Anyone in the forum knows or like Digimon?

For me, I first got to know about it when the toy (something like 'Tamagotchi') was first released way back in '99. Back then, it was the hot stuff among kids and basically everyone, even me, got one or more. :rolleyes:

Then, came the anime series that solidifies my love for Digimons. I don't know, but I find them more 'interesting' than Pokemons; the fact that they're more tough-and cool-looking than adorable just seems to attract me more. :plot:

As for the anime series, I find the second and the current fifth season interesting, although I've yet to see the latter. :unsure:

I know it! and I kinda like it but I haven't seen all the series yet, I only heard about them a month ago or something like that.

And I remember those toys, "Tamagotchi" I used to have 5 of them, but then somebody stole them. :( :unsure:

Shucks. That happened to me too once, but only lose one (the Digimon toy, not the Tamagotchi one). :mellow:

omg I LOVED digimon when they first came out, I came prety close to buying the movies and such, but it slowly started to fade away. T.T

But it's fun to go over to my friends house and play Digimon World 2 on his Playstation every once in a while, he was a huge fan too. :P

I had one Tamagotchi, and I played it for a while. After that, I stopped buying it. I like Digimon. I had the entire set of Season 1, and I would watch it again and again. My set was directly translated from Japan, and I get to listen the original names of the eight children. From my set, you hear their names as Taichi, Yamato, Koushiro, Takeru, and Hikari (instead of Tai, Matt, Izzy, TK, and Kari).
Of the digimon, Gatomon is known instead as Tailmon. Malaysians shared the semi benefits as the Japanese. When it was shown on ET television, the direct translation was used. What I mean is, it is not the USA version. It is the Japanese version, except it was in English. On the satellite tv, Malaysians could listen to the original (i.e. Japanese) if they change the language to Japanese to be default. For some months, I had been recording the Digimon show. It was shown at 6:00, and at 7:30am.
I loved Tailmon (Gatomon), Lightdramon (Raidramon), and Guilmon.

-digimon was a favourite anime of mine. digimon tamers, season 3, is my favourite. my fav digimon are,
renemon, kyubimon, guilmon, growlmon, wargrowlmon, raidramon, gatomon, magnamon, seadramon, garurumon, metelgarurumon plus loads more. too many to be honoust!

Understandable. There are so many different digimon to choose from. Do you understand which digimon I was talking about in brackets ()? I put in the USA version's digimon, so that no one can be confused.
I have yet to see Season 4, 5, and 6. I have watched Season 1,2, and 3 (The Tamers). The Tamers were all right. One of the Tamers' digimon looks like Ninetails from Pokemon. Do you think so?

i remember those tamagotchi things i have like 2 of them one was like the old version and the other was like the digimon spirit evolution i haven't seen that season.
i loved the first season alright with the 2nd. the 3rd season seemed good.

nyramon (in training form), salamon (so cute! rookie), gatomon (tailmon) (my most definet fav!), angewomon (shes wicked), nefertimon the angel of light (egg), magnadramon (gatmons mega form)

lilymon (palmons ultimate form shes the best!)
hawkmon, aquilamon!, halsemon the wings of love
patamon (hes so cute), angemon, pegasusmon flying hope.
renamon, kyubimon
guilmon
terriermon
swanmon
marineangemon (don't underestmate it! it's a mega form)
demiveemon ^^, flamdramon the fire of courage.

For me, season 4 (aka Frontier) looks boring; season 5 (aka Data Squad) looks interesting (yet to watch it); and there's no season 6 yet.

I have been looking up at Season 4 (aka Frontier), and I do not like what I read. It sounds boring. The fifth season sounds and looks interesting. I am excited about the fifth season. Thanks, Burnout Beau.
We, Malaysians, have not yet seen the fourth season. It is currently not showing in Malaysia.

I've seen a few frontier episodes myself. I enjoyed tamers (some cool concepts there). Digimon stories also tend to have more dramatic elements than most of the other toons of the "digital monster" or "card monster" genre. I've started Teevoing some of the recent ones (that have aired here in the states) and will have to start watching them soon.
