury had come from, and stood on his hind legs, and clawed the air. Decepshun heard his cry of despair, and she roared with him. Beau and Rumbull suddenly joined in. Artha asked, “What is it, Beau? Why is Coershun crying, and clawing the air? Is something wrong?” Beau was knocked by Decepshun, even though he was listening to Coershun’s cry. Up in the VIP Seats, Connor asked, “What is the matter with Coershun?” Sentrus said, “I do not know what the matter with that dragon is. You are a breeder, Connor. Can you tell me a dragon’s feelings, by looking at it?” Connor stroked his chin, as he slowly studied Coershun. Down in the tunnel, Word could see Coershun clawing the air. He was wearing his Wraith Gear goggles, and was going to send one of his Wraith Dragons into the field. He directed his dragon into Coershun’s direction. Minutes later, he could hear Coershun’s cry, and he said to himself, “Coershun is crying. What is wrong with him?” Cain dropped to the ground, and looked at Coershun, unaware a Wraith Dragon was close to him. Cain asked, “Coershun did something happen to your son? Can you sense him?” In the tunnel, Word mouthed the words, “Coershun, did something happen to your son? His son? Coershun has a son?” This was new to Word, and he told his Wraith Dragon to return to him for further instructions. Fortunately for Word, Moordryd did not feel the ground shaking. But Cain felt it, and he frowned. The ball was launched again. Cain calmed his dragon with an affectionate embrace, saying, “I need you, Coershun. I promise I will be at your side, when this is over. I need to catch up with the Penn boy. Mag me!” Coershun growled fiercely, yet he obeyed the order. Decepshun ran straight towards Beau, knocking him to the side. Her rider activated the brown gear, and watched as Cain knocked Artha away, and threw the ball down. Moordryd received the ball, and Shaynn watched in dismay, as he ran towards the goal. Shaynn could not prevent Cain and Coershun from coming towards him. Cain trapped him at the side, activating the brown gear. In the air, Artha touched his injured rib, and saw Moordryd running. The younger teen used a skateboard to catch up with the older teen, and that is when Word directed a Wraith Dragon forward. Moordryd kept running, and the Wraith Dragon stomped towards Artha, who was distracted, and knocked him clean out of the sky.
Artha’s scream of despair caught Moordryd’s attention, and made him look back. Moordryd asked, “A Wraith Dragon?” only to be hit by a falling Artha and being forced to release his hold on the ball. The loose ball dropped a few feet away from them, and was picked up by Cain. Cain ran to score a goal for the Dragon Eyes, making the score 5-4. Upon returning to Decepshun, Moordryd furiously told his father, “I don’t need your help, Father!” His father replied, “What!” He cut his father off, and looked to his partner. Coershun was fidgety again, and showed his restless spirit by clawing the ground with his right claw.
The ball was launched yet again, and Moordryd was magged into the air again. His rival was magged into the air again. Coershun growled, but he allowed Cain to drive him forward. Cain used the green gear, and Shaynn successful deflected it away from him. In the air, Artha grabbed the ball, and Moordryd grabbed it too, making it a tug-of-war. Word directed the Wraith Dragon towards Beau, and Beau was swept off his feet. Beau’s action blocked Decepshun, and she was swept her feet too. Slamming hard into the green ‘cone’, Beau’s energy was cut off, forcing Artha to fall down again. Moordryd fell down too, after Decepshun’s energy was cut off. When the teens fell down hard, Sentrus winced upon seeing this. Shaynn was right behind Cain, and he grinned, as he activated the White Rappel Gear. The gear caught the back of Cain’s saddle, forcing Coershun to slow down. The two dragons were, however, running towards the ‘cone’, and the gear caught the cone, forcing the two dragons to be tied together. A moment later, Cain shook his head. Coershun roared again, and Cain said, “It is well and truly over for us, Coershun. I have nothing else to say to you. I mean, I do not know what to tell you now.” The teens slowly recovered from their fall, and Moordryd was the first to recover. But the older teen did not get up to reach for the loose ball. Instead, he allowed the younger teen to reach for the ball. “Stable brat, I cannot stop my father’s Wraith Dragon. There really is next year.” Moordryd told Artha, as the younger teen agonizingly got to his feet. Artha stoo
