Title: I Am Legend

Just saw I Am Legend. I really enjoyed it.

I'd recomend it to people who like zombie films, although these zombies were a little more human than most. (At least I thought they were.)

And a question for all those who have seen the film: (Slight spoilers, you won't really get it if you haven't seen the film anyway)

Neville said that the infected had no social structure, human emotions or reactions past rage, but the film challenges it's self on this most of the way through. Here are some examples I remember, and most of them link to one infected, Tattered Shirt Guy:

Tattered Shirt Guy (The big male with the remains of a shirt) didn't run into the light following the scent of blood, but the young female Neville had captured. His eyes clearly looked at the bag he knew she was in before he roared at Neville and turned away.

He learned from Neville's trap by copying it. This wouldn't be seen as intelligence because he only copied BUT he took the manequin that Neville spoke to every morning. This shows that he knew this would lure Neville in particular in. (Hell, if he had put meat there he may have been able to lure in bigger prey like those lions, but instead he chose to make a trap specificly for Neville.)

I think he planned the attacks on Neville after the trap, or at least brought the troops together. He was the one that roared out what to do (or at least it looked like it, he egged the others on while keeping out of the range of his enemy.)

As I said above, he's only after Neville. He all but ignored the woman and her child while fighting. This shows he wasn't just going to eat, he wanted to be the one to kill Neville. He held a grudge. Have you ever heard of anything besides a human wanting to kill for a grudge?

In the final fight it was Tattered Shirt Guy who forced the others back while the humans were trapped in the glass cage. He looked at Neville, not the other two before throwing himself at the glass. The fact the others backed down shows he has some authority over them. This was probably gained by him being the biggest and strongest, shown by him slaming the others away, but the fact they stayed there after he did gave me the sence that he was punnishing them for getting to his quarry first.

Did anyone else spot this, or am I being too analytical?

I enjoyed it too, but it just made me grateful to have my family around. I would not want to be the last person on the planet, with just a dog as a companion. The tattered shirt zombie looks like Voldemort.
Come to think of it, the zombies did not attack Samathan when she entered the dark room where they were standing in. That beam of light between the trap and the car is like a bridge. Bridges opened upwards, when ships passed underneath. It is the same with the sunlight's beam.
You are not the only one who noticed about the tattered t-shirt zombie. I noticed it too. I wonder why he was after Neville too.

I got that part, it was more the fact that he was chasing the girl that got to me. Maybe she was his mate? (If so, I'd be pevved she was stolen too. Neville had already killed quite a few of them, so maybe Tattered Shirt Guy was scared for his girl's safety. That would explain why he wanted Neville so bad.)

If that was his mate I can see why he was so out of control in the final fight to. He saw her there and she was changed into one of the things he saw as food: it must have been terrifying.

(And now I feel sorry for the monster. lol)

My sister saw it and said it wasn't very good

it was very .....well... intense. i did enjoy the movie though.

i did notice that the leader zombie had it in for him.

And another thing i thought of, how did nevil get a ford mustang in such good condition, all nice and shiney, and running in perfect condition, when the city was in ruin and when getting gas pobably not all that easy. And his other car isn't even in that good of condition.
