Title: Propheci For President!
Description: Who do you want to lead?

The Furox - February 2, 2008 07:55 AM (GMT)
Propheci thinks dragons should rule. OK, so let's say he gets his way and there's any election where everyone gets to vote for the dragon they want to lead their country. Who would you pick and why?

As for myself, I'm picking Propheci! The reason? He's confident, decisive, and a naturally strong leader. He's not wishy-washy at all and clearly won't be swayed by lobbyists or special interest groups. He's also the only dragon that actually leads a crew right now which gives him the most leadership experience.

Propheci for President! :)

Yeah, yeah ...How'd I know you'd pick Propheci. (grin) :P . He definitely has the credentials to be leader though, doesn't he? Not sure who I'd pick though. I might pick Beau or Tyrannis Pax. Beau being the dragon of legend would make a good choice. Tyrannus Pax though, (i know we've only seen him for a few minutes in the entire three seasons) being Conners dragon, has evolved and would probably be wise enough to lead the other dragons. :) :)

Artha_penn1995 - February 2, 2008 01:24 PM (GMT)
Tyrannis Pax all the way!

He's big, he's wise, and more important, he has a "crown" on his head!

Everyone vote for T. Pax!!!

Burnout Beau - February 2, 2008 02:33 PM (GMT)
I have three choices:

Firstly, vote for Fracshun! A strong-willed, wise and confident leader is too common these days and is like so yesterday. Now, let's see a leader/president/prime minister rule with a cute, puppy-like paw! Should he run for President, he'll cut taxes for games and toys by 99% and working hours slashed to just 30 minutes. So now, everyone can spend their time playing with toys and games with each other and school homeworks are nothing but a distant memory. :D

Secondly, vote for Coershun! He'll be a President who cares for all the cookie factories in Dragon City and not only he'll be ruling the country, but also the cookie industry! Price of cookies will now be sold for free at every retail outlet and with him at the helm, there will be no more hungry people in the world! The only downside to his rule is that yellow-bellied newts will face extinction soon. :P

And thirdly, vote for Gunny! Not much to say here, but seeing Gunny ruling over Dragon City is like seeing Dark Helmet ruling over the Spaceballs from the 'Spaceballs' movie. :D

Yeah, I decided to leave Beau out 'cuz it's too common already for me to see him lead the world.

XD That's funny and true.

Let's see...
I'd vote for Propheci because he actually seems to know how to lead. He already leads a crew and seems to know how to command them. He just has problems with that rascally Dragon Booster and his meddling friends. Beau may be legendary but he doesn't seem to be mature enough to lead a whole country. He may be able to automatically command dragons but humans might not listen to him.

Nowna - February 2, 2008 09:55 PM (GMT)
Beau. The dragons lisen to him. ;)

arrow - February 2, 2008 10:19 PM (GMT)

who would want a dictator as leader?

I vote for Beau, because all the dragons listen to him. He can mag all gear of all levels.

Vysox.

She'd rule with an iron fist, um, urm claw.

Artha_penn1995 - February 3, 2008 06:13 PM (GMT)
NOOOO!!!
We need more T. Pax votes!!!! Everyone vote for T. Pax! <_<

The Furox - February 3, 2008 06:56 PM (GMT)
T. Pax might be a good leader. Though they haven't shown us all that much of his personality, so it's hard to tell what he's really like (other than the fact that he's a "good guy").

I figured a lot of people would vote for Beau. The thing about Beau is that I'm not sure he wants the job. :) Except for when he or Artha are in danger, he seems fairly content just to go along with whatever else is happening. He probably could lead, but I'm just not sure he wants to be a leader.

Fracshun is an interesting choice. While he might decree cookies for all, I tend to think he'd be more like a deer caught in the headlights if he was elected. He'd just kind of stand there and not know what to do. :) Do you think he'd choose Lance as his vice president? That could almost be dangerous. :D

That's why I keep going back to Propheci: he wants the job and he knows what he wants to do and he knows how to lead. I might be swayed to vote for T. Pax if I just knew more about him and what he wants for the world. He's definitely a cool dragon and physically strong. Maybe we'll learn more about him in seasons 4 & 5.

Oh, and I accidentally left Libris off the list of choices. I asked LightningFlash if she could add him for me. He might a good choice if you can be assured he won't go back into his angry mood...

Furox is right that Beau probably dosen't want it, still gotta go for T-pax. Can't have the baddies in charge.

This is a special message from Vysox. She says to vote for her otherwise, they'll understand why she has those sabre teeth.

Liliwen - February 4, 2008 01:02 AM (GMT)
I voted for T-Pax. He's got the muscle, I assume he's pretty intelligent, (he did after all, go through the entire academy, so he does have something over Propheci, who hasn't been to the academy) and since he's a Dragon Preist's dragon, I'll also assume he holds the same beliefs as them and about the same as Beau does. Plus, he doesn't want to imprison humans. That's a plus. :P

I didn't vote for Beau, because, though he'd be fair in ruling, he is after all, only sixteen. I'd rather have a leader with a little more age. More age, more experience.

IbanezJFS - February 4, 2008 01:29 AM (GMT)
CYRANO. We need a Dragon who is tough and strong. And wont take any Dragon Crap from anybody. Weather if it people like the people who work for Moordryd and Prochesi. Or the other most vile thing on the planet......HIPPIES!!! <_< . Im sure Cyrano would have no problem running right over them.

While Furox is an uber-cool dragon, I can't say as he's demonstrated any leadership skills. He pretty much sticks to growling, roaring and causing general chaos. :) Plus other than causing general chaos, I don't really know what Furox wants for the world. I'm not really sure he has an interest in being a leader either. Which brings us back to my favorite orange dragon...

Is Propheci really a baddie? He's stated that humans shouldn't control and use dragons. In many respects, he's actually a dragon freedom fighter! OK, so some of his methods are a bit extreme, but I think most freedom fighters tend to be on the extreme side of things, don't you think. And if he was elected as leader, I don't think it would necessarily be bad for the humans. He actually hasn't yet stated what his plans are for humans. Perhaps once he's in office and has achieved equal rights for dragons, he'll start handing out cookies to everyone. :D

Yeah, that's pretty unlikely, but it could happen. :) But I just love the idea of Propheci getting elected, taking the oath of office and making speeches and such. And he's so good at making speeches! He definitely has all the other dragons beat in that area!

Propheci for President!

Well.....I can see your point. ;) Propheci's Dragon-rights stance is admirable, and freedom fighters are often extreme. I'll tell you one thing, there would be no "milking the clock" in Dragon-city, with Propheci in charge. I could just see it all now ("You know what that extra seven minutes cost you?! A trip to solitary in the Track of Doom Mister"-especially since orange dragons would be running most of the businesses). He would be a great speaker though, he has a commanding presence, great use of words and there is truth in what he says, albeit somewhat skewed. Would dragon city be in total fear though? He could be a nice guy once he takes over, but I suspect he has other plans for the hairless apes....

*takes newsbroadcaster's mode*

And today in the polls,

Beau is in the lead,
Followed by the ancient Tyrannis Pax
Propheci Reigns in third,
And Fracshun, Cyrano, and Vysox are tied.

Propheci: Ah! These humans are picking someone who wants dragons to be equals! Must get into parlament and destroy all humans

Vysox: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

Fracshun: I like candy

Beau: Go me! The Dragon of Legend kicks tail!

T. Pax: What's going on? People want me to rule? I think that humans and dragons are supposed to be equal. I will not tolerate such behavior!

LOL! The competition for the president rages like a hurricane on the DB Boards of Discussion!
:D

Shock-ra. Why? He's blue. :P

Seriously, though. He's Khata's dragon, and they say that Khata's dragons are different from most other blue dragons, right? Shock-ra would be loyal, follow order, and he isn't bent on human-enslavement, like Propheci, so I vote for Shock-ra! Yay!

Shock-ra for Prime Minister of Canada! Hehehe...

In our Dragon City Dragon Leader election, a new candidate has entered the race. Shock-Ra with one vote!

Crystal Wildfyr - February 13, 2008 03:51 AM (GMT)
I agree with the Furox.

Propheci wants dragons to not be used by humans, and aren't the humans the 'bad guys' in an intelligent dragon's eyes? They were tamed by the hmans, and Propheci wants peace, even if his ways of getting it seem a bit extreme. He's right, in the minds of the reptilian slaves of humans. I'm seeing it through the minds of the mayjority. Think like a dragon!

Vote for Propheci! *Goes off to make a banner* Furox, got a good Propheci screencap?

Airshadow - February 13, 2008 04:46 AM (GMT)
I voted for beu

HE's cute, smart and he wants tyo join Dragons and humans

Yeah, Shock-ra could be a good choice. Khatah said his dragons respected order. That could always be good, though too much order can be bad (e.g., obsessive-compulsive behavior).

And Propheci is still in the #2 spot right behind Beau! Go Propheci!

I still think he'd be a good leader since he's so motivated in everything he does. By the way, for this poll you don't need to assume the winner gets dictatorial powers. The chosen leader still has to work within the framework of whatever constitution there is already in place. So that's going to limit their power.

Hmm, I wonder who Propheci would pick for vice-president. How about Furox! Those two would make quite a team. :D

There are tons in Nashy-Bear's screen shot archive on dragon-city.org.

Oh by the way, LightningFlash fixed my poll and you can now vote for Libris if you want! I accidentally left him off the list when I started it. He might be good, though gray seems kind of neutral. Maybe he'd be too indecisive to lead. :) On the other claw, he's big and powerful, so maybe that's more important. :D

I can see it now. If you argue with the president, not only do you have to deal with his army of mindless orange minions, you have to deal with his VP, **** pounds of teeth and claws(and enough brains to figure out most traps).

Sennkoh- Coola - March 13, 2008 08:18 PM (GMT)
I voted for Propheci, because he knows how to lead, and will probably do a better job than our (england) prime minster.

The Furox - March 14, 2008 08:08 AM (GMT)
Oh, good choice! I would also argue that Propheci has demonstrated the most intelligence of any dragon in the series. A good trait for a leader!

OK, we currently have a tie between Beau and Propheci. Let's get some more votes!

Momo - March 29, 2008 03:34 PM (GMT)
I voted but I didn't post anything (or did I? I bet my post is staring at me saying "cooee!"), any way I can't remember who I voted for, it was probably Propheci.

Lancepenn - March 29, 2008 03:35 PM (GMT)
Much as I dislike Propheci, I am voting for him. He has the qualities of a leader, if he is not so evil.
