Has anyone seen the dragon-park in the episode 'Pride of the Hero' ??
At the begining where Mordryd forces Artha down the wrong route.

I was getting reference shots for my models when i spoted it, cool idea :P .

Sorry if this has been brought up before.

Yep, I've seen that. There's also smaller versions of a dragon park in "The Stand".

The question I've always had is why would a dragon allow their feet to be pinned down like that. I guess you could say that's why there's a dragon-human war coming, but you'd think a dragon would just refuse to stand there. And would a dragon really just wander off like a horse would if you didn't secure them?

Good question for The Magna Draconis sometime. :)

"The dragons are becoming harder to control. Everyone's talking about it."

Perhaps such measures have become necessary in recent times. A rider might have enough authority to issue commands to their dragon in person, but I somehow doubt that any would say they could have total control over their dragon when they're not even there.

I hadn't noticed that there feet had been pinned down before! Elushun's comment is also very interesting. It does seem at times, that the dragons do make there own decisions (people have pointed out lately Parm/Cyrano relationship), especially when the rider is being indecisive and one is called for. It's also interesting that the dragons maintain a semi-subservient nature despite their intelligence and ability to "read" their riders (though Psi-class dragons can make more powerful connections).

I think it's a great question to ask.

Maybe in the past, dragons might have just been tied up, like a horse, but something may have happened before that they had to pin them to stop say more stampedes, until the likes of Mordryd come along and unlock them.

It does seem cruel to pin them in the same postition for any length of time, i know i wouldn't like it.

Maybe before pinning, that is just one of the posiblities of how a war started.
The next one might have the dragons pinning the humans down in those spots ;) as revenge.

The pinning pads are probably just a recent innovation of draconium technology. I imagine that at some point in the past there was the dragon equivalent of a hitching post out in front of the local saloon.

That does seem like a good reason to have them secured.

Hey DB fans,
today i have washed my car in a car wash, and there i ask me ,how a Dragon City Dragon wash would look? :D

Have you any ideas?

The Furox - February 17, 2008 01:35 AM (GMT)
Well, it could be like the whale-wash in the movie "Shark's Tale". You know, a conveyor belt the dragon stands on, and as it goes through it gets sprayed with water and soap, then scrubbed and finally air dried. :)

Or you could wash your dragon yourself in your driveway with a garden hose and bucket. :D

Yeah, and have the neighbors call wildlife control because an unidentified living organism is standing on your driveway.

When the dragon shakes dry, you will be more soaking wet! Why? The dragon is much bigger than the Great Dane! Imagine washing a horse is more like it.
