Hey...if Dragon Booster is a show made for kids? Why isn't it popular with the kids?Maybe they should change this show for teens only.I'm only one of a few DB fans that live in the Philippines. :faint:

I don't think DB is necessarily unpopular with kids, though it may work better for teens and older viewers. It'd be fine with me if they wrote for an older audience. I think the show would do a lot better on Cartoon Network than Toon Disney myself here in the US since it would be more likely to reach older viewers.
By the way, your signature is really big. I'd use smaller images or take most of them out.

I would like it if they wrote for an older audience. I think the show would be more interesting and less corny.
You are in the Philippines? Im half Filippino!! :eep: lol!

I'm not sure about how popular it was in its heyday, but I think it's popularity has dropped since it ended.

The Magna Draconis said the show found a good audience with college age folks, which is why Toon Disney switched it to airing at night. I think it would have found an even bigger audience if it had been shown on Cartoon Network instead since they have a *lot* of programming geared to older teens and adults and it would have fit in better.
But yeah, the popularity of any show tends to trail off after it stops airing and when there are no new episodes.
But...
Surprisingly, the traffic to dragon-city.org has remained fairly high, even with the show off the air in the US. Traffic to my site peaked in March of 2007 which was just after the last new episode aired. However, traffic has only dropped about 10% since then, which I think is pretty impressive and shows there's still a lot of interest in the show. And the statistics show that even now about half of all the visitors to the site bookmark it when they visit. That means there's a lot of new visitors coming through for the first time even now. These are either going to be people who have just discovered the show, perhaps from watching in countries where it's still airing or by finding the videos on youtube, or are people who knew about the show from before and still like it enough that they decided to check it on the web. Either way, it means people still care about the show.
Plus the petition continues to grow on a daily basis and is quickly approaching 7000. I expect it to hit 10,000 in a few more months. So I think it's pretty cool that there's still that much interest in DB even when it's been almost a year since the last new episode aired here. It keeps the door open for a come-back!

We fans are keeping our foot there. :D Maybe it'll open wider.
I agree that the show should be geared towards older kids/people.
