I know quite a few people on this board are fans of Eragon and the other books in the series, so I think they'd like to know that they've finally revealed the title of the long-awaited third book.

I know that, it's just that anyone who HASN'T read any of the previous books will be going 'Huh?'.
Plus, up 'til now every book has started with E.

The third book will be split into two volumes, since it will be thick. Check Wikipedia, if you do not believe me. So there will be four books, instead of three. But it will still be a trilogy. I enjoyed reading Eragon, and I have the DVD. I have read Eragon and Eldest.

But I thought the third book is supposed to be called 'Empire' or something. Or at least a six-lettered word that starts with 'E'. :unsure:

Well, since the third book was supposed to be the last one until he made it too big for one book. So the fourth book is probably called Empire.
Although, if he's still going by the E-six syllables pattern with the next book, it'll look a bit weird, won't it? Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Empire.
I've read both of the books that are currently out. While I loved Eragon (and still enjoy reading it today, despite my semi-siding with the anti-Eragon fans), I did not like Eldest. Eldest was scene after boring scene of Eragon becoming an overpowered elf-boy Stu. I was tempted to skip Eragon's chapters to get to Roran's parts, which were more interesting.

Roran is a good young man. I am admiring him as much as I admire Eragon. I am anxious to know what happen to Eragon, after Eldest. I am glad Roran has Katherine by his side. I was worried for these two, and he made a huge effort to bring her with him. Her father was mean to him, and I did not like him.

Eraon is actually pretty good, for I say! I have the movie Eragon, played the game, beat it, read Eragon, currently reading Eldest, and heading off to get the third book! I love Eragon, not as much as Dragon Wars, but Sarphira is my top favorite character becuase she thinks before she ascts and she is a very wise dragon. Arn't they all!!!??? But I am a Eragon fanatic too! But I can't wait to read the third, and I believe he is makin' the fourth or somethin'! I hope they make more movies to go with the Eragon movie, it wouldn't be right, ot me! :D
